What is the experience like for teams switching to Textedly from another tool?

Moving to Textedly from other texting and marketing tools—including EZ Texting, SimpleTexting, Remind, and Mailchimp—has been driven by needs such as lower costs, easier mass messaging, or a simpler interface. • Mobile access — Provide a more capable mobile experience for sending messages and managing replies away from a computer.

"Efficient Appointment Reminders with Easy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

I use Textedly to remind patients of their appointments, and it saves me so much time. I don't have to call every patient personally and wait for their voicemail before leaving a message. My favorite thing is that patients can text me back and let me know if they will make it to their appointment or if they need to reschedule. Texting is much faster than calling individual patients. The setup was a breeze and the app is so easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

I wish that it had a place I could store my text list instead of having to maintain an Excel sheet and import a new list every time I have to add or remove someone. That way I wouldn't have to wait for the upload format to be checked and wait for the email confirmation before I could start to send my text. I think it would be helpful when a patient replies to my text that it shows their name not just their phone number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ally Archer of Textedly

We're thrilled to hear that Textedly is saving you time and simplifying patient communication at your office. Our goal is to make your workflow more efficient, and we're glad to hear that you're finding value in the ease of composing and sending text messages. You can make a template so you can just insert the message rather than type it out each time!

Best,

Ally

"User-Friendly and Highly Responsive, But Costly"
5/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

I like how user-friendly Textedly is. It's very intuitive, and it's not hard at all to use, which has made training multiple team members super simple. I also appreciate how Textedly provides a sample form to show exactly how you need to import and export when updating your audience. The platform is consistently one of the most raved about services we offer; people love it, and folks in my company are always curious about it. The customer support team always responds really quickly whenever I've asked for help. Textedly is super helpful for mass communication, allowing me to schedule messages and send campaigns either immediately or at a scheduled time. The feature that lets me know when someone unsubscribes or if messages bounce is also handy. Additionally, I love the keyword feature, which keeps my audience organized so I can easily add people to a group without worrying about reorganization. They even offer incentives like bonus points for filling out Google reviews, which really helps my budget. While Textedly is on the cheaper end compared to others, the quality is high, making it a financial no-brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

It's just expensive. That's my biggest complaint about all texting mass marketing sites. They're just very expensive. That's, yeah, my biggest complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Team Communication with Easy Group Segmentation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

I like Textedly because the platform is pretty easy to use. I appreciate the ability to put people in groups so we can send specific things to specific groups of people. It's very convenient to be able to group people and not add them individually each time, especially since we have different groups of employees like field and office workers, as well as different groups within our field teams. The initial setup was relatively seamless, and we had a Textedly rep helping us along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

I don't like that we can't message to two or more different groups at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emily O. of Textedly

Hi Kat,

We're glad to hear that you find Textedly easy to use and that the group segmentation feature is convenient for your team's communication needs. We appreciate your feedback and do want to let you know that you can message multiple groups at once! Please chat in with support, and we are happy to help show you how to do this.

Thank you for being a Textedly customer!

Emily

"Hassle-Free Messaging for Training and Event Updates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

I like I am able to send message to our consumers about trainings and events that are upcoming without a hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

I dislike how long it takes for verification during the registration process. It would be helpful to let users know how long the process takes so we can plan accordingly for new users in our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ally Archer of Textedly

We're glad to hear that Textedly has been helpful for sending messages about trainings and events. We apologize for any inconvenience during the registration process and work very hard with the mobile carriers for quick approval!

"Simple Group Texting For Employees"
4/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

easy to create groups to send texts to. Adding tags also helps distinguish the different groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

There is no way to send texts to multiple tags. It is either everyone subscribed to the keyword or one individual group. There was an error with adding a credit card where it didn't allow me to add one yet said it was already added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emily O. of Textedly

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re glad groups and tags make it easier to reach your field employees and save time. We understand that sending to multiple tags and the credit card issue were frustrating, and we’ll share both with our team.

"Fast, Easy Announcements to Students and Families"
5/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

It’s easy to get announcements out to my students, and it saves me a lot of time. I can write the message once, and all the families who signed up will receive it—even the ones who don’t use email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

Getting everything set up took a lot of time. I ended up needing to use ChatGPT to help me through it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ally Archer of Textedly

We're glad to hear that Textedly is helping you save time and improve communication with your students and their families. We apologize for any inconvenience during the setup process and appreciate your feedback. If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.

What do you like best about Textedly?

The online chat feature was outstanding. I was hesitant to use chat because I’ve had issues with most other chats I’ve tried, but Paige was prompt, created a ticket, and resolved my new-user login issue within minutes. I was logged in and good to go without having to wait, and I feel confident that I can get any future issues addressed quickly. The initial setup has been good so far. "Best Customer Support!!!"
5/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

I love using Textedly to communicate with team members who aren't tied to a computer, especially those on the road or in mobile roles. Being able to easily send text messages quickly is great for getting on top of emergent situations or communications for our team. Everything works great with Textedly; there are no issues. The setup experience was amazing, thanks to the best customer service from Nicole G. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure we understood everything. She walked us through the product, making us feel like experts, and was such a joy to work with. Her amazing personality really shone through, and it was so helpful that I could hear her smile over the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Tool for Mass Outreach with Personalized Communication"
5/5
What do you like best about Textedly?

I like that with Textedly, I can upload images and flyers, and send messages that feel like real person communication instead of automated messages. It helps our community see physical flyers and messages that are the same, which builds trust in our ministry because when we say it, they see it, and we do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textedly?

The number of messages we get a month is deceiving because if it says 3,500, then after 147 characters, it's already considered one message. In reality, we use 7 messages in sending out 1 text due to the information we provide as a nonprofit organization. So, 622 people end up being around 4,800 messages in one shot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emily O. of Textedly

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Textedly. We're happy to hear that the ability to upload images and send personalized messages has been beneficial for your ministry. Thank you for being a valued customer!

Best,

Emily
