**What do you like best about Tango?**

I find it super convenient to have a Tango card that works at any gas station, so I don't have to get 15 different varieties of cards anymore. The whole process was made super easy for those of us who aren't as technically minded. The setup was super easy as well because they helped me through it.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

It could be easier to discern which cards you want uploaded to your account but that's a minor thing. Moving the international cards to another place and making it very obvious they are international cards with big bold letters for those who are not so smart out there would help.

I find Tango convenient because it provides a gas card that works at any station, eliminating the need for multiple card varieties. It's great for those of us less tech-savvy.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Overall good developer experience. Their API and documentation are quite good. Having a single float to cover all currencies without having to think much about it is nice. No subscription fee.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Customer support is basically non-existent. We've had problems with gift cards that they've issued before and getting a meaningful reply outside of "we're looking into this, we're working through an unusually high number of support requests" is like pulling teeth. Takes several follow up emails per request to resolve any issues. 

Funding times are incredibly slow. Margins are really weak compared to competitors. Their catalog seems to be shrinking and brand availability outside of the US is limited.

Not being able to see the available brands and constantly having to request any new brands to be enabled in our catalog was annoying.

We previously used TangoCard to power most of the gift cards available on our platform (employee recognition SaaS).

Well, there are no downsides to using the Tangocard platform, but I would like to see even more countries included in their Global Choice Link program.

There are absolutely no extra charges for sending rewards, keeping the process cost-effective. The tracking is highly accurate, making it very easy for me to monitor the exact status of every reward sent. The templates are very easy to customize, allowing for a more personal touch.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It is quick and easy to send the reward link to our guests. It is also great to have the ability to track the transaction and see when the guests redeems it or if it needs resent. Any issues that have arisen have been quickly handled by my support team. I use this multiple times a week and will continue to do so. The layout is quick and easy to navigate thru the portal. Would recommend everyone utilizing Tango rewards!

The amount of time it takes to fund the account. I get that it takes time to verify on the intial funding but once it has been done if the funding source stays the same it should be much quicker.

I am able to confidently send my guests rewards and have very little issue with the process.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I loved that Tango was fully embedded and easy to use. The communication feature, allowing me to create personal workflows, was such a nice added touch of professionalism and an amazing resource. I found Tango so helpful once I got started, and it made me wish I could redo my whole research process using it from the start. The ease of use, the Visa function similar to cash, and the experience of my teenagers being paid out with Tango in their projects all stood out positively. I felt that having a Tango representative show me a great demo made the setup easy and smooth, setting me up well for success. Tango also solved vetting process challenges by providing a sense of security with their third-party involvement and the ability to track easily.

I think that I wish I just knew about Tango earlier than later in my research process.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I use Tango to send compensation to participants in my research study for my doctoral program, and it allows me to send direct conversation immediately after the interviews, which is very accessible. The option for participants to select from a variety of cards for compensation is something I value a lot. I like that Tango offers a Visa gift card option without any activation fees for myself or the participants. The setup was reliable, convenient, and easy, with customer service accessible in a timely manner. I find Tango to be an outstanding competitor when considering other options for sending gift cards.

I mean, there is a delay to upload money, like, as a new user or a new account. But other than that, I think those are just checks and balances.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love how quick and easy it is to send gifts with Tango. They have lots of cool gift card options, which makes it simple to find something for everyone. Tango makes it easy to send gifts to people far away, and I don't have to worry about shipping or finding the perfect physical gift. I just pick a card, and they're happy. It was quite easy to use initially.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes it's hard to find the exact gift card I want, and the website can be a bit slow occasionally. For gift cards, maybe Tango could add more popular brands or improve the search feature to find specific cards easily. And also improve their website speed.

Tango makes sending gifts to distant friends and family easy. I don’t stress about shipping or picking physical gifts. It’s quick, and the variety of gift card options is great.

How easy it was to set up - I built my own template, uploaded my list and paid and it was done! When I needed to cancel some rewards that were sent, I was easily able to use the established FAQ to find out how to do it!

The credit card fees are bad, but if you are able to pay via ACH there are no fees and it is super easy to set up!

I use Tango for employee recognition, and it took away the guesswork on researching employee preferences. The options available are incredible, especially for employee spend and quick account funding. I find it nice to just designate an amount and let the employee choose the best stores or companies where the funds are used. Administratively, it is very quick to fund the account, and the backend is very simple. The initial setup was incredibly easy.

Sometimes, the turnaround time for the employee to receive the gift card varies. I've learned to allow 24 hours when possible. The delays normally happen on the weekends.

Well, if I'm being honest, I think the set up process takes an eternity. And the review process should have an approval-scheme in the beginning FIRST before reviewing after an order is submitted.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It was very easy to get set up in, and the initial intro/onboarding call was very insightful and they cared about what I was working on and building, and really understanding how I intended to use Tango. They also provided tips for being successful from the beginning. I enjoyed sending out digital certificates to the beta testers I was working with, and will continue using them within my business and my future.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The first round I sent through of certificates needed to be approved, which only happens on weekdays. I ordered Friday, and it was approved and sent through Monday morning. This isn't a huge deal, and just means I need to plan ahead better...it was almost my first send with them at the time, so that could also be why it needed approval. It's not really something to dislike, just something I hadn't planned for.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a way to incentivize and reward the workers who take the anonymous company-wide audits I run. I wanted a quick and seamless way to do this, and wanted to send out digital certificates...Tango solves this for me and makes it incredibly easy to send these out.

