What do you dislike about Tactiq?

Tool is pretty clunky and not accurate. Tried to cancel my account and it told me their team may take 5 days to get back to me and help me cancel. Then tried to disconnect it from my meeting apps and also can't find a way to do that, even though I never set it up as an extension. Absolutely awful UX and then it locks you into using it. "Easiest Way to Transcribe Meetings"

What do you like best about Tactiq?

There are a few things, but probably my favorite feature is the AI-powered summaries. After my meetings, Tactiq gives me a quick summary, highlighting key points and action items. This is amazing, especially if I have back-to-back meetings and don't have time to scribble down detailed notes. The feature I use the most is probably the search function. Instead of listening back to an entire recording to find a specific point, I can just search by keyword within the transcript. For example, the other day a client mentioned a feature they'd like, and I was able to jump straight to that part of the meeting to get all the details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tactiq?

Everything is good but it could be improved like audio is not clear or low audio then It would be better if it don't transcribe the words if it can't reconize the exact word. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tactiq solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used to feel like I was always catching up on follow-up tasks from meetings because my notes were incomplete. Now, because Tactiq creates that record, I'm missing way less information. And, as a team, it's improving collaboration. We can easily share transcripts and summaries, so everyone knows what was discussed even if they couldn't attend the meeting. "The best transcription summary software"

What do you like best about Tactiq?

I actually cannot speak highly enough of this.

I have searched to the ends of the earth for transcription software that could create summaries relevant to a specific thing (i.e. an easy to understand summary of an interview that captures the main significant points, that is in a professional writing style, that remains on topic). I have crafted countless prompts for GPTs and spents hours, days... well months really trying to figure out how to get something to do what Tactiq did for me perfectly, FIRST GO.

The AI is so amazing, I asked for a brief summary - pumped a perfect one paragraph out. Asked for the same info but in a 'moderate to comprehensive' summary and it spat out 5 paragraphs, none of it needlessly repetitive and both the one paragraph and the 5 paragraphs captured the essence of the info I wanted summarised without needing much editing from me.

It has a lot of capabilities, it can register tasks from meetings, it can create emails based on actionable items it detects. I haven't really used it to its full potential, but I have purchased a subscription for myself and every member of my team because got'damn, it's fantastic. Also will do the same for transcripts you already have. I was able to copy across transcripts from another software I use to record and transcribe meetings (before finding tactiq) and it's bananas how easily it did a task that I tried to get chatGPT to assist me with for over an hour. I saved approximately 56 minutes.

Honestly, I want to run it on my phone in the background when I am having general discussions... it would weed out the unnecassary bits and provide me with the relevant details to go away and put into motion!

The list of integrations are endless. I currently just use it to work with teams and any transcripts I have that I upload to it (but so far, every day).

I had to engage with customer support when I first used it, and they were quick to respond to my email and very helpful. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tactiq?

This is being picky - but I have to input something, so I suppose an downside is not having the ability to use it with Teams outside of the browser. The value add it provides exceeds that though, so I honestly don't know if that should detract anyone from using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tactiq solving and how is that benefiting you?

After a while it's hard to discern what information from a meeting is actually worth capturing... what needs to be actioned, what can be forgotten etc. Same goes for any other repetitive tasks (in my case, interviews, reference checks, recruitment related things). This takes a lot of the stress of that away for me, allows me to focus on the work and not worry about the report writing aspect of my role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I believe that we are in a moment where most "AI techs" are overrated, so its pricing is absurd. I am not a paid user, so I only use free transcriptions and then I use ClickUp AI to summarise everything. In fewer words, it is really expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tactiq solving and how is that benefiting you?

A few years ago I started to take notes and create summaries of my meetings for different purposes. This used to take a lot of time and effort. With Tactiq, instead of taking +20% of the meeting duration to arrange that, I am probably only using 5% of the time with the addition of having the full transcription to use for whatever purposes I need.
