**What do you like best about Syncari?**

The fact that Syncari can be operated by a "business technologist" is one of the best features of this product.  While many members of my team have SQL and Python skills (typically needed for data wrangling), Syncari enables someone without those skill sets to be very effective within the platform.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

The only shortcoming I have found with Syncari (mostly early on) was the lack of robust documentation.  Over the past 2 years they have dramatically improved their support library, but there are still some areas in need of additional details.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems do you have?  That is what I can solve with Syncari.  And I am really not kidding.  Once you have unified your data, Syncari enables nearly endless solutions.  Syncari is such a poweerful platform that we have begun building applications within the system, so we can execute various data cleansing and management functions across many clients.

We have also used the platform to create very robust solutions for cklients wanting to extend the capabilities of platforms like Salesforce, etc.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

I like how easy Syncari is to use. It has a simple interface and tools for building integrations without coding. However, you might need to write code to create a custom Synapse in case there isn't one for the system you are integrating. The drag-and-drop feature and pre-built Synapses make it easy to connect and map data. Plus, their support team is great, always quick and helpful their exceptional support has given us a great deal of confidence in Syncari and strengthened our partnership with them.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

What I didn't like was when there was a complex integration that requires to loop on data lists and using decisions it wasn’t supported you can only loop once within the same field pipeline and the decision function would not work with the loop so you will have to do some work around it using another pipeline.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using Syncari for building system integrations and historical data migration for our clients

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

I love how organized the platform is. This is a huge factor in making Syncari so easy to use. Multiple third party applications can be integtated bi directionally within the same pipeline. Not just one of those need to the tirgger for CRUD method, but all can do so. Each of these can have their own condition for loading even though they exist in the same pipeline. Keeping everything consolodated makes it easy to keep track of integrations.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

The pipeline runs once per field, which makes it difficult for batch related data and for creating aggregate related integrations. It has no useful loop actions to achieve this.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping businesses keep their data organized and up to date at all times in the cleanest way possible.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

Syncari makes it very easy to create new tables and sync/merge application data to them. It takes care of all the connection, api, rate limit, retry logic.  It also keeps a log of all updates to the records so you can tell exactly where a value for a field came from.  The merge capability is nice, and it does  have some basic data transformation capability.

It handles large data sets very well.

Also, if you create a unified table, it is trivial to replicate it to some other warehouse (like Snowflake, AWS, etc) if you need to access it there.

The staff at Syncari has been very hlpful whenever I had questions.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

I wish it had more capability for custom data transformations.

Often then is not a roadblack because you can point whatever external tools/code you need at he underlying tables.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Typically it is to ensure consistencey across applicaitons that collect identical data.    This is useful in two areas:  for compliance and to make sure the data is accurate for analysis.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

Syncari felt like an extension of our team! Their user-friendly platform and expert training made complex data integration achievable. From authoring the data architecture to solving each and every hurdle along the way. 

We were able to surface on-premisis data and use it in a tremendouly meaninful way both in Syncari and HubSpot. 

This wasn't just data integration, it was the foundation for our Digital Transformation, enabling data that's transparent, secure, and drives enterprise-wide results!

Not much to add here. They were top-notch.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncari solved a complex integration between on-prem MS-SQL and HubSpot, among other enterprise integrations. They are ultimately responsible for being the source and hub for all our data integrations moving forward.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

Our marketing, sales, and product teams are now have a source of truth. Which was a big problem when it came to solving attribution down the funnel (marketing attributable pipeline, product-qualified leads, etc). We loved that Syncari pipelines and workflows were able to bridge the data gaps between Postgres, HubSpot, and Amplitude. Which enhanced our reporting capabilities, and offered richer context for sales & marketing to leverage product data for more relevant and targeted outbound campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

The tool can be somewhat intimidating at first glance. So new users, once onboarded by Syncari's CS team (which is amazing), may require a bit of time to become fully proficient using the tool.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncari bridges the communication gap between our product, marketing, and sales teams. It seamlessly integrates data across platforms like Amplitude (for marketing), Postgres (for product), and HubSpot (for sales), ensuring smooth data exchange where traditional integrations fall short. When we can measure conversion at every step, we know where we need to prioritize time and money spent.

Syncari was super knowledgeable about many data types and not only could solve the problem, but listened to our whole case and then offered ideas and made sure it aligned to what we wanted, rather than putting us into a box that worked for them.

The only thing I disliked about Syncari was that I was not able to find them sooner.