I like the flexibility of awards you can send to employees. The amount modifications and then the end user ability to pick what type of reward they like. Sales and service team members have loved receiving these in the past.

Nothing in particular or monumental - I do understand the need to have processing fees. It would be nice to be able to "earn" you way to get some of these reduced? Or perhaps a subscription model so you can reduce some of that cost.

Providing a way to quickly award employees for great work without the need to shop for gifts, deal with additional payout in pay stubs, etc.

I like the precision and accuracy with customer information that Tango provides. It's super convenient not having to touch each person physically, and having access to each person's information helps us know who received what and when. The initial setup was very easy once they received the PO and check. I also appreciate how straightforward it is to use Tango to give gift cards at a university.

Maybe even more vendors would be nice to have for selections.

I find it a little time-consuming to have to paste a redemption code into Tango from the email. If there was a way to streamline that process, it would be great.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is helping our organization empower managers to provide rewards to employees across the community. Whether it's coffee, meals, delivery services, groceries, retail stores, or paying it forward through charitable donations... There is an option for everyone.  Tango makes it easy to acknowledge individuals for their hard work and contributions!  We use the rewards regularly to provide meals and acknowledgement rewards to our staff.  

I have additionally appreciated the quick customer service responses directly from our Tango representative. I would definitely recommend it!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

As we continue to work with the Tango platform, we have developed various catalogs to fit the needs of the organization. The two recommendations are one that the system should have the ability to schedule rewards to send as early as the next day. This way, one can program the rewards and consider the task completed.  The way it is set up now, one can only schedule rewards to be sent 7 days from the day of the request.

Reporting is one of the challenges that we were looking to solve and with Tango, we can now begin processing the needed reports which solves the challenge.

I love using Tango for spot incentives and recognition. At our small company, we also use it to incentivize referrals—even extending rewards to former employees or contractors who help us out. Instead of the hassle of cutting a check, we can easily issue a Tango reward by email. Recipients love the flexibility: they can redeem it for multiple rewards or even convert it into a Mastercard. For us, it’s simple to administer, and for them, it’s quick and versatile.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

You have to 'pre-load' the account with funds, or set up an ACH, or pay with a credit card (which has another set of rules/fees associated with it) -- since we don't pre-load the account, we pay the credit card processing fee (3%), but that is our choice.

If a contractor is no longer "active" with us, it becomes a hassle to give them a referral bonus, so Tango makes it easy to get a 'reward' card in their hands immediately

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The best thing about Tango is being able to give recipients a reward they can use pretty much anywhere they want, with choices from over 200 retailers, restaurants, and more. It's easy to send a reward link in a customized, branded email that looks professional. That's perfect for rewarding employees, survey takers, and customers. When the recipient receives the link, they go to the Tango portal where they can choose their ideal reward, and follow simple instructions to redeem their reward. I've only sent rewards manually so far, but you can upload a list or even connect it to an API. The customer support has been friendly and helpful in my experience. If you use a bank account to fund your account then there's no added cost to using Tango above the price of the rewards you purchase. If you use a credit card, there is a 3.5% fee.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Tango is easy to set up, but it takes a few days for the process to finish due to legal requirements about verifying the payor. I wish that it were possible to print gift cards with a reward link and maybe a QR code so that we could physically reward customers. Tango recently added physical gift card mailing, but not for the types of cards where customers can choose their own reward.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango helps us reward customers, employees, and survey takers with a reward we know they'll like, because they choose it. Purchasing, sending, and tracking the rewards is easy and we can even see when and what the recipient redeemed their reward for. Having a choice makes the reward feel more rewarding.

Most helpful thing about Tango is ease of use.  Previously, we had to go to a store, select a giftcard, bring back to office, write out a Thank You note, address the envelope and get it in the mail.   Truly, way to many steps and inefficient.   This allows me to get on to more important projects.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Only possible improvement is having Visa giftcards, but I know they charge a ridiculous fee.   Also, was there any Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks cards on there?   Sometimes, we want to just send someone a 'cup of coffee' and either of those vendors would be good for the small $5 giftcards.

I am not aware of any Tango's problem solving.  I've had no problem with the portal.

I enjoyed the ability to set it up, to schedule a send, the ability to see who has used the gift cards, and if they had not, the ability to resend. It is a brand that I know and trust. After having a small technical problem,  my representative was able to help quickly, and it says a lot about her service to the company.

I wish there were an option to see who had opened and used their card in a filter but it wasn't a problem to go through them one by one.

It was very easy to use, i really liked the feature to create email templates that can be customizable. Their staff was super helpful, we met with Sean and he always provided detailed guidance and responded quickly. We used it multiple times and every time it worked great without a trouble.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish there was the ability to send gift certificates for over $500. I had to send multiple for folks that were receiving more than $500.

Having the ability to send gift certificates to multiple people in batch uploads has been tremendously helpful.
