**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I like using Agentforce Service for its automation features, which help our agents with day-to-day activities automatically. The service console is great, as it provides valid articles and handles customer complaints efficiently with the knowledge articles available on the Lightning platform. This helps our agents stay informed and assist customers promptly. The product also helps with logging calls and updating ticket information automatically, which saves time and effort. The AI capabilities, combined with traditional support models, noticeably improve our task efficiency and resolution times.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The Lightning component can be overwhelming when trying to display a lot of information during customer calls, which makes it a bit cumbersome. The pricing of Agentforce Service can also be a concern, which is why we're using an alternative like Twilio Flex for some functionalities, as it's more cost-effective in our case.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Agentforce Service to automate tasks like logging calls and updating tickets, speeding up resolution times. It helps agents with day-to-day activities automatically, depending on knowledge articles to address customer complaints efficiently.

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Users like best that Agentforce Service enables seamless collaboration between AI agents and human reps across every channel, letting autonomous agents handle high-volume, low-touch interactions and hand off complex cases to humans only when needed. They also value the unified, real-time customer profile in the agent workspace (powered by Data Cloud), which drives faster, more context-rich, and more consistent case resolution

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Users mainly dislike the platform's complexity and steep learning curve, particularly around configuring automation, workflows, and custom integrations, which requires significant time and technical expertise for new users. Cost is another common frustration, as additional licensing and feature add-ons can drive up expenses quickly, making it less accessible for smaller teams.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service mainly solves the problem of fragmented, manual case management by centralizing customer interactions, cases, and communications on one platform with omnichannel routing and AI-driven automation for common inquiries. This benefits teams through improved operational efficiency, faster resolution times via automated workflows, and consolidated visibility into customer history, which together drive better customer satisfaction and measurable ROI.

  ### 4. Centralized Case Management and AI Automation That Boosts Service Efficiency

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Service is how it brings customer information, case management, and AI-powered capabilities into one place. As someone still learning the platform, I find the centralized view and automation capabilities especially helpful for understanding how service teams can work more efficiently and provide faster, more consistent customer support.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

As someone still new to Agentforce Service, I find that the platform can feel overwhelming at first because of the number of features, configurations, and options available. The learning curve could be smoother, with more intuitive guidance to help new users quickly understand and take advantage of its capabilities.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps solve the challenge of managing customer cases, information, and service interactions across different channels. It brings everything into one place while using automation and AI to streamline repetitive tasks. As a new user, this is helping me better understand how service teams can improve efficiency, respond faster, and deliver a more consistent customer experience.

  ### 5. Versatile Platform with Exceptional Flexibility and Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I really like the breadth of Agentforce Service and how it compares to other platforms. I find the user interface to be definitely a standout feature, especially with its connectedness and integrations, including Salesforce voice's telephony aspects. I also appreciate the customizability of the console, which allows you to put important information in front of agents where they can access it easily. This flexibility often surprises clients in a good way. Additionally, the knowledge base case swarming, interconnectedness to Slack, and the console's single pane of glass view are quite invaluable. The speed at which I can configure and deploy the service adds more value to it. Overall, there's no other solution that is as strong as Agentforce Service.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The main issue we face with Agentforce Service is that our clients often struggle with understanding the knowledge and the different licenses of knowledge. Creating all those knowledge articles upfront can be surprising for clients, and it's an area that could use some improvement.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps my clients with case resolution and deflection, managing cases efficiently. Its powerful user interface, integrations, and flexibility greatly improve customer experiences.

  ### 6. Deep Service Cloud Integration with Powerful Apex and Flow Extensibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishna A. | Salesforce Technical Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Agentforce Service integrates deeply with the existing Service Cloud data model, so case management, Omni-Channel routing, and knowledge base articles all feed directly into agent responses without separate data pipelines. The Apex and Flow extensibility lets developers customize actions beyond the out-of-box templates, which makes it far more adaptable to complex enterprise support workflows than a generic bot layer bolted on top of a CRM.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Configuration and debugging of agent actions can be opaque — when a response doesn't trigger the right flow or Apex action, there's limited visibility into why the model chose that path, so troubleshooting often means manually testing prompts rather than reading clear logs. Governor limits and versioning across sandboxes also add friction when iterating quickly on agent behavior.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service is solving the problem of case volume outpacing agent headcount — it deflects routine, repetitive inquiries (order status, password resets, FAQ-style questions) by resolving them autonomously or pulling the right knowledge article before a human ever picks up the case. That's freed our service reps to focus on complex, high-touch cases instead of getting buried in tier-1 tickets. It's also cut down on inconsistent responses, since the agent pulls from the same knowledge base and case history every time rather than relying on individual rep judgment. The net benefit for us has been faster first-response times and more predictable case resolution, without having to scale the support team headcount at the same rate as ticket volume.