Syncari is critical to our move to HubSpot as they are taking data from  2 ERP systems as well as some other csv data sets to make it into one.

Syncari is fast to create connections to key platforms, importing the data and be able to make decisions on how to transfer it between platforms without error is a clear process.

Creating custom integrations is a longer process but the team are still very helpful to resolve this.

Syncari removes the need for manual out of platform processes but also helps identify gaps in current platform data. Using Syncari means we do not need to build custom API integrations with all the additional challenges and resource needed.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

Imagine a data orchestration platform the can sync Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot, Snowflake, Pendo.io, Atlassian Jira, Google Sheets, Zendesk and many other platforms. With syncing running every minute... you don't have to imagine, it's available today with Syncari.

If I was building a new SaaS business today, and started thinking about what the martech stack would look like… before buying a CRM, MAP, DW. I would start with the data model first, rather than years down the road as most SaaS companies do. Then I would research an iPaaS type platform as the base and build up from there. There’s a world of them out there too. My preference is one that is thinking 360view first. Extra points for building a place to centralize all your relevant prospect, customer and product data too with self service — without having to pay for additional licenses just for report viewing.

Down the road as your business grows and you need to migrate to a larger or different CRM, MAP etc… then your migration can occur in weeks instead of months or years. Looking to be acquired, or acquire other businesses? You can easily sync their CRM, MAP, DW and again, migrate their data into your unified platform relatively easily. Or vice versa!

As I mentioned above, even better is a platform that easily connects into most BI tools or has BI built-in.

Experienced data folks know the above is MDM. They all dread MDM when it comes in after the fact, often rightly so. However, the last few years we’ve seen a renaissance of MDM, simply because it’s finally being done right. Finally leveraging no-code functionality to support the business user.

Marketing operations teams are now being tasked with, or driving the projects themselves - to do MDM right.

Without MDM you get a mishmash of siloed operational flows being built by different teams across your individual platforms. Think about your stack today. You’ve got in-app analytics, map, crm, content attribution touchpoints, web analytics, prospect email cadences, customer email cadences, operational emails, enrichment and intent data. In many cases these aren’t connected.

If you could offload all your operational flows into a single platform instead of many, then have that data synced back across all your departmental platforms… that would be transformational! Even better, it's available today with Syncari.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

With all that potential in a platform, it does come with a steep learning curve and takes time to show value. It's a no-code data orchestration platform, but it does require you to understand your data model. You can't jump right in, start connecting systems and pull all your data into there to transform and sync across systems. Well, actually – you can. And that's a problem. It's really easy to connect everything, pull data in, then you have a lot of choice of what you can do. 

You can't forget that a platform like this requires you to think differently about your data. Sure, you can use it just like any other integration platform and connect a few systems and be done with it. But the potential with it, is to go beyond just what your data warehouse and etl tools offer. 

Syncari puts the data in the hands of the business user and often, business users don't have the background to build out data projects. That kind of planning, onboarding and implementation requires some serious hand holding. For organizations that have data science teams entrenched in their processes, rolling out Syncari is going to require change management along with project management. However, for companies starting out, it's a great opportunity. They can build their data model and reporting right away inside of Syncari and not be faced with cultural or technical debt that legacy teams may face.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m seeing a lot of discussion around indentityresolution at the datawarehouse level. Essentially creating the mythical 360 view of the customer. Except this isn’t a new thing. Syncari has been doing this for the last few years. Skip the headaches and costs of managing a data warehouse and connect your product data to Syncari or use the native Pendo.io integration (synapse). Beyond this, we have projects in the works to sync Zendesk, JIRA, our ERP, our CRM, our MAP and raw data imports directly into Syncari. Eventually we'll phase out the pervious reporting view platform and leverage the BI reporting in Syncari that's built on our synced and unified data.

Syncari has allowed our RevOps team to better align our product's data to our revenue processes and systems. Without having to go through a lengthy engineering backlog, we can de-dupe, standardize, and unify product data to then pass to our revenue teams. 

Syncari's onboarding and support has been top-notch, and it feels like they really do listen to their customers when it comes to launching new improvements.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

The learning curve is steep. It took me a good amount of time to get comfortable with launching something on my own after onboarding.

