**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

We use the Recognition and Employee Engagement Surveys functions to help improve morale and engagement across our global teams. The platform has a user-friendly interface, and it’s straightforward to update and maintain. TeamMaven is also very responsive when we share suggestions for enhancements.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

Perhaps the standard survey reporting could be enhanced, although I realise each client will have different requirements, so that may be difficult to implement.

**What problems is TeamMaven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The People Gallery and Recognition modules improve onboarding and help build teamwork and collaboration across departments, including globally dispersed teams working remotely. The engagement surveys are a valuable leading indicator of potential flight risks and areas of dissatisfaction. The insights aren’t anecdotal; they’re based on company-wide anonymous feedback.

**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

The anonymous conversations feature lets me have whole conversations with people without them having to reveal who they are, making it much easier for people to be direct and honest.

Integration with BambooHR makes it super easy to make sure we have the correct number of seats in TeamMaven, and also that people's details are correct.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

Right now, there is no consolidated view on all conversations, nor on all survey data. It's all per-survey and per-question.

**What problems is TeamMaven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us keep a pulse on how our people are doing, and lets us get specific about problems that people notice but don't know how to bring up.

**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

It is relatively easy to use. Can be tricky to navigate sometimes. JP is extremely helpful and responsive when I contact him for help. I appreciate the AI summary feature - as review lead for the entire organisation, this saves me a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

Until recently there hasn't been the ability to conduct bulk actions when sending out results for example.

**What problems is TeamMaven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing our organisation to get a quantifiable record of employees' performance and this ties into calculating more accurate performance bonuses we have data to fall back on instead of thumb sucking figures

**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

I appreciate how everything is centralized and easily accessible for both employees and their managers.  It was also very easy to set up and to align with the manual performance review system we had in the past.  I also appreciate the fact that support is easily available and then the developer is very open to suggestions and to customize the platform for each company's individual needs.   It was really easy to integrate TeamMaven with the performance system we already had in the company.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

I have no complaints about TeamMaven, as it has transformed our performance management system by making everything accessible in a single location. It is a significant improvement over the Excel sheets we relied on previously.

**What problems is TeamMaven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamMaven has automated our performance review process, making it much more efficient. Both employees and supervisors can easily access their teams' performance reviews and goals, which helps supervisors better support the employees who report to them. The automated system not only saves time but is also straightforward for everyone to use. Since implementing this system, our six-month reviews are far more likely to take place. Additionally, I have noticed increased buy-in from management regarding the importance of performance reviews within the company.

**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

What stands out is how manager-friendly it is. The review process feels clean and intuitive, no endless clicks or setup. The AI summaries save hours for managers pulling together feedback, and the flexibility to mix self, peer, and manager reviews without heavy admin is a real win. Implementation takes minutes, not weeks, which makes it easy for small HR teams to roll out. Full disclosure: I’m the founder of TeamMaven and using it for my own team.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

Nothing major, but the analytics layer is still evolving. You can export reports easily, but deeper trend analysis or multi-cycle comparisons are on the roadmap. Also, while the design is simple (which I like), some teams might want more visual dashboards or integrations out of the box.

**What problems is TeamMaven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re a very small team, so performance and recognition tools can easily feel like overkill. TeamMaven helps us keep things structured without adding process for the sake of it. I use the Performance module to run lightweight reviews and document goals, and the Recognition module to keep momentum between cycles. It’s helped make feedback more consistent and visible, even at our size, which is hard to do when everyone’s wearing multiple hats.

Our recent Engagement Survey achieved a 32% higher response rate than in previous years. The reporting functionality also made the analysis much easier, and helped the results feel more impactful.

**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

Implementing the performance management tool has been a game-changer for our team. It has brought clarity and consistency to goal-setting and performance reviews. The ability to set SMART objectives, give real-time feedback, and track progress has made performance discussions more meaningful and constructive. Managers are now better equipped to recognise achievements and identify development areas early on.  Overall, it has significantly improved engagement, communication, and alignment across the organisation. It has been an easy to use tool that is user friendly and easy to minister. It has been an easy integration of the tool into the business.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

The initial stages were a bit cumbersome but with the technical support and development team it has helped iron out issues. The one thing that it didn't provide was a final summary review but this is currently a work in progress.

It has assisted us in automating our performance management and calibration sessions and reduced the manual capture by 90%. And it great we can now house everything in just one tool.

JP was very helpful and gives constant updates with the setting up and tailoring the platform to suit our needs. The platform is super user friendly and easy to work on. Team Maven is a  great and even easier platform to give recognition to all our deserving employees.

What is there to dislike? Nothing at all.

The platform has been helpful for us, as we previously lacked any systems for employee performance reviews or recognition.

**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

TeamMaven is incredibly easy to use and when implemented into the business employees easily adapted and enjoyed the system. The system can be tailored to best suit your company's requirements and needs. The team is incredibly friendly and helpful and value the feedback we give them. TeamMaven always kept in touch with us through the entire process to ensure we were comfortable, and the system gave us the information or processes we needed.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

Not being able to go back to a previous page when in an employee's profile instead it reloads the search page, and you have to start from that point again. Not a major pain point and can be easily resolved.

**What problems is TeamMaven solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamMaven automated our performance review process which changed the process for managers and employees positively, the system is easy to use, and employees enjoyed the system too.

**What do you like best about TeamMaven?**

It matches our current goal rating system so the changover so far has been very smooth, we are able to monitor progress and I look forward to better transparency and linking of goals with the system approach now as we were using spreadsheets before.

**What do you dislike about TeamMaven?**

Currently nothing that I dislike but there are some tweaks that we are busy working on to make it work better for us like being able to exceed on some targets or goals and inputting exact numbers for the progress bars.

We needed to automate our current system and link things together in a better way.