  ### 7. Flexible, Scalable Customer Service Platform with Strong Salesforce Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael O. | Vice President - Digital Platforms, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Agentforce Service provides a strong, flexible platform for managing customer service at scale. I particularly value the ability to bring case management, customer/member data, workflows, automation, digital channels, and analytics into one platform. The integration across the broader Salesforce ecosystem also gives us a solid foundation to continuously improve the service experience and introduce AI capabilities over time.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The platform’s flexibility can also create complexity. Implementations require strong governance, architecture, and ongoing administration, particularly in a highly customized enterprise environment. Licensing and the evolving packaging of AI and data capabilities can also be difficult to navigate, and some advanced functionality requires additional products, configuration, or implementation effort.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps us centralize member service interactions, case management, workflows, and data in one platform. It gives our teams a more consistent view of the member, reduces manual processes, improves routing and follow-up, and creates opportunities for greater automation and self-service. It also provides a scalable foundation for expanding digital service and AI capabilities while improving operational efficiency and the overall member experience.

  ### 8. Agentforce Service Streamlines Support with Smart Automation and Fast Case Resolution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like most about Agentforce Service is the way it automates routine customer service tasks while still making it easy to escalate to a human agent when needed. It can provide 24/7 support, summarize cases, suggest possible resolutions, and use Salesforce data and knowledge to deliver relevant, accurate responses. Overall, this helps service teams resolve cases more quickly and spend more time on complex customer issues that require deeper attention.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I dislike about Agentforce Service is that the initial setup and customization can be complex. It requires well-organized data, clear instructions, and proper testing to ensure agents provide accurate responses. For more complex customer issues, human involvement may still be necessary.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps solve problems like high volumes of repetitive customer requests, slow response times, and manual case handling. It automates common support tasks, provides quick answers, summarizes customer interactions, and helps service agents find relevant information faster. This improves response times and allows teams to focus on more complex customer issues.

  ### 9. Real-Time Project Tracking and Forecasting, But Data Integrity Flags Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shay H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Users can easily enter projects and update each project’s status so leadership can see real-time progress. This also produces reports that help us better forecast where our revenue is headed and where the leadership team should invest their time, whether that’s with prospective founders or contract extensions.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

It would be great to have an automated data-integrity flagging tool. For example, it could identify unused metric fields, free-form fields that have gotten out of control, accounts that haven’t been accessed or used, and duplicates. Flagging duplicates at the time accounts are first entered seems like an easy fix. This should be a standard feature on the service platform so we can avoid reaching out to customers we already have a relationship with.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us organize our accounts more effectively so we can better structure our outreach strategies and align customers with our mission. By focusing on targeted groups, we’ve been able to narrow our nationwide efforts to the states that are most interested and in need of support, which helps us better fulfill our philanthropy goals.

  ### 10. Considering Salesforce service cloud

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nagendra Singh S. | Sr. Technical Manager/Salesforce Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

customer service platform that helps organizations deliver personalized, connected, and efficient support. It brings customer information, cases, knowledge, automation, digital channels, and AI-powered capabilities into one platform—empowering service teams to resolve issues faster, improve customer experiences, increase productivity, and build stronger, long-term customer relationships.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Organizations often struggle with fragmented customer data, disconnected service channels, manual processes, limited case visibility, inconsistent customer experiences, and slow issue resolution. Legacy systems can create duplicate work, difficult integrations, reporting gaps, and operational inefficiencies. Service teams also need better automation, knowledge access, proactive engagement, and AI-driven insights to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Service addresses financial business challenges by reducing service costs, improving agent productivity, and lowering operational overhead from fragmented systems and manual processes. Better case resolution and automation can reduce handling time, improve customer retention, and increase workforce efficiency. Consolidated data and reporting also enable stronger resource allocation, performance management, and measurable service ROI.

  ### 11. Great for keeping workflows organized and visible

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Magdalena B. | Revenue Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I like that Service Cloud gives us one place to manage and track requests. In Deal Desk, I use Cases to keep requests organized, track where things stand and make sure there is a clear history of what happened. It also makes it much easier to see request volume, turnaround times and identify trends.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Depending on how it’s configured, Service Cloud can feel a little clunky and require too many clicks for simple tasks. There are also a lot of fields and options that aren’t always intuitive. Reporting is useful, but getting exactly what you need can sometimes take more effort than it should for regular users.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a centralized place to manage Deal Desk requests instead of having them come through different channels. Cases make it easier to track ownership, status and request history, and give us better visibility into volume and turnaround times. It also helps keep the process more consistent and makes reporting much easier.