At times it seems like there's five different ways to solve something, and I end up finding one that works, but I'm not always sure if it's the best way.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncari is allowing our RevOps teams to take greater ownership of our company's data to dedupe and standardize it, and then pass that clean data to any system used by the revenue department. With Syncari, our team is able to bypass a lengthy engineering queue for data requests and enhancements and make data pipelines that align best with our revenue process. We are able to easily unify our product data with our sales data to create single records of truth while also layering in product usage data to indicate potential for expansion.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

It's got the horsepower we need. Tools often claim to have all the power, functionality, sophistication you could ever want. Syncari is the only revenue tool I've used that has actually delivered on that promise. Given the importance of our revenue data, ease of use is a nice to have (not that Syncari is hard to use) but the key is power, flexability, and reliability, and that's where Syncari shines.

Syncari requires an individual dedicated to setting up and maintaining the tool (and someone who has the ability and time to ramp up on how to use it) but exactly what I would expect for a tool of it's functionality.

Syncari cleans/standardizes/de-dupes all our most important data, and then puts that data anywhere we want (into salesforce, into hubspot, into slack, etc).

We are getting to the point where we need to start combining data between CRM, customer engagement platform, and in-product data. Syncari makes it really seamlesss to unify the data together. It makes dashboarding easy, and automated workflows based on combined metadata a breeze.

My favorite thing about Syncari is the low-code solution for existing connectors. I enjoy creating the pipelines in table view. It's an amazing solution!

Syncari needs to increase the number of connectors they have. Even though they have an SDK, I'm looking forward to the Workday connector!

We integrated Slack, Stripe, and HubSpot for a client and it was a great experience! I am definitely more productive and Syncari replaces an engineering team.

I like that it allows us to create, manipulate, and automate data pushes to our core systems without relying on IT to build the code directly within them.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

While we are newer to Syncari, and haven't ironed out our internal ownership model just yet, the product seems a bit more complicated for non-IT users than anticipated. We are having challenges with enablement and understanding the ins and outs of it to be self-sufficient vs. currently being completely reliant on Syncari for to support managing and maintenance.

Syncari has automated manual operational processes such as populating the parent account from D&B as well as territory values based on the territory assigned in territory management.

Syncari was a game-changer for us.  When native integrations and third-party apps did not cut it, Syncaryi blew us out of the water.

Fantastic support and implementation.

The UI takes some getting used to.  Once you understand it, it's best to keep using it so you don't forget.

We needed a clear way connect Salesforce with Jira...to allow Product/R&D to communicate with sales on issues and new product features.  With Syncari we now do that in real time.

The Syncari team is awesome to work with and the ability to create connectors with tools that don't have direct integrations you need, enables light ETL, etc. are game changers.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

When there's not already built connectors or functionality build out of net new can take a little time. However, that's understandable given that they're having to go build it. Just need to budget for that build time.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to be able to move your data around, combine it, do light ETL functions with it, and make it visible through reporting and dashboards using their BI layer is incredible.

There is an extensive scope of use cases you can solve using Syncari, especially if more than one tool is involved in keeping data standardized and at the same level.

As you can develop highly complex processes, understanding how the platform works can be hard at first glance.

Lead creation from different webHooks while deduping them in case there were already existing records in our SFDC Org, searching in both Leads and Contacts objects.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

Syncari allows us to connect disparate systems across the Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations Tech Stacks.  But just connecting these systems is not the definition of success for us.  We have to move, normalize, edit, change, and write this data across all these systems.   We use Syncari like a Unified Data Platform (UDP) to be our tool to connect data across our enterprise systems.  The main requirement in vetting Syncari was to ensure that operations professionals had to be able to build, manage, and maintain the platform.  Therefore, it had to be headless, codeless, and simple to use.  Syncari provides all these and the operations teams, not IT, successfully executes with Syncari.  It allows us to move much faster, be more agile, and accomplish data projects with far more scope and reach.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

There is nothing major.  One nit-picky dislike is the limited integration/synapse library.  However, with some effort, my team was able to build custom synapses to connect platforms outside of the current synapse library.  Since the size of the library grows each month/year, this is a minor gripe and will improve over time.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using multiple Salesforce and Snowflake instances, Marketo, Gainsight, and other data usage platforms across our enterprise.  Syncari provides the ability to connect, normalize, and sync data across these systems.  Ultimately, we need to connect Marketing, Sales, Customer, and Usage data to allow the entire team to have a holistic view of our customer journey. We finally have a tool that we can use at scale to perform this function for our enterprise.

The no-code platform is amazing. It has helped us bring valuable data to the fingertips of the users when and where they need it. We're too small a company to look at a code-based, expensive solution which would require full-time dedicated resources.

The platform can do so much, it's tough to know where and how to start. Luckily the onboarding and customer success team can hand-hold throughout the process. Managed services has also been incredibly helpful in streamlining processes.

