**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

I partnered with ENPLUG and built digital signage integrator on their solution.  
The reason is a sum of factors, like an easy-to-use dashboard, auto content generation, a variety of different apps, that are able to cover almost any client request. 

One of the most significant benefits I have realized, Enplug provide fantastic clients service!

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

I’ve spent 10 years building this integrator company, customer by customer, with a churn rate under 3%. That’s a rare achievement — it represents not only revenue but trust, reputation, and real relationships.

And then, without notice or any chance to prepare, Spectrio shut off an entire line of business. They explained OFAC compliance and the open invoices — and I accept that compliance is non-negotiable. But the way it was done — abrupt, no consultation, no orderly transition — erased years of work in one stroke.

What hurts more is the response tone. I tried to propose cooperation: account-based outreach, complementary hardware, building pipeline — a model where we add value instead of competing. Instead of exploring that, I got a flat “No thank you.” After a decade of partnership, that dismissal feels cold.

So yes — what comes through in my words is frustration, disappointment, and hurt. I kept it professional, but it was still deeply personal.

If you are ready to turn on supersonic mode for a marketing campaign and digital signage system, Enplug should be the best choice.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

Spectrio offers excellent services at an excellent price! There is no comparison of the savings we get from this product! competitors in our area change over 5x the price. Spectrio's video-on-demand service allows us to keep our patients up-to-date on everything new happening in our clinic.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

There are sometimes delays in the updates showing on the lobby TV. This isn't a dealbreaker but you do have to remember to update the queue well before you need the message to show on the streaming device.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patient communication is greatly benefitted through the lobby on-screen messages and the hold music scripts. I prefer the quarterly update options we can customize to advertise all of what we offer as it changes.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

Enplug software is intuitive and easy to use. Obtaining cost estimates and customer support were excellent and  technical support response is very timely. Installation and setup was simple and it is easy to administer the site and its content.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

There was very little to dislike. Initial hardware, while inexpensive had some connectivity issues. Enplug upgraded us with Nvidia hardware, which has been problem free. In some cases due to our spotty wifi network, we hardwired the connection without issue. The new Nvidia hardware is reliable and stable and has been on 24/7.

**Recommendations to others considering Spectrio:**

My experience with Enplug has been very positive. They are responsive and provide a stable product that meets the needs of our project. We based our implementation off another divisions use and have been satisfied with cost savings for multiple installations. As in all computing, new hardware upgrades resolved all connectivity issues. We have expanded our initial implementation to include more areas where employees gather. Displays are cost effective and continually updated content that has a visual impact that employees have embraced and are looking for new ways to provide information.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Enplug for digital displays for employee information boards. Using their built in apps, we are able to provide real time traffic, upcoming events, employee recognition, company events, custom signage and more. The days of posters and email have been replaced with visually stimulating content that is easy updated and changed. Employees have benefited by timely information that is easily consumed in break areas and various locations throughout the company. Content is easy to update and the hardware provides crisp clean images.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

The user interface and apps are extremely easy to use. Set up of the device is easy and works great for the most part. Customer support is always responsive and helpful, but I'd say the best part is having the ability to remotely control numberous displays remotely.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

I've used enplug for over 7 years now. In many cases, it works just fine, however, I've ran into issues with the devices freezing, failing, and firewall issues. That said, they are fairly inexpensive to replace.

If you need an RSS feed, Id look into other options.

Being able to display locations specifics content, weather, traffic, and date specific event information at various locations has been our challenge and enplug helped us solve that.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

When I was first setting up my account, the customer experience team was excellent. The team was very responsive and assisted my needs quickly. As far as the actual service, it has been a breeze setting up for external customer use, and the visuals are outstanding and crystal clear. The customization of the service is by far my favorite part. When you create templates, the editor is very user-friendly and much easier to use, and better than PPT. I love that the service continuously adds updated information to the apps (Because of Wi-Fi connection) like the Stock Market watcher and the Sports Center apps. I also enjoy that I receive complete control to communicate with the product. I can command the product to kill the app, clear cache, and re-start, making solving simple IT problems that much easier. -Sam M.

There isn't much room to dislike this product and service.. The team is excellent, and the product is built to last and is simple enough to use. The company provides instructions and guides on how to get yourself up and running. My 2 cents would be: Continue to add new applications for customer visibility and send over tips and tricks to your customers so they can enhance the Enplug experience every now and then! Thank you!