  ### 12. Service Cloud Helps Us Manage Student Cases Across Departments

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**AI Translated:** This review has been translated from English using AI.

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Service Cloud enables our students to submit a variety of case types to different departments. For example, since we have many international students, the DSO can monitor and address any issues students encounter with their visas.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

At the moment, students tend to submit several similar cases if they do not receive a prompt response. We are hoping that Salesforce will be able to identify and automatically merge these duplicate cases, as our current system lacks this capability.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has enabled us to streamline the way we respond to student questions, and, importantly, it now allows us to track individual cases and maintain historical records. From a data standpoint, we are able to identify recurring issues more easily, which helps us refine our processes or develop targeted solutions.

  ### 13. Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey L. | Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account added to their profile

What I like best about Agentforce Service is how much of the customer service process can be brought into one place. Case management, routing, knowledge, automation, reporting, and customer history can all work together instead of forcing service teams to jump between different systems.

I also like how configurable it is. You can build the service process around how the business actually operates, automate repetitive work, and give agents the information they need without overwhelming them with unnecessary steps. Agentforce adds another interesting layer by helping surface relevant information, summarize interactions, and potentially reduce some of the manual work that slows agents down.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I dislike most about Agentforce Service is how complex the overall setup can become. Case management, routing, entitlements, knowledge, automation, channels, and AI features can all be powerful, but getting everything configured well often requires a lot of planning, testing, and ongoing administration.

It can also be easy for the service experience to become cluttered if too many features or automations are layered together over time. With Agentforce specifically, the value depends heavily on having clean data, well-defined processes, and good knowledge content in place first, so the AI capabilities are not necessarily plug-and-play.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps solve the problem of customer service information and processes being spread across different systems, teams, and communication channels. It gives service teams a centralized place to manage cases, customer history, knowledge, routing, and automation.

The biggest benefit is that agents can spend less time searching for information or completing repetitive administrative tasks and more time actually resolving customer issues. It also gives the business better visibility into case volume, trends, response times, and recurring problems. Agentforce has the potential to improve that further by summarizing interactions, surfacing relevant information, and helping automate routine service work while keeping the customer context within Salesforce.

  ### 14. Unified Customer Service Platform That Boosts Productivity with AI and Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ambika S. | Information Technology Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

What I like best about Agentforce Service is how it brings customer data, case management, automation, and AI into one unified platform. It gives service teams a complete view of the customer while using Agentforce to automate routine requests, recommend responses and knowledge, and seamlessly escalate more complex issues to human agents. This helps improve agent productivity, reduce resolution time, and deliver a more consistent customer experience across channels

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I dislike most is the complexity that can come with configuration and ongoing administration. Agentforce Service is very powerful, but implementing advanced automation, integrations, routing, and AI capabilities can require significant Salesforce expertise. Some features also involve additional licensing and careful configuration, which can increase the overall cost and effort. The user experience can occasionally feel overwhelming because of the number of features and configuration options available

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us centralize customer service, automate repetitive processes, and give agents a complete view of customer interactions. This reduces manual effort, improves case resolution time, and allows the team to provide a faster and more consistent customer experience.

  ### 15. Efficient Automation, But Setup Overheads

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I really like the AI-powered case summarization and how Agentforce handles routine queries effortlessly. The unified console view is another feature I appreciate. Routine assignment rules are well-executed, ensuring cases land with the right team, and the reporting and dashboard capabilities are also impressive. Case management and Omni-channel routing are features I heavily rely on. Additionally, Agentforce's power in addressing customer queries through AI agents, without human involvement, is something I find very valuable.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Setting up and configuring Agentforce Service takes a lot of time, which can be quite inconvenient. Also, the pricing can add up really quickly, making it an expensive option. It would be really helpful to have faster and more guided setup steps, as well as transparent pricing and more pre-billed templates.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps reduce response times and automate repetitive tasks by maintaining customer context and history. It allows us to use AI agents for quick answers and manage support tickets effectively.

