"All-in-One, Reliable CRM That’s Easy to Deploy and Adopt"
4/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

As a Business Technology Specialist supporting internal operations at Big Sky Digital Partners, the best part about HubSpot Smart CRM by far is its all-in-one usability and out-of-the-box reliability, which makes my tool deployment and internal workflow optimization work way easier. We’re a mid-sized tech services team without dedicated IT staff for daily tool management, so I’m fully in charge of software setup, permission configuration, system testing, and cross-team workflow tuning. HubSpot stands out because it’s intuitive, consistent, and requires way less custom troubleshooting than other CRMs I’ve implemented for our internal sales and service teams.

My favorite real-world benefit is how balanced its core functionality is for daily team adoption. A lot of enterprise CRMs are either overly bloated with unused features or too basic to support structured team workflows. HubSpot hits the perfect middle ground. Earlier this quarter, I was tasked with standardizing our internal lead tracking and client follow-up workflows for our sales and account teams. I was able to quickly build custom deal stages, set up role-based user permissions, and automate basic follow-up tasks directly inside HubSpot. I didn’t need any advanced technical knowledge or outside support to get everything fully configured and rolled out to our entire team within a week.

I also really appreciate HubSpot’s native reporting and data organization capabilities. Part of my job is evaluating tool performance and documenting operational pain points. HubSpot lets me pull clean pipeline reports, track team engagement activity, and identify workflow bottlenecks with zero complicated setup. For example, after I restructured our deal pipeline, I used HubSpot’s built-in dashboards to compare conversion rates before and after the update, then shared clear, actionable operational insights with our leadership team.

On top of that, its import/export structure and data mapping are extremely stable. I regularly handle bulk CSV data migration and record cleanup for internal system updates. Unlike other tools that glitch out or lose field data during imports, HubSpot consistently processes large datasets accurately, which saves me hours of manual validation and error fixing every month.

Overall, HubSpot’s dependable, user-friendly design makes internal tool management far less stressful. It speeds up my system deployment work, boosts cross-team workflow consistency, and gives our staff a reliable CRM they actually want to use day-to-day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Smart CRM?

The biggest pain point for me is the cost wall around advanced customization. Simple fields and basic automations work fine, but as soon as we need more granular conditional logic, complex custom objects, or nested permission rules, we’re pushed into much higher pricing tiers. A few months ago I tried to build a workflow that would auto-tag client records based on multiple service attributes and contract renewal dates. The basic automation tools couldn’t handle those layered conditions, and upgrading just to unlock that capability would blow our software budget. In the end, I had to put together a messy workaround using Google Sheets to sync data back and forth, which added extra manual checks and ongoing overhead to my workload.

Bulk data operations have their own frustrating quirks. I regularly run CSV imports to update hundreds of client records at once. The mapping step is straightforward enough, but with larger batches HubSpot sometimes fails to update certain custom field entries without any clear warning. The error messages are vague and don’t tell me exactly which rows failed or what specific value triggered the problem. That leaves me spending hours spot-checking records after every import just to make sure our client data stays accurate.

I’m also disappointed by how rigid the report builder is. Leadership often asks for customized operational reporting that combines pipeline metrics, ticket response times, and client contract data, but HubSpot’s native dashboards don’t make it easy to join those different datasets into one view. I end up exporting separate datasets and merging them manually to create the complete picture they’re looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive All-in-One CRM with Native Meeting Records"
5/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I like how intuitive HubSpot Smart CRM is. It has an easy user interface, and people I add to my team can easily come in and adapt. Each object has the same record layout, which makes it really intuitive to navigate. I also appreciate how transparent it is about where the information is and how security is held. It gives me a single pane of glass for my business, from referrals and leads through the sales process and service fulfillment. I really enjoy using the HubSpot notetaker with deal progression to document my meetings directly in the CRM. Having the recordings natively in HubSpot is invaluable because I know I will have access to the meeting recordings, notes, and details as long as I am a HubSpot customer. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I'm a little nervous about some upcoming functionality that would have AI automatically update the CRM. I haven't used it yet, so I can't speak to it, but it is making me a little nervous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Flexible CRM, but Null Values Can Break Calculations"
5/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I like how flexible HubSpot Smart CRM is. I can create different custom objects, put things where I want them, and customize pages and views for different objects. I can associate contacts with custom objects, which is important. It keeps things organized and makes things easier for people to use. It’s intuitive and easy to train people on. No matter how complicated my business is, I can do it in HubSpot and customize it to solve problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I sometimes have problems with equations when a value is null. Instead of treating it as zero, it doesn’t generate an equation for the calculations. For anything more advanced in the setup, I need technical help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be challenging to keep the team up to date, as releases happen so frequently, so everyone is actually using the newest functionality available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Prospect Tracking and Automations, With API Caveats"
4/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I like that HubSpot Smart CRM has both a mobile app and a web app, where I can keep track of all this information. It’s very easy to use, and I can set up very nice automations. From the client side, it works perfectly; it’s very accessible and reliable. Setup was relatively easy, and if you know the basics of a CRM, it was super easy to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I find that, at times, the API-level developer experience is not always that good with the JSON responses. From the client side, though, it works perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful and flexible CRM for scaling Revenue Operations"
5/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

The flexibility. HubSpot Smart CRM allows us to centralize data and processes across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams while adapting the platform to different business needs.

Its automation capabilities, custom objects, reporting, integrations, and growing AI features make it much more than a traditional CRM. It has become a key source of truth across our revenue organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Smart CRM?

As the CRM scales, governance can become challenging. Properties, workflows, permissions, and integrations can grow quickly, so maintaining a clean and reliable instance requires strong ownership and ongoing governance.

Some advanced capabilities also have platform or subscription limits that need to be considered when designing processes at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Contact Management with Easy Assignments and Notes"
4/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I like that it holds all our contacts and we can assign AE’s and sales people per contact. I like that we can fill in notes on people. I like that it hosts everything so we don’t need outside platforms and we can do everything in the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I hate the process of uploading lists of people. We go to 30 tradeshows a year and I want to be able to easily upload people, split the list of thousands of companies not people but companies in sections so I can assign each sales rep a section and then I want to be able to assign the lead to a conference but sometimes we have the same lead from multiple conferences so I want to be able to list all the conferences we have seen each lead from to see who keeps popping up and who is new. "Easy-to-Use CRM That Unifies Teams and Customer Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

I like that HubSpot Smart CRM is easy to use. When new products launch, it’s easy for me to catch on and it doesn’t set me back. I love Breeze, and it’s easy for new team members to catch on to. I like how Breeze can pull from all parts of the CRM, from small tasks like adding a contact to bigger tasks like helping create a plan for a prospect. It helps us stay on the same page, see customer interactions and the sales prospect journey, and market to the right people because we have all the information in one spot. It was also easy to move our data from Nutshell with a few imports and exports, and we had a great person helping with the transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Contact Tracking and Integrations, But Costs Rise with Advanced Features"
3.5/5
What do you like best about HubSpot Smart CRM?

From an events and community perspective, HubSpot is especially useful for organizing contact data, segmenting audiences, tracking engagement, and making sure we have a clear history of our interactions with both prospects and customers. The integrations also make it much easier to connect HubSpot with the other platforms we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Smart CRM?

The biggest downside is that the platform can get expensive as your needs grow, especially once you start adding more advanced features or higher-tier functionality. There are also times when something that seems like it should be a simple customization requires a workaround or a higher subscription level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