At my property (Resort), we used to print out the daily weather for guests to see. 1. Enplug has helped us save money on paper 2. Now offers a live feed of updated weather conditions for our guests. The same issue is applied as we used to write down on a board to welcome our VIP guests. Now we add it to a slide on Enplug and it looks nicer and is way easier to update.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

I really like being able to change or modify the content from any computer whether I'm at the office or traveling.  I also really like that I can break up some of my content with weather updates and news in pictures.  I feel like this keeps the viewer engaged.  Finally, I like the fact I can adjust how long each slide is displayed.  Some slides don't need to be displayed very long such as the weather, whereas some require more reading and being able to adjust how long they are displayed is very helpful.  
The support they provide for any questions was easy to schedule.  Jamelle, who helped me was great and provided great insight.  My sales rep was also very helpful in getting me started.  I appreciated that he continued to help me even after I committed to Enplug.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

Since I have a total of six televisions that I am using, setting every single one up individually can be time-consuming.  However, once they are up and running they are maintenance-free.  It's just a matter of updating your content from one source.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to educate my clients about the new services our hospital was offering.  Having a captive audience waiting in an exam room is the perfect opportunity to share with them.  Since using Enplug we have seen an increase in client compliance with such services as dentals and physical therapy.  In addition to services we also use Enplug to updated clients about upcoming pet-related events that we sponsor.  Enplug will be very helpful in getting the word out about what is happening in our community.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

The Enplug platform is so user-friendly, anyone can use it. Enplug also allows me to be creative: to upload videos with sound, moving images, YouTube videos, social media content, customize displayes, etc to keep content interesting. The scheduling capabilities are awesome to help keep things relevant without having to manually delete expired content or remember to log-in and upload something on a particular date. The Customer Support Team and tutorials available are really helpful - I used them to integrate our Enplug display into SharePoint and to stream Zoom meetings on our iBoard displays. As our Internal Communication team grows, I believe Enplug will be able to continue to support our needs and grow with us!

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

The Dynamic App Playlist is challenging to understand and I wish there was there was a Microsoft Teams App available, although I hear one may be coming. Sound is all or nothing on the displays and so if I want to show a video without sound, I have to make sure it's uploaded silently.

**Recommendations to others considering Spectrio:**

The Enplug team is super helpful and will help you with your unique situation to ensure that Enplug will be the right fit for your organization. Think about your real-world applications and test before you commit!

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

The best thing about Enplug is how easy it is to use. It is very user-friendly and has a lot of great easy-to-use templates. But under the hood are powerful tools that allow you to do some really awesome things that can help create an experience for your employees and consumers that is engaging and memorable.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

I have not come across anything that I dislike yet. The only complaint I could say is some of the apps don't let you customize the look of it (like the sports one). It would be nice to be able to customize the colors or borders of some of the apps for branding purposes.

**Recommendations to others considering Spectrio:**

I would highly recommend this device for anyone looking to create a unique and engaging atmosphere in your restaurant, bar, or office.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Enplug helped us solve was our menus. We created custom menus in the templates app that allows us to instantly change any of the beers we have on draft while also taking ones off or putting a "sold out" graphic over ones that might return. We are also able to Taproom takeovers which can quickly and easily create a unique experience. For instance, for May the 4th we changed all our marketing screens and menu boards to be Star Wars-themed. It helped create an exciting atmosphere that was easily scheduled to change ahead of time. Same with other special days like Cinco De Mayo. It's fun to see folks interact with the screens through QR codes we have on some of the rotating slides, which has helped us gain Newsletter subscribers, sell tickets, and gain social followers.

Nothing. The transition to the company they sold to has been a nightmare.

They sold to a company that after months, we finally got our equipment a week before the old service is shut off. Our training is the day AFTER they shut off our old service. Not a smooth transition AT ALL.

It no longer exists.

Getting messages to our members in our lobby, and recognizing our front line staff during the pandemic when members were not permitted in the building.

What I like best about Enplug is having the ability to update our devices remotely.  I have two devices and if I want to have a picture show on each device for 10 seconds, every 5 photos, I can!

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

As of right now, I honestly don't have a single complaint.  I am a little confused by the company that acuired Enplug... I spoke with some sales reps and they didn't even know Enplug was purchased.  It was weird.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enplug allows us to save time by being able to update our devices remotely.  It also allows us to save money on printed materials.  Enplug has allowed me to be proactive with its ability to let you schedule things in the future.  The schedule feature enables me to enter a start and end date!

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

This software is very intuitive, making it easy to use and very user friendly. I am able to update graphics and videos with a click of a button from my computer or phone making it a great on the go platform. We were able to move fully away from printed graphics. This was a goal o0f ours to be more relevant and to also cut down on graphic design and printing costs.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

Nothing! I have yet to find anything I don't care for.