  ### 16. Great Customization, But Complex for Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia M. | Division Marketing Technology Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I like the integration and customization of Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud). It helps keep things organized because everything is in one place, which means less tab switching and more efficiency. I also find it helpful for prioritizing tasks and setting expectations with the end user, like estimating the turnaround time for solutions to tickets.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I think the biggest issue is that our end users find the whole system confusing and baffling. It sometimes does too much, making it hard to troubleshoot and offer support effectively. It's like, I can set it up, but someone else trying to work in it might struggle with the interface. If something doesn't go right, they can't just easily figure it out because the system is so complex.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Agentforce Service would work well for ticketing and help desk tasks. It helps prioritize tasks, estimate turnaround times, and keeps everything organized in one place, reducing the need to switch tabs.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Agentforce Service excels at bringing customer data, communication channels, and automated workflows together under one roof. Because support reps operate inside the main CRM platform, they get an immediate, full picture of every customer’s history without switching apps. Adding autonomous AI agents and built-in knowledge access helps resolve routine questions quickly, while omnichannel routing automatically sends incoming cases to the right rep based on skill and workload.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The main drawbacks stem from its overall cost and implementation complexity. Licensing fees can quickly climb as advanced features or usage credits are added, and setting up complex workflows often requires specialized admin expertise. For smaller teams with simple support needs, the platform can feel over-engineered, and heavily customized systems can sometimes experience slower page load times in the agent console.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service is designed to tackle the structural challenges that traditional support organizations face, while delivering distinct operational benefits depending on your role.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I appreciate the flexibility of use case with Agentforce Service, and even the out-of-box functionality is great when it's not bumping up against our customizations on the platform. The presumed ease of use for external facing traveling sales people is a big plus, and I find list views to be great as long as they're interacting with out-of-box objects. I also found the initial setup very easy, which allowed us to utilize the out-of-box functionality instead of building many custom agents.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The main issue I faced with Agentforce Service is its ability to interact with customized objects. It can be challenging when it doesn't function well with the customizations we have on the platform. Additionally, the reliability of responses is a concern, as giving the same input three times can result in different outputs each time. This inconsistency can be frustrating.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service makes it easy for our traveling salespeople to access list views and data points on mobile. However, it struggles with reliable responses and interaction with custom objects, which can be challenging.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Service is the ability to manage customer interactions and service cases in one centralized platform. It gives service teams a complete view of the customer and makes it easier to track cases, collaborate across teams, and provide consistent support across different channels.

The automation and AI capabilities are also particularly valuable, helping streamline repetitive tasks, prioritize cases, and provide agents with relevant information more quickly. This ultimately improves both agent productivity and the overall customer service experience.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The main drawback is the complexity that comes with such a feature-rich platform. Initial configuration and customization can require significant effort, and some workflows are not always intuitive for occasional or new users.

In addition, taking full advantage of the automation and AI capabilities often requires careful setup, integration, and ongoing governance. Simplifying the user experience and reducing the effort required to configure advanced features would make the platform even more effective.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps us centralize customer service operations, providing a single view of customer interactions, cases, and service history. This reduces fragmentation across different channels and makes it easier for agents to manage and prioritize requests effectively.

Automation and AI capabilities also help streamline case handling, reduce repetitive manual work, and surface relevant information faster. The main benefits are improved agent productivity, more consistent service processes, faster resolution times, and ultimately a better customer experience.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Service is its seamless integration of AI-driven autonomous agents with traditional CRM data. It allows businesses to automate routine customer service tasks with highly contextual, accurate AI conversationalists while effortlessly escalating complex issues to human agents—all within a single, unified ecosystem

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like least is the steep learning curve and the high cost of implementation. Setting up advanced AI agents requires significant technical expertise and clean data, which can be overwhelming for smaller teams. Additionally, the licensing fees and token-based pricing for AI features can quickly become expensive as you scale.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service solves the critical problem of customer support burnout and high ticket volumes by deploying autonomous AI agents that handle routine inquiries instantly. For me, the primary benefit is drastic efficiency gains; it eliminates repetitive tasks, allows the team to focus strictly on complex, high-value customer issues, and significantly reduces our overall response times

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Core Benefits & Upsides

Autonomous AI Agents: It deploys AI agents that can independently analyze customer queries, trigger workflows, and resolve issues end-to-end without human intervention. Unified Customer Data (Data Cloud): It connects directly with Salesforce Data Cloud to provide a 360-degree, real-time view of customer history, interactions, and accounts. Omnichannel Engagement: It manages customer interactions seamlessly across email, phone, live chat, messaging apps, and social media from a single console. Enhanced Agent Productivity: Features such as generative AI case summaries, auto-responders, and recommended next steps can significantly reduce handle times for human agents. Scalable Process Automation: It uses Flow Builder and automated routing to quickly direct complex cases to the appropriate specialist or team. Advanced Analytics: It offers real-time dashboards and predictive metrics via CRM Analytics to track agent performance, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and operational bottlenecks.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Core Disadvantages & Downsides

High Total Cost of Ownership: Base licensing fees are premium, and costs can scale up quickly as advanced AI features, add-ons, higher-tier editions, or volume-based usage (like Agentforce conversations) are added.

Steep Learning Curve: The platform’s overall complexity can feel overwhelming for new users and administrators, often requiring dedicated training and specialized certification to configure and manage properly.

