Spott gained traction by offering lifetime licenses and engaging users to provide feedback and reviews, building trust and a loyal customer base. However, after the company was sold, all access for these users was cut off entirely. Revoking access from customers who had invested in lifetime licenses is not only a breach of trust but also a glaring example of poor business ethics. Such practices undermine confidence in the brand and set a troubling precedent for how companies handle their most committed users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike most about Spott is their complete disregard for their loyal customers. After initially selling lifetime licenses and gathering user feedback to improve the platform, they cut off access entirely once the company was sold. This kind of behavior not only feels like a betrayal of trust but also highlights a lack of integrity in their business practices. It’s disappointing to see a company prioritize short-term gains over honoring their commitments to long-term users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