This platform is a wonderful tool for your business. It allows you ease of sharing information and allows you to share videos, logos, graphics, etc in a rolling fashion. We have a digital display that we update often and with a few clicks I can update it at any time from my computer or phone!

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this as a digital marketing software for our non-profit. With it's easy to use features we can updates graphics easily and our customers stay up-to-date on info. We display graphics, videos, and websites. As we are busy marketing local outreach events, it allows me to advertise volunteer needs and also post stories and wins to update our church. Our company was also able to eliminate paper advertising and move strictly to digital. This is something we had hoped to do for a long time and are thrilled to save financially and in time management.

The concept is great. Love the idea of remotely updating the content on our lobby and conference room screens.

Seems like at every turn there is a technical glitch. Won't connect to internet, won't display something, shut downs and has to be restarted.

Manually updating each screen in the building with welcome signs for guests isn't ideal, and this gives us a way to do it remotely.

Enplug provides all the key features that any IT, Marketing, Communication or HR leader would look for in a global digital signage platform whether your targeting internal or external stakeholders including:

The high-quality, easily searchable and ever-growing template library does make it hard to choose, keep up with and looks a lot better than anything I put together myself. Otherwise our experience with Enplug has been tremendous and would highly recommend the solution.

Communication and engagement with our plant workers with no access to email or computers. It also serves as a reminder for our corporate users of upcoming events, deadlines and recent successes by including displays in all lounge and lunch rooms.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

Enplug is extremely intuitive and user friendly. There is also a plethora of applications and features available to content creators. Enplug also updates screens in real time, meaning that you do not have to wait to see your changes. The app-based content is engaging and helps keep employees informed.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

There are no stand out negatives about Enplug. We have been extremely satisfied with this solution so far. If I had to pick one thing that could be improved, I would say that it would be great to get some additional enterprise applications, such as a Yammer app and other Microsoft Apps like Microsoft Stream.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many other solutions struggle to stay relevant and require heavy IT support. We chose Enplug for its ease of use and robust features. We are confident that as our company continues to grow and evolve in this digital age, that Enplug's technology will grow with it. This platform helps us to keep our employees engaged and informed.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

They provide templates that can be customized as needed based on your branding requirements.  It also helps since we don't have an in-house marketing team to make things look fancy when creating from scratch.  The software is intuitive and easy to use.  It also offers the ability to collaborate on specific playlists for users both within and outside of the company.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

The devices, at least the ones we have, do need to be restarted once every couple of weeks.  We will sometimes walk into the office with a black screen.  Once the device is restarted, ScreenScape will pick back up within a minute or so and begin playing the assigned playlist.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run health clinics and ScreenScape has given us a way to provide more informational content, clinic information, and notices.  Before ScreenScape, we had movies and cartoons running in a loop that the staff would start to complain about after seeing the same things over and over.  I presented the idea after sitting in Jiffy Lube waiting for my oil change.  I asked my COO about it, and now they've come to rely on it as a way to communicate important information with our patients.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

There's not really a way to mess up how to use this system. There's not a lot of buttons or modules to clutter it up. You literally have where your screens are, the media "library" and then you assign an item to which screen. DONE! So far we've just had user error (I forgot to set a timeframe for when a closure sign came down. So it was Veterans Day for a few weeks! Oops!)

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

I wish it were more intuitive for me to know how to play videos on those screens, or pull a dynamic background from YouTube, but, again, if I spent the time to read the help files, I think I could figure it out more. Maybe that I am unsure what ScreenScape login I need to use (I see version 5 and 4 when I log in!)

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our lobby often has people standing around waiting. With the movement from the 3 screens, it's easy to find something to look at in there. We have different content on each one, so no one can say it's boring!

-Very easy to use software
-A lot of free templates
-We're a financial organization so security is key and Enplug passed all of our security tests
-Many free third-party apps to show a variety of content including business news, market news, and other live content
-Lots of automated content including showing stock tickers, charts, and metrics
-Fast and effective customer support
-Incredibly reliable software. Our screens are always up.

We like everything. Nothing that we dislike.

The plug and play feature of cloud connect. Using the publishing tool is easy.  Connecting and setup of the device are pleasure can be done by a person with limited technical knowledge. The screen layout is easy to create with the predefined templets, feature-rich media content. Integration with other apps like youtube and RSS feeds is simple. Tracking of content is made very easy you can see when a device is offline and track content display time. Remote device management is a plus. Easy to schedule content. Comunity sharing of devices. Customer service is 5 star.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

The product is expensive in South Africa.  You can only Publish to a Screenscape device. Some competitors allow you to publish to other media players or Apple on Android devices. You can only publish content in Landscape and not portrait mode. Some templates are a bit restrictive.  Please add portrait mode and Apple and android Device support in future versions. Further, there is not much that I can complain about.