Complex Implementation & Setup: Customizing workflows and data models, along with setting up AI guardrails, frequently requires expensive external implementation partners or dedicated Salesforce developers.

Cluttered User Interface: The agent console can feel overly dense and cluttered with options, which can slow response times for new agents until the workspace is fully customized.

Data Cleansing Requirements: Autonomous AI functionality depends heavily on accurate underlying data; weak existing CRM data or low-quality knowledge base content directly reduces AI performance and accuracy.

Performance Lag with Heavy Customization: Orgs with extensive custom code, complex legacy automation, or multiple third-party integrations may see slower page loads and more sluggish console responsiveness.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Key Business Problems Solved

High Support Costs and Scaling Limits: Automates repetitive tier-1 inquiries with AI agents, helping companies scale support volume without linear headcount growth.

Siloed Customer Data: Consolidates fragmented interaction data from multiple channels into a single, real-time view, reducing context loss across teams and departments.

Slow Case Resolution Times: Improves response speed by auto-generating case summaries, drafting customer replies, and recommending next steps for human agents.

Inconsistent Omnichannel Experience: Avoids fragmented customer journeys by standardizing routing and service delivery across phone, email, chat, and messaging apps.

High Agent Turnover and Burnout: Cuts down on repetitive manual data entry and routine task load, allowing support teams to focus on more complex, high-value customer needs.

Lack of Operational Visibility: Provides real-time analytics on case volume, resolution metrics, and team performance, making it easier to spot service bottlenecks quickly.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

It centralizes cases, emails, chat, and customer data across every channel into one unified workspace, giving agents a complete view of the customer relationship. Automation and workflows — case routing, escalation rules, SLA tracking — help prioritize and resolve issues faster without adding headcount. It's highly customizable, letting teams tailor everything from routing logic to self-service portals to their specific processes.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The sheer number of features, tabs, and settings can make it hard to quickly find what you need, even with proper training. Setup and UI aren't always optimal — user/profile settings can differ across views, leading to confusion and less granular control than expected. As with other Salesforce clouds, the platform's flexibility means configuration and admin overhead scale up fast, requiring real expertise to keep it running smoothly.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes case tracking, multichannel communication, and customer data into one workspace, cutting down on scattered information and manual follow-up. This speeds up resolution times and improves agent efficiency, letting teams handle higher volumes without adding headcount.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like most about Agentforce Service is how it brings customer service tools, automation, and AI capabilities together in one platform. The ability to automate repetitive tasks, provide agents with relevant customer information, and use AI to assist with service interactions can significantly improve productivity. I also like how customizable it is, allowing teams to tailor workflows, permissions, and processes to their specific business needs.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The main challenge with Agentforce Service is that it can take time and technical expertise to configure and customize effectively. With so many features and options available, the platform can feel complex for new users. Some advanced automations and AI capabilities may also require additional setup, testing, and ongoing maintenance to ensure they work as expected.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps centralize customer information, service requests, and support processes in one platform. It reduces manual work through automation, helps service teams respond faster with relevant customer context, and improves visibility into customer interactions. **What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Service is how it combines traditional case management with autonomous AI agents that can resolve customer issues on their own, not just suggest answers to human agents. It handles routine inquiries end to end, escalating only when needed, which frees the service team to focus on more complex cases while still keeping response times fast.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I dislike about Agentforce Service is that setting up reliable autonomous resolution takes real effort. It requires well-structured knowledge articles and clean data to work well, and getting the agent to handle edge cases without escalating too often or too rarely takes a fair amount of tuning and testing before it feels production-ready.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service is solving the problem of scaling customer support without scaling headcount. It automates resolution of routine cases so human agents can focus on complex, high-value interactions. This benefits us by reducing response times, lowering support costs, and improving customer satisfaction since simple issues get resolved instantly instead of waiting in a queue

What I like most about Agentforce Service is its flexibility and ability to centralize customer service operations in one platform. It provides a clear view of customer interactions, cases, and service history, while features such as Omni-Channel and automation help teams manage workloads more efficiently.

I also appreciate how customizable the platform is, allowing businesses to design service processes around their specific requirements and integrate them with other Salesforce solutions. This makes it easier to improve service consistency, visibility, and collaboration across teams.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The main challenge is the complexity of configuration and customization. Some simple business requirements can require significant technical effort due to dependencies between permissions, automation, integrations, and other Salesforce components. The learning curve can also be steep for new users and administrators.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps solve the challenge of managing customer service operations across different channels and systems. It centralizes customer information, cases, conversations, and service history, giving agents better context when supporting customers.

