"Easy to use but plans need to be more flexible"
What do you like best about Brevo Marketing Platform?

I like that it's easy to use and the cost is low compared to other options in the market, although plans could be more flexible on the number of emails you can send per month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Brevo takes money from my account despite account being cancelled; product not fit for purpose"
What do you like best about Brevo Marketing Platform?

I could never get it to work properly and the company continues to charge after cancellation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo Marketing Platform?

1. The Brevo service I paid for DOES NOT work for small businesses.

2. I cannot get a live contact

3. Even though the contract was cancelled, Brevo continues to charge my account

Rather than use the free trial option, I immediately bought and paid for the basic Brevo plan that should have been sufficient for my purposes. I have as clean an email list as is possible for someone sending a newsletter only four times a year (562 recipients). I got a legitimate business email (rather than gmail); it was authenticated by Brevo. All emails are going to customers who have chosen to opt IN to receiving emails via the website or by email; I review and delete any that are obvious scams due to email address or message content; all receive a confirmation email when they sign up; all unsubscribes are managed immediately. Brevo "checked" my email list of 562 names when uploaded, and identified one problematic email that I corrected.

I sent a test newsletter email; no problem. I sent the newsletter email. Within a short period my account had been suspended as others report in TrustPilot reviews here.

I tried to follow the three steps Brevo sets out to correct the problem. I looked for help on their site – could not find anything helpful.

I reported the problem and got a response “We got you…” and a ticket number (#4699309). I provided additional detail. Customers are promised to get a response in one business day “or often sooner” – and two business days later, no reply. I added a further note.

Still no answer to the most basic question:

I presume I can extract and triage between the 562 I uploaded and the 533 that seem to be there now but how do I find which emails 1. Hard bounced? 2. Unsubscribed? 3. Did not go through at all as the bulk email seems to have been cut off mid-way?

As other commenters said, there were hardbounces and unsubscribes, but the percentages seem reasonable to me and the opens and click-throughs I saw as it was sending seemed within industry averages and no complaints.

How can I as a small business with a paid subscription get the service that a reasonable person would expect? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