Very easy to deploy and configure your screens and get your content to display. The device is free on contract.

I recommend using mid to high quality JPEGs as your upload of choice. I find their compression mode perfect for upload, and they maintain a high quality that looks great on the screens. GIFs are okay, too, but I find they come out a lot more choppy - especially if you're using larger, HD screens like the ones I use. 

I'd also recommend familiarizing yourself with the scheduling feature! It's incredibly useful. It's much easier to set up a large amount of content in advance, and have it automatically begin and end the sharing of that content than it is to have to manually start and end each individual item.

Wifi is also a big must for ScreenScape! I use ScreenScape on 5 different screens in 5 different parts of my Club - all with different wifi sources. So it can be tricky. But the stronger the wifi, the better the connection, the quicker the updates, and the higher the quality - especially if you'll be using video. 

Wifi boosters are a great tool for this - you can extend your wifi in the areas you want your screens in without having to add an entirely new router!

It is incredibly intuitive and straightforward to learn. I do not have a background in IT or design, but I have been putting together impressive content for our screens from the first week of using it.

I would like to somehow be alerted when something isn't quite right, such as recently when my playlist of media was having trouble loading a link from outside ScreenScape. I only found out when I spotted it on the screen firsthand. It would be neat if I could see from my browser window what was airing on the screen at that exact moment.

Seriously, give it a try. The cost is easily more than worth the immediate benefit, especially considering the very minimal labor commitment on the part of you or your employee.

The product's strengths are the ease of administrator and the variety of templates that come with it.  We are able to create admin groups by devices and also manage content at that level as well.  We leave it up to our businesses for the use case which is also great.  The hardware is great, easy to setup and install.  We've only had one unit ever fail and screenscape quickly replaced it.

This is a premium product and is priced accordingly.  But with that said, they constantly improve the features of the management portal and also keep improving the content templates.

Everything is integrated. Since both the software and hardware come from Screenscape, managing it all from an admin perspective is easy. You can see where all your screens are plugged in, if any of them are experiencing issues, and of course, create and launch playlists for all your screens. The hardware is easy to set up as well. It truly is a plug and play system.

Sometimes the screen didn't display the graphics properly, but a reset would fix the issue.

The product is easy to use, It has nice design templates which make it easy to get professional-looking results. We appreciate not having to upgrade all our old TVs to get advertising material on them and having the ability to push out advertising content remotely from a centralized location.

Supervisors in their own locations can also manage their own specific devices which allows for specialized content in each location (for example branch specific programming).

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

Not much, it's an easy solution for us. Configuration was a bit tricky because we had to create bypasses in our network for the devices' MAC addresses. We have trouble running Flash in Chrome so we have to use a different browser. We also had some issues running YouTube links recently, but this wasn't a deal-breaker for us as we don't predominately advertise via YouTube.

We wanted an easy way to advertise services in our branches. This allows us to push content centrally across 15 locations with minimal staff intervention. It's a simple solution once it's up and running, and we appreciate the convenience.

EnPlug is super easy to use, flexible with subscription levels and reselling, easy customer service, simple apps.  Able to play with each app quickly and become somewhat proficient relatively quickly.

Enplug digital signage has a few apps that are subscription based.  As well, I have had a device lock-up or has been unable to reset.  But for the most part, everything has been super simple.  I still haven't figured out certain permissions and sometimes the apps dont' seem to match the timing settings.  As example, if I schedule FB for 15% of the time, sometimes it seems like 50%.

My recommendations are to see if other companies are willing to do free demos and let the user see if it works for their needs.  This alone is  a unique feature that makes EnPlug easy to do business with.

If you are a digital signage user who has a need to consistently update their digital signage, then Enplug is the device for you. On of Enplugs highlights is its ability to remotely manage and monitor multiple signage players from any device. I can update and monitor any display at any location without having to physically go on site. Enplug also makes it easy to schedule content and increase or decrease the amount of time displaying an advertisement. The social media content is aesthetically pleasing, and the signage creation templates are very simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

Sometimes the NVIDIA remotes have trouble pairing. This is a very rare occurrence and only an issue when setting up a new player on a wireless network. Sports Center app is also in need of an update. Some of the team logos are outdated.