Features such as Omni-Channel and automation also help with workload management, case routing, and reducing repetitive manual tasks. This benefits us by improving visibility across service operations, making processes more consistent, and allowing the team to focus more on customer issues rather than administrative work.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Service is that it brings customer information, cases, and service workflows together in one place. It helps agents find the right information faster, automate repetitive tasks, and provide more consistent support. I also like the automation capabilities because they can save time and allow teams to focus more on complex customer issues.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

One thing I dislike about Agentforce Service is that it can be a little complex to navigate when there are a lot of customizations and workflows. Finding the right information or understanding why an automation behaved a certain way can sometimes take extra time. It would be helpful if some areas were more intuitive and easier to troubleshoot.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps centralize customer information, cases, and service processes in one place. It reduces manual work through automation and makes it easier to access the information needed to handle customer issues. For me, this improves efficiency, provides better visibility into cases, and helps make the overall support process more consistent.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The strength is that case management, Knowledge, and the Experience Cloud portal all live on the same platform as the rest of the business. At a staffing company that meant the service desk, the self-service portal for associates and clients, and the knowledge base shared one customer record with sales and operations, so a case could pull in the account, the placement, and the history without an integration. Because the whole thing is configuration first, we could go live iteratively: stand up cases and the console, then layer in Knowledge, then open the portal, and keep adding business functions into the same environment instead of buying another system each time. Reporting comes for free on the same objects.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Experience Cloud is the part that takes the most care: external identity, login, and portal permissions are their own project, and the licensing model for external users takes real effort to size correctly. Knowledge needs governance from day one or the article base drifts and search quality with it. Iterative rollouts are possible, but the platform will happily let configuration sprawl, so you need a product owner and a release discipline or the org becomes hard to change. Per-user pricing adds up quickly once the service footprint is company-wide, and the newer Agentforce Service capabilities carry their own licensing on top of the base seats.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In staffing, service questions come from two directions at once: associates asking about pay, schedules, and onboarding, and clients asking about orders and fills. Before, those landed in shared inboxes and phone queues with no shared record. With cases, a Knowledge base, and an Experience Cloud portal on the same platform as sales and operations, every question became a tracked case tied to the right account and placement, the portal deflected the repeat questions, and the knowledge articles gave the desk consistent answers. The bigger win was that the same environment kept absorbing other business functions, so we did not stand up a separate tool each time a team needed a workflow. It paid back.

I like how Agentforce Service makes things easy. Creating cases and managing data has become very efficient. The ability to quickly react to any issues my clients have is a huge plus, and I appreciate that my clients are very happy with the service as well. The ease of data management is a big win for me, and because of this, it saves a lot of my time. I find it really useful that I can just click on a problem and it creates the cases for me, allowing me to link to other data seamlessly. The initial setup was also quick and effortless, which I found impressive. Overall, Agentforce Service helps me a lot in organizing and responding to cases effectively and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I don't really have any complaints about Agentforce Service. Everything seems to be working well for me, and I'm enjoying using it. One thing that could be nice is incorporating a keynote session about CloudForts into the platform, but that's just a little suggestion.

I use Agentforce Service to create cases quickly and manage data efficiently, saving a lot of time and improving client satisfaction.

  ### 30. Promising AI, But Needs Stronger Governance and Simpler Administration

What I like most about Agentforce Service is the potential to bring AI directly into existing Salesforce workflows rather than introducing another standalone tool. I particularly like the ability to automate repetitive service tasks, surface relevant CRM context quickly, and allow agents to take action without constantly navigating between records and systems. From an admin perspective, the most exciting part is the scalability — if configured well, Agentforce could reduce manual effort while creating a much more consistent user experience.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

My biggest concern is the level of governance required once Agentforce moves beyond surfacing information and starts taking actions or writing back to Salesforce. Our Salesforce environment has a lot of interconnected automation, validation rules and business processes, so an AI action that appears simple can have wider downstream impacts. I’d like stronger visibility into exactly what an agent is changing, why it made that decision, and easier controls around which fields and actions it can access. I also think implementation and ongoing administration need to become simpler — the value of Agentforce decreases if significant technical configuration is required for every new use case.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Agentforce Service solves is the amount of manual effort required for users to find information and complete everyday tasks in Salesforce. Instead of navigating through multiple records, fields and processes, users can interact conversationally with Salesforce to surface the right information and take appropriate actions.

For us, the opportunity is to reduce repetitive admin work, make Salesforce easier for users to interact with, improve consistency in how processes are followed, and ultimately allow teams to spend more time on higher-value activities rather than CRM administration.

