"Showpad is a great sales tool to avoid unnecessary loads of documentation carried by our sales team."

What do you like best?

The simple and straight-forward app(s) are great to work with and need almost no training or explanation to share documents with customers.

With the reports it is easy to follow who is sharing which documents when and anticipate to re-organize the important content to the need of the users.

Super and easy tool for your salesforce, who will be happy not to carry around lots of paper documentation! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The back-end is not as straight-forward as the front-end apps.

You would expect an explorer kind of interface for the content management system, but it is more like 1 big data pool where you can search with tags and keywords.

The windows app is also not as good as the iOS app, but I'm sure Showpad is working hard to fix this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool- Buggy with Windows 10"

What do you like best?

The concept is great. As a marketing in a regulated industry, I can easily update salesforce content, track updates and usage, track emails of materials. Really is a great tool when it works well.

What do you dislike?

Our Salesforce uses Microsoft SurfaceBooks (I know). The app is extremely buggy in a derailing way. Different pieces of content seem to not work with different reps. The only current solution is to delete all content or the app itself and reload everything HOPING that it loads correctly. Often a different piece of content will be buggy each time you reload.

Usage and update statistics don't seem to be accurate as well.

Showpad support responds quickly to emails/calls, but hasn't offered any meaningful solution in 2 months of use. My reps aren't necessarily dead in the water, Showpad isn't quite delivering on its core value proposition.

My guess is that all of the above is due to their platform not working that well with Window 10, and that while they claim compatibility with Windows, most of their success is with iOS products.

Lastly, all of their support documentation is dated and/or not setup for windows and the SurfaceBook. Its nice to have a library of how-to's to send to the field team, but they don't help if they are not current or on the same system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
