I've been actively using a live implementation Shopware 6 for the last 8 months, but cannot compare it with other systems. 
You can make your own shop with the free version, easily adding new products, editing the descriptions and uploading photos. If you have a Paypal account this form of payment is working smoothly with Shopware. On one occasion I had a problem displaying a video of a product. Other then that it is a good shop software.
