The frontend speed and the possibilities to build a custom template for categories and product pages. It's much easier to use (both as a frontend dev and a merchant) than Magento. The way to create a custom theme is on par with BigCommerce. **What do you dislike about Shopware?** As a merchant: The documentation could be a little better. It feels "simplified", and I'm missing a very crucial part: how to handle an order in the best way (like step 1, step 2, and so on). For example, Big Commerce have a more straight-on approach. The designation "Shopping experience" is a bit confusing at first. Why not call it "layout templates"? (but this can be due to my lack of experience with SW). When you don't run the store in the default language English (or Germany?) it's a bit confusing to create a new product. What data needs to be enter in the default language and what can be enter in the store language (in my case Swedish)? As a theme developer: I want more "meat" overall in the dev docs. But what I'm really missing is how to transfer your locally developed theme to the live installation of SW. Lucky I got help in the forum. The English version of the forum is not so active. I understand it's not Shopwares "fault", but as a first time user of Shopware, one could want more answers to the questions in the forum. **What problems is Shopware solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wanted a modern web store for a side project and wanted to try something new (after Magento 1, Shopify, BigCommerce and Prestashop). The system is maintained quite often and efficiently. There is a lot of helpful documentation to achieve wha you need, and many plugins are already available for that. **What do you dislike about Shopware?** Sometimes, you have issues you can't explain. Even if that's a developer's life to have unexplained problems, it's pretty irritating when you have nowhere to search because it's not logged in the log file. At my current job, we have a B2B platform running on Shopware 6. Every month we have new products which we can quickly make visible to our customers via dynamic product groups. They sucked and has no idea how Shopware works. And that is the problem with Shopware, most doing it has used magento or prestashop before and tent to make everything from scratch. Our store didn't use the internal image system, that is the best system ever. For a quick start-up, I can recommend it. We combine it with channable, Sentry, DigitalOcean... Starting up always brings a white screen, refresh and you're up and running. Shopware can be used in the OpenSource Edition but chances are high you need one or more commercial plugins.
