"A Clean, Safe Way for Sales to Demo Software Early"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Enables a clean way for sales team members to safely demo products without waiting for solutions or engineering to become involved. It also provides potential clients with a real feel of the software early in the journey. I would say very good value at the starter level compared to other systems we looked at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

I had some issues trying to convert video into a real guided demo - would be good if this functionality was available also; enabling the conversion of older material faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful Interactive Demos and Fair Pricing, but Needs Deeper Workflow Tools"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Interactive demos are a helpful way to showcase the deal when reps are not available.

The HubSpot integration is decent.

Overall the product is priced reasonably which adds to the value of the product.

Support has been good whenever I have reached out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

I would like to see a wider suite of tools built from it. Possibly a workflow tool that includes emailing and sequencing that integrates more deeply with our CRM to send emails at specific points in our sales funnel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, AI-powered, and powerful: Storylines & Voice-Overs created in a flash"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Easy operation of the tool and creation of story lanes. Good integration into the browser and fast automatic creation of voice overs and story lanes via AI. Powerful product for creating, for example, tutorials, instructions, or demos of products, including quick and easy creation. 90% always reliable and only rarely problems. Fast and good support for problems, as well as a helpful FAQ and documentation. Price is completely acceptable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

Individual pages are sometimes lost and need to be recreated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Storylane is user friendly and efficient!"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

It allows modifications without having to redo my work and without having to send a new link. When I weigh the cost against how much we use it and how often, I feel it's a good value for what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

Some of the editing and design functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptionally Easy to Learn with Smooth Onboarding and Superior Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Storylane is exceptionally easy to learn. You can go from a first-time user to a power user very quickly. If you’re worried about how long it takes to learn a new piece of software, that’s not an issue with Storylane. The onboarding is smooth, and the support is superior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

This is a minor issue, but I was initially confused by the concept of chapters. Some additional help text or more supportive guidance around how chapters work would make it clearer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great Tool for Creating Interactive, Self-Service Training"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Storylane makes it incredibly easy to turn our platform into a clear, interactive How-To Library. I love that I can break more complex features into simple step-by-step demos, organize them into chapters, and update them as our product evolves. It gives users a hands-on way to learn without needing someone to walk them through every feature individually. The customization and branding options have also helped us make the experience feel like a true extension of our product rather than a separate training tool. The value has been strong for us. It saves significant time by allowing us to create reusable, self-service training instead of repeatedly walking users through the same features live. As our platform and How-To Library continue to grow, I expect the value to increase even more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

The biggest downside for me is that some of the customization and editing can feel a little clunky. As demos get longer, managing individual steps, reorganizing content, and keeping everything consistent can become time-consuming. I’d also really love the ability to create subchapters within a demo or How-To Library. Having another level of organization would make it much easier to group related content and create a cleaner, more intuitive learning experience for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforms Sign-Ups with Ease and AI-Powered Demos"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

I like that Storylane helps better educate website visitors about our offerings and automates to help us build faster. The product marketer finds it easy to use, and its integration with Slack is seamless. I appreciate the alerts that notify us when a lead visits. The AI features allow us to create an interactive demo that runs on our website twenty-four seven. Storylane is very easy to set up and works great for a team of about thirty-five people, and I think even bigger teams can use it. Plus, using Storylane saves us money on content production and increases our conversion rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

I think it's pretty good right now. A slightly better mobile version, but that's all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Storylane Makes Interactive Product Demos Fast and Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Storylane is a helpful tool for quickly building interactive product demos and guided walkthroughs. It cuts down the effort needed to set up demo environments, which makes it easier to prepare for sales conversations and customer presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

The platform is intuitive, but advanced customization and managing larger demo collections can sometimes require extra effort. A few workflows could be more streamlined for first-time users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