It also has the potential to improve adoption because users don’t necessarily need to understand every part of Salesforce or know exactly where information lives in order to get what they need.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I like how Agentforce Service brings customer information, case management, and AI-powered assistance into one connected platform. It helps teams respond faster while maintaining context throughout the customer journey. The automation capabilities also reduce repetitive tasks and allow agents to focus on more complex issues. Overall, it creates a more consistent and efficient service experience.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The platform can feel complex to configure and maintain, especially when workflows become highly customized. Some features also require significant training to ensure teams use them effectively. I’d like to see a more intuitive user experience, simpler setup, and greater flexibility without relying heavily on technical resources.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve fragmented customer information, manual processes, and inconsistent case management by centralizing data and automating repetitive tasks. **What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I like the flexibility and customization Agentforce Service provides. It allows us to automate complex business processes using Flow, manage cases and customer interactions in one place, and provide users with a streamlined experience through configurable pages and actions. I also appreciate how easily it integrates with other Salesforce objects and external systems, making it possible to build solutions tailored to specific business needs.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The main challenge I have with Agentforce Service is that it can become overly complex for relatively straightforward business requirements. Configuration is spread across objects, permissions, flows, routing, page layouts, and other components, which can make troubleshooting and maintenance time-consuming. Some features also require custom Flow or Apex development to achieve the exact user experience the business wants. I would like to see simpler configuration, better troubleshooting tools, and more flexibility with native automation and reporting.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps us centralize customer requests, automate repetitive processes, and manage service activities more efficiently. It reduces manual work through workflows and Flow automation, improves visibility with reports and dashboards, and helps ensure requests are routed to the right teams. This has improved response times, data consistency, and overall productivity while allowing us to build solutions that better support our specific business processes.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I dislike about Agentforce Service is that it can take some time to configure and fine-tune AI capabilities to ensure the responses are accurate and aligned with business requirements. It also requires thorough testing and monitoring, especially for complex customer scenarios, to ensure the AI provides reliable results and handles edge cases appropriately.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a result, response times can improve, service team productivity can increase, and the overall customer experience can feel more consistent.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I find most challenging about Agentforce Service is how complex it can be to configure, test, and govern AI-powered workflows. Making sure the system delivers accurate responses and reliable actions—while also maintaining proper data access and consistent performance—takes careful initial setup and ongoing monitoring. On top of that, the learning curve is significant, and the potential cost of scaling AI-driven usage can be a challenge for organizations that want to adopt it broadly.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps solve the challenges of repetitive service requests, slow response times, and fragmented customer information. By combining AI assistance, Salesforce data, knowledge, and service workflows, it helps teams quickly find information, automate routine tasks, and focus on more complex customer needs. For me, the main benefit is improved productivity, faster access to relevant information, and more consistent service while reducing manual effort.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Agentforce Service provides a robust and flexible platform for managing customer and support operations at scale. Its case management, workflow automation, routing capabilities, and integration ecosystem enable organizations to standardize processes while improving visibility across service operations. We have seen strong benefits from automated case assignment, improved SLA management, better reporting, and enhanced customer experience outcomes. The platform is especially valuable for organizations with complex service workflows that require customization and scalability. As Salesforce continues to embed AI capabilities through Agentforce, the potential for agent assistance, knowledge recommendations, and service automation is becoming increasingly compelling.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The platform's flexibility can also be one of its biggest challenges. Implementations often require significant configuration, governance, and administrative expertise to avoid process complexity and technical debt. Reporting and analytics can sometimes be difficult for business users without specialized knowledge, and highly customized environments can become costly to maintain over time. Organizations must invest in strong data quality, process governance, and change management practices to fully realize the platform's value. Additionally, AI and automation capabilities are promising, but achieving measurable outcomes often requires substantial preparation around data, knowledge management, and operational readiness.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps us standardize and automate customer support operations across complex service environments. The platform improves case routing, workflow automation, SLA tracking, and visibility into support performance, reducing manual effort and helping teams resolve issues more consistently. In our experience, improvements in automated case assignment, operational governance, and process standardization have contributed to higher ticket accuracy, reduced ticket volumes, improved customer satisfaction, and better adherence to service levels. It also provides a scalable foundation for introducing AI-powered assistance and service automation capabilities.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I like how Agentforce Service brings customer cases, interactions, knowledge, automation, and reporting into one platform. It gives service teams a complete view of the customer and makes it easier to manage cases efficiently. Features such as queues, assignment rules, flows, knowledge articles, dashboards, and integrations help automate repetitive work and improve response times. It is also highly configurable, which makes it adaptable to different business processes without requiring everything to be custom-built.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The biggest drawback is that the platform can become complex as more automation, integrations, and customizations are added. Initial setup and ongoing administration often require experienced Salesforce resources, especially for larger organizations. Some configurations can also take time to test and deploy properly, and users may need training to take full advantage of all the available features. Licensing and additional functionality can also become expensive as the implementation grows.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps centralize customer cases, communication history, knowledge, and service processes in one place. It reduces manual work through automation such as case routing, assignment rules, workflows, and self-service capabilities. This helps teams respond faster, track issues more consistently, improve visibility across departments, and provide a better overall customer experience. The reporting and dashboards also make it easier to monitor service performance and identify areas for improvement.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Salesforce Service Cloud is how it centralizes customer support into one intelligent ecosystem. It allows agents to have a 360° view of each customer — including cases, interactions, and related data — so service becomes faster and more personalized. I also appreciate the automation features like Omni-Channel Routing, Case Assignment Rules, and Flow that reduce manual work and improve response times. Combined with Einstein AI for next-best actions and knowledge recommendations, it really helps teams deliver proactive, efficient service.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

