Is Spectrio free, or does it offer a free trial?

No. According to G2 data, Spectrio does not offer a free plan or free trial. Users need to purchase a paid plan to access the product. Visit the seller's official pricing page for current pricing details and plan options.

Who is Spectrio pricing best suited for?

Based on G2 reviewer demographics, Spectrio's pricing is best suited for mid-market organizations with 51 to 1,000 employees operating across multiple locations. Industries appearing most frequently in G2 reviews include healthcare, automotive, hospitality, libraries, non-profits, financial services, and education. These segments value centralized remote content management across distributed screens without requiring dedicated IT or design staff. Small businesses in retail, restaurants, and civic organizations also appear regularly and cite affordability and ease of use. Enterprise buyers in food production, government, and manufacturing use Spectrio for large-scale internal communications. Organizations needing on-hold messaging alongside digital signage represent a distinct use case well-served by Spectrio's bundled service model.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Spectrio?

Spectrio offers no free tier or publicly listed pricing tiers according to G2's pricing data. Spectrio's pricing is structured around custom quotes, meaning prospective buyers must engage sales directly to obtain cost information. G2 reviewers note per-device or per-monitor subscription charges as the operative cost model, with one reviewer flagging that per-screen pricing becomes burdensome at scale. No free trial is referenced in G2 review data. Spectrio's paid plans cover digital signage, on-hold messaging, and video-on-demand services, with access to cloud-based content management, templates, scheduling, and multi-location administration included within the custom-quoted subscription.

Is Spectrio considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers present a split picture on Spectrio's value. Satisfied users across mid-market and small business segments in healthcare, libraries, hospitality, and non-profits consistently cite ease of use, strong customer support, and centralized multi-location management as justifying the cost. One G2 reviewer explicitly calls Spectrio's pricing excellent with competitors charging over 5x more. However, negative G2 reviews flag billing concerns, post-acquisition support degradation after the Enplug merger, abrupt partner terminations, and per-monitor subscription costs that strain budgets at scale. One mid-market reviewer notes the subscription charge per screen becomes heavy with numerous monitors. Value perception depends heavily on deployment size and support expectations.

What do you like best about Spectrio?

I use Spectrio for on-hold messaging service, and it really helps us keep customers on the phone during busy times, allowing us to finish sales. I like how their customer support is incredibly prompt, friendly, and effective. The ease of use is also a big plus—it's just an email and then I receive our on-hold messaging. The initial setup was very easy as they walked us through it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spectrio?

I partnered with ENPLUG and built digital signage integrator on their solution.

The reason is a sum of factors, like an easy-to-use dashboard, auto content generation, a variety of different apps, that are able to cover almost any client request.

One of the most significant benefits I have realized, Enplug provide fantastic clients service! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spectrio?

[update from the Oct 2025]

I’ve spent 10 years building this integrator company, customer by customer, with a churn rate under 3%. That’s a rare achievement — it represents not only revenue but trust, reputation, and real relationships.

And then, without notice or any chance to prepare, Spectrio shut off an entire line of business. They explained OFAC compliance and the open invoices — and I accept that compliance is non-negotiable. But the way it was done — abrupt, no consultation, no orderly transition — erased years of work in one stroke.

What hurts more is the response tone. I tried to propose cooperation: account-based outreach, complementary hardware, building pipeline — a model where we add value instead of competing. Instead of exploring that, I got a flat “No thank you.” After a decade of partnership, that dismissal feels cold.

So yes — what comes through in my words is frustration, disappointment, and hurt. I kept it professional, but it was still deeply personal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
