Unfortunately at this point not much since they sold out to another company who just absorbed the product and left all of the users hanging without suffient notice.

that it absolutely does not work or exist anymore

**Recommendations to others considering Spott:**

If you are selling a product or service and want to improve conversions and engagment, this tool is a great option. Understanding how it works it vital to creating optimal creatives to take full advantage of spotts power, but the customer service is helpful, and the platform is pretty easy to use.

Now im not solving any problems because they sold out and left their users hanging

**What do you like best about Spott?**

Spott gained traction by offering lifetime licenses and engaging users to provide feedback and reviews, building trust and a loyal customer base. However, after the company was sold, all access for these users was cut off entirely. Revoking access from customers who had invested in lifetime licenses is not only a breach of trust but also a glaring example of poor business ethics. Such practices undermine confidence in the brand and set a troubling precedent for how companies handle their most committed users.

**What do you dislike about Spott?**

What I dislike most about Spott is their complete disregard for their loyal customers. After initially selling lifetime licenses and gathering user feedback to improve the platform, they cut off access entirely once the company was sold. This kind of behavior not only feels like a betrayal of trust but also highlights a lack of integrity in their business practices. It’s disappointing to see a company prioritize short-term gains over honoring their commitments to long-term users.

**Recommendations to others considering Spott:**

They deliver what they advertise. It is easy to work with, and it is easy to setup. The rest is up to our creativity. We can do wonderful things with it. Also really interesting for showcasing products inside videos.

**What problems is Spott solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spott initially provided a platform that allowed users to create interactive and engaging content, which was highly beneficial for enhancing audience engagement and driving conversions. However, when they abruptly cut off access for users who had purchased lifetime licenses, all of the work created on the platform was lost. This sudden action not only nullified the value of the tools they offered but also caused significant disruptions for businesses that had integrated Spott into their workflows. Instead of solving problems, their decision created new ones, leaving users scrambling to rebuild lost content elsewhere.

The use of spott is very simple and the impact is immediately. works for video and images.

**What do you dislike about Spott?**

As already mentioned directly to customer service; I dislike the fact, that credits are consumed also for mouse over.

**What do you like best about Spott?**

It's relatively easy to set up and user friendly; I didn't even read the documentation and managed to set up interactive videos and photos in less than 15 minutes flat. Your videos, graphics and PDF's are hosted on Spott's content delivery network (CDN), which is excellent as this saves us a lot on hosting costs.

**What do you dislike about Spott?**

Only limited interactive style options are available, which could be greatly enhanced and expanded. The UI for the app should also be upgraded for greater user experience and usability. Some of the interactive features require knowledge of CSS which could be daunting for those who are not familiar with it.

**Recommendations to others considering Spott:**

Get this app to improve your online marketing and promotions activities!

**What problems is Spott solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I bought this app in Sept 2020 to be used in my company's marketing and promotional activities. I was really surprised that engagements and click-through rates have skyrocketed by 70% using the interactive features with our videos, graphics and PDF's.

**What do you like best about Spott?**

The customizable hotspots will forever change how the musical artists I work with can make money off of a new music release campaign. Very cost-effective!

**What do you dislike about Spott?**

Initially it took me a while to understand the full width of customizable options. However, they do have a very useful library of templates.

**What problems is Spott solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm helping new fans explore the world of my artists. The Hotspots in the video content makes it much easier to tell a story around the artists, maintain a core brand context before sending the fans out to the various platforms they use for consumption.

- it has somewhat a learning curve but with time its fine

**What problems is Spott solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first I didn't really know about the use case and was even questioning it. Like who would want to have this on the webpage because I ve never seen such thing being used. Yes it's true that this may come with more interaction with leads and customers but still I had my doubts.
Surprisingly it is well used by visitors and people actually click in the spots.

As a designer, I really love to think a little outside the box with this product. Yes, it has great marketing applications, but think of all the things you can do with Spott in the education space. It is a super user-friendly tool for non-technical users and I love it.

**What do you dislike about Spott?**

Overall I do think the UX and UI could still be improved. Perhaps a few more customisation options for products could be added, but I really like the simplicity of the product as well.

**What problems is Spott solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for educational purposes in my courses. It offers a nice addition to my Learning Management System when I want to explain things more visually. My students really appreciate that.

**What do you like best about Spott?**

It's so easy to differentiate our e-commerce stores from the rest. Users get a modern, closer look at the products offered, bringing them closer to the brick and mortar experience. Adding interactive elements to videos and static pictures gives a much better experience.

**What do you dislike about Spott?**

Not much; everything we need is really there. The only thing is that there's no direct integration with WooCommerce (with a 2-way sync option). Therefore, until then, you need to do it manually and keep track of changes in the web store.

**Recommendations to others considering Spott:**

At the beginning, I'd use Spott on specific, well-implemented campaigns only, rather than permanent display, as costs are high if little ROI is obtained.

Clients get a modern, closer look at products offered, bringing them closer to the brick and mortar experience: they can literally interact with otherwise static content, by being able to click on items within a video or picture.

Spott is an amazing app for brands to optimize their online presence. The app really helped me increase my ROI as my ads became interactive and I could measure the success of each campaign. If you're looking for a way to improve your social media campaigns, Spott is the perfect solution.

At first, it was difficult for me to set up the ads because I did not quite understand the platform, but with all the improvements they have made in recent weeks, it is much more intuitive.

The dev team is very much active and they are making updates which makes user complain less.

Anyone looking to revamp their traditional digital marketing/sales to new level, SPOTT is worth trying.

It in many cases nullifies the need of many pages to achieve more sales.
The interative modules help a user to pick and chose what they like/want/need form the same screen or media.