We were able to take customer usage data from our primary business platform and get the data into Salesforce. With that data we created customer health scores. Those scores help us to predict upsell opportunities and get in front of potential churn. We also used the information to help refine our ICP to customers likely to renew/upsell, not just win the first deal.

Our clients are primarily in healthcare and work in very specific EHR systems.  While Syncari is HIPAA compliant, they don’t yet have connectors built for some of these systems. For now, we’ll be using their SDK to bridge that gap.

We’re using Syncari’s Embed offering to augment Botco.ai’s conversational AI platform with data management, sync and orchestration for our end customers. Now, leads, contacts, and insights generated from our AI-driven chat experiences can be automatically normalized, deduplicated and synced across any EHR, CRM or Ticketing System that our customers have.  This accelerates product adoption and ultimately helps us deliver better customer experiences.

It allows our Support team to see sales and account information directly in Zendesk using the Organization fields, our Professional Services team manages their engagements with Asana and Harvest and we bring that data to Salesforce for a more complete view of the customer lifecycle.

It allows to unify data from different sources.
If you have multiple CRMs it sorts and matches the data between them automagically.
It can also connect to external sources like Google Sheets, database, etc.

The setup process can be quite tedious.
It requires the admin to know what he is doing and to take decisions on any field separately.
Also, if you don't filter your incoming records you may end up in overages pretty quickly.

This is a great tool if you have multiple CRMs to sync together.
It also a great solution for import data from sources like Snowflake Database or Google Sheets.

I like the visual representation of the data connections that make it easy to know where data is being passed and which direction. It's also very easy to map new fields within an existing object connection. If I have any issues, the Syncari team was great to get involved to help resolve.

I wish that I could sync attachment data from one system to the next, but that may be a limitation of the systems that I'm connecting. I'm also not sure how to troubleshoot connections very well on my own, but as I mentioned, the Syncari team was very responsive and helpful.

Just look at their list of pre-built connections and if the system you need is on there, you will likely have a good experience.

Ability to create a master data model for critical tables, easy to use no code wrapper to manage rules and settings, auditability, visual interface, good customer support for ramp up. This was easy enough for a commercial team to setup. Significant assistance provided by Syncari on board team.

Nothing really - just the fact that Syncari is a disruptive start up in a space dominated by large enterprise logos may require additional buy-in and extended POC trials with internal cross functional groups.

We use multiple systems, so having a single place to define master data model without duplicate business rules that can then be propagated through different systems is helpful.

Besides creating and managing master data model, i see use cases for data enrichment and lead routing using other services such as Zoominfo, Sales Intel etc as a plus.

Easy to configure and create workflows to help clean up and organize the data across different systems we use. Between Marketing and Sales, every other week we are finding new use cases we can solve using Syncari to try to improve our data overall.

Nothing right now. They continue to roll out new features quickly and UX design continues to get better making it easier to navigate and create "pipelines" as they call it.

Think big, start small. Find a couple of use cases to solve and you should be able to start getting value out of it within a couple of days, then grow from there.

Initially, we were solving just basic standarization and normalization of data. Now we are using it to enrich our data and write the rules for each field as to where the enrichment comes from. We're also looking to see what other triggers and data flows we can make simpler using Syncari that we've historically had to customize in SFDC/Marketo to get done.

Our experience with Syncari's customer success team was extremely positive. We built the sync ourselves  (Salesforce <--> Netsuite) with some assistance from their side. They helped us think through our business requirements abd were available whenever we had questions or issues configuring new processes or synapses. T

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

The online documentation could be easier to find/search. There are some good videos available, but they are actively working to improve the documentation and build a community around the product to make it more self-serve.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncari has allowed us to easily sync data and processes across order management, invoicing, accounts receivable and payment collection. This has massively improved our bookeeping/reconciliation processes, which used to take us upward of 2 weeks to complete on each transaction. We have eliminated accounting errors and delays from manual data entry/reporting and mapping accounts between systems. As a result we've cut our order to cash process downto just 4 days and working on the next iteration of automations to close that cycle further.

It's great for syncing and updating data between systems. E.g. if a contact changes in your Airtable Syncari keeps it updated in Active Campaign. It's very robust and customizable.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

It's a bit heavy to set up. Need to dedicate weekly hour+ long sessions with a success manager to start implementing and learning how to use it. I'm used to Zapier and it's not a linear set up like setting up Zaps. That being said, the customer support is stellar.