I love EnPlug because it's easy to learn and use and I get a result that looks like a digital studio pro created it. I manage two digital displays for my church. One display is targeted toward community group members that come in and out all week long for various meetings. It was easy to create graphics to welcome them and show when and where their meeting is. In the "Zone" section I created a clock, a map of the campus, and our logo. In the "Dynamic App Playlist" section I created a live link to our daily Outlook calendar, a weather display, and a welcome sign, The other display is targeted to people attending Sunday service coffee hour. Each week I am able to put up new graphics in the App section using the Video and Graphics App, keeping everyone informed of all the mission activities members are involved in. AND... I can do it all from my home.

More guidance and tips on how to create graphics and text outside EnPlug so they don't get pixelated when you upload them

The devices are simple to set up and sort into display groups, and content curation is a breeze through the various Enplug apps. There have been a few times the software has gone down on us. Sometimes the program is a bit finicky to use and update different images or slideshows displayed.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to display company information to guests who have come in to meet with us. We are able to give them some insight on  things going on, and things to come from our company. It is always informational and hopefully we are able to answer some of the questions guests may have about the company before they need to ask them.

Login to the website is a bit confusing, as there are requirements for browsers utilizing Flash player. Isn't Flash dead? This is the message I receive: "ScreenScape is powered by a Rich Internet Application that requires Adobe Flash (version 10 or greater).Your browser's Flash player plugin is missing or outdated. The Flash player plugin is free, safe and secure, and takes only seconds to download. Click Get Flash to update your player and then we'll be able to move right along."

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a 32" digital display board (no tuner) at the entry of the Springs Restaurant that rotates through specials for the month. Also, when we have special events like live entertainment, we can use ScreenScape to get the message out to our customers.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

I like that I am not limited to the templates, that I can create my own designs in Screenscape or I can use an outside program and upload those designs.  The Customer Service is amazing as well

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

I find the connection rate really finicky.  If you do not have fast and strong connection it does not work and not all our clients do so it is hard to promote the program to my stakeholders.

Ensure you understanding the connection requirment.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

We are a National company with restoration offices all over the continental USA. Enplug makes it easy to scale your communications with compelling and consistent "corporate"content delivered to screens across the room or around the world, as well as being able to customize content to locales. Other digital signage programs come with cumbersome management tools that make it difficult to know which displays are working and what content they’re showing.  With Enplug, its easy to "drop in" to each screen to see what its showing. 



**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

I don't dislike anything - but Ii would LOVE to see more apps! Also, I would like to see a "live" feature that allows you to send a video message to all screens without having to go through Youtube live.

We are keeping everyone on the same page with our Enplug communications. Everyone needs to be on the same page to run the location effectively. Our screens allow us to send engaging messages (visual communication resonates with audiences better than copy) to a large team even if they are spread across multiple locations, as the same message can air on all televisions.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

The drag and drop functionality makes it incredibly easy to edit slides, create custom messaging and quickly upload those changes on the fly. A large selection of templates means that you don't have to be a graphic genius to have professional looking signage, but if you're a graphics pro, ScreenScape allows you to create custom slides without having to use a template.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

It would be great if there was a better preview of some of the assets included with ScreenScape (i.e. background colours, shapes, etc) and an ability to scale them. I have spent quite a bit of time enabling a shape from the assets library only to find that I can't edit its proportions and the colour isn't quite right. In the end, I just created my own in Photoshop and uploaded it to the server.

**Recommendations to others considering Spectrio:**

This is a great product and the best cost effective signage solution that I could source for our business.

Compared to other signage systems, ScreenScape is so easy to use, doesn't have a huge learning curve and is so endlessly customizable that your slides end up looking professional and on brand no matter what your skill level is.

**What do you like best about Spectrio?**

I can upload nearly any type of communication or content I've created in the format it's in (PowerPoint slides, PDFs, photos, videos, JPEGs, etc.).  It's so easy to funnel in our social media posts too - and you can approve them before they display, which is a great feature. I love that there are widgets for displaying generated content too like news, health tips and even trivia. The dashboard is super intuitive and easy to use which saves you time. The helpdesk team is very responsive when I have had a question. I see our company using this platform for a long time as it continues to grow with us.

**What do you dislike about Spectrio?**

The only feature I've been waiting for is a way to connect to a local source (spreadsheet) to automatically update a slide that's displaying on the screens.  For example, we show birthdays and work anniversaries every week.  I have to manually upload them each week.  It would be nice if I could connect my spreadsheet and it update automatically.

**What problems is Spectrio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enplug changes the way we communicate with team members, making it so much easier to get messages out to our large team.  We can prioritize messages and even freeze messages when we have an urgent communication need - something we had no way of doing in the past.