It's a great tool to keep your data synced between platforms. There are also other integrations you can add such as integrating Clearbit to enrich users

Syncari gives us the tools we need, all in one place, to unify data from our core systems of record, improve data quality, and automate cross-system workflows from a no-code UI.  We’re no longer beholden to IT or independent contractors to deliver on our operations roadmap, which really helps us move faster.


I also like that the value we get from Syncari is cumulative.  Every project builds on the one before it. The data policies and automations we create for one use case can be applied across related data in our next use case, potentially with an entirely different set of data sources.  This gives us better control over our data today and the confidence to change with speed in the future.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

If you’re used to working with things like Zapier or Tray, you have to retrain your brain a bit to get productive with Syncari.  And as a new company, they don’t have a catalog of training programs or a vibrant community yet.  That being said, the customer success and support team is top-notch.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The initial problem Syncari helped us solve was getting Jira and Salesforce in sync.  With Syncari, we’re now automatically creating accounts in Jira the second an opportunity is closed won and approved, which has streamlined our onboarding process.  Before Synacri, this was a 9-12 step manual process that sometimes took days to complete.


We’ve also unified ticket data across Salesforce and Jira.  Our account managers and AE’s are now using this unified data to better serve customers by providing proactive updates on feature requests, support requests and delivered fixes.  Our next project is to bring product data into the Syncari, which, when combined with the data we already have from Salesforce and Jira, will give us unprecedented visibility into customer health.

**What do you like best about Syncari?**

This platform is incredibly robust. They've thought of so many automated use cases to help ops folks unify and normalize data across the ecosystem. Actions like deduplicating across your entire stack, converting leads in salesforce that should be contacts, or looking up incomplete or improperly formated information to normalize across the ecosystem. These are easy functions/transformations in theory but would be a lot of scripting to do internally. With Syncari, there's no code, just canvassing pipelines with transformations/actions and pushing "publish".

Also, if there's a use case they haven't thought of their engineering team is lightning-fast to solution with you. 

The best part... once you set up a pipeline and various transformations/actions, it's pretty much set it and forget it. That pipeline runs in the background and you carry on about your day. It's big time savings, especially if you have a fragmented ops focus.

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

With so many capabilities, there's a lack of documentation for everything so folks can self-serve, or revisit concepts from onboarding. But I know they are playing catch up because the product team has rolled out a lot with this platform. In the beginning, the platform is a bit esoteric but their support teams really spend the time to get you up to speed on how to build out pipelines. Once you've had a few rounds with onboarding and success, the practice becomes easy.

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a lean team and don't have dedicated ops personnel. We use syncari to automate processes that help unify and normalize data across our martech stack. Processes like deduplication, convert leads that should be contacts on certain accounts, and enrich/complete records where we have information gaps. This gives us a clean dataset for our GTM team to use in understanding intent, targeting, analysis, and uncovering trends.

Ease of use and the data pipeline visuals. I've carried direct responsibility for ops across many systems for years and having an easy visual of the flows of data through systems has been so helpful. Data governance is a huge headache for just about every organization and understanding what is connected to what, and also in centralizing many of our processes is super helpful. (Particularly when I know everyone struggles to keep Ops documentation up to date.) 

The team is the absolute best!

**What do you dislike about Syncari?**

Initial implementation and having to build all the pipelines upfront is a bit of a drag but unavoidable. Would love if it could do some automated discovery of existing processes between systems or identify existing workflows. (That might be asking a bit much of any system though!)

**What problems is Syncari solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At a previous company, we ran into multiple issues with maxing out our API limits from Marketo-SFDC and all the custom engineering work needed to pull in data from our proprietary system into our Sales/Marketing stack. Projects were frequently deprioritized and often put on hold when we had to involve engineering and any change in the process often ended up breaking multiple workflows downstream. Which many teams did with out thought to how their changes in SFDC would affect other things. We added Syncari there to stop all the madness and mess of various integrations and API calls and overloading the system, so I knew that it would be a great tool to help build a scalable foundation as we added additional complexity to our marketing-sales-cs tech stacks at my new company.  

The data visualizations help save hours of troubleshooting or determining the downstream impact of changes. We are starting at my current company by setting up our enrichment flows there rather than having to add tons of logic over multiple processes and flows in other systems, which will make it a lot easier to update if/when we decide to switch tools or need to add complex logic. It has also given us a great overview of our data quality and some of the gaps there. The Syncari team has been so great to work with on our implementation, and have and the tool is really easy to use with the drag and drop.