While Salesforce Service Cloud is extremely powerful, its complexity can be overwhelming at times. There are so many configuration options and dependencies — especially when combining automation (Flows, Omni-Channel, Case Routing, etc.) — that it often requires strong admin or developer oversight to maintain. Also, user adoption can be challenging without proper training because the interface has so many features visible at once.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Service Cloud has streamlined our customer support operations by consolidating all service requests, emails, and case activities into one unified system. It helps our team manage large volumes of inquiries efficiently, track SLAs, and ensure timely follow-ups. Automation through Flows and Omni-Channel routing reduces manual workload and improves response time. As a result, we’ve seen better visibility into case metrics, faster resolution times, and an overall improvement in customer satisfaction.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Salesforce Service Cloud is its ability to centralize all customer interactions across multiple channels—email, chat, phone, and social—in one place. The unified console allows service agents to quickly access case histories, related knowledge articles, and past interactions, which dramatically improves response accuracy and resolution speed. Features like macros, automation rules, and Einstein AI recommendations reduce repetitive tasks and help prioritize urgent cases efficiently. Real-time dashboards and reports provide managers with deep insights into team performance and customer satisfaction trends. Overall, Service Cloud enables a seamless, data-driven customer support experience that enhances both agent productivity and customer trust.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud is its steep learning curve and complex setup process, especially for organizations without dedicated administrators. Configuring workflows, omni-channel routing, and custom reports often requires specialized knowledge, which can delay full adoption. The interface can also feel cluttered when too many components or custom fields are added, potentially confusing new agents. Integration with external systems is powerful but sometimes demands additional middleware or developer support. Lastly, licensing and feature-based add-ons can raise overall costs quickly, making it less accessible for smaller support teams.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Service Cloud solves major challenges in managing fragmented customer inquiries and inconsistent support quality across channels. Before its adoption, our team handled emails, calls, and chat messages separately, leading to duplicated efforts and missed follow-ups. With Service Cloud, all interactions are centralized into one console, providing a full 360-degree view of each customer. Automated case routing ensures that issues reach the right agent quickly, while macros and templates reduce repetitive responses. The built-in Knowledge Base empowers agents to share accurate solutions instantly, improving first-contact resolution rates. Dashboards and AI-driven insights also help managers identify bottlenecks and track customer satisfaction in real time. As a result, response time and service consistency have both improved significantly.

  ### 39. Complete service platform with strong routing and automation, but add-on licensing adds up

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

From an implementation partner perspective, Agentforce Service covers the core of a contact center out of the box: case management, the Service Console, Omni-Channel routing, Knowledge, and Entitlements/Milestones for SLA tracking. Flow makes it easy to automate triage, assignment and escalations without custom code, and email-to-case and messaging channels bring everything into a single agent workspace. The Agentforce layer is a real step forward for case deflection and agent assistance when the knowledge base is well maintained, and being on the same platform as Sales and industry clouds gives clients a true 360 view of the customer.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Many capabilities that clients assume are included come as add-ons, such as digital engagement channels, voice, and consumption-based pricing for Agentforce, which makes budgeting and proposals harder. Omni-Channel configuration (skills-based routing, capacity models, presence statuses) has a steep learning curve, and CTI/telephony integrations often need extra effort. Some legacy behavior, like email-to-case threading and limited reporting on case history, still requires workarounds. Agentforce results depend heavily on data and knowledge quality, so clients need to invest in that before expecting value.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It replaces fragmented support processes, such as shared mailboxes, spreadsheets and disconnected ticketing tools, with a single platform where every case, channel and customer interaction is tracked. For our clients this means faster response times, consistent SLA management through Entitlements and Milestones, and automated routing that gets cases to the right agent the first time. As an implementation partner, Flow and Omni-Channel let us automate triage and escalations with little custom code, which shortens delivery and keeps maintenance low. Agentforce adds case deflection and agent assistance on top, reducing repetitive work for support teams.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I appreciate the 24/7 support from Agentforce Service, which is essential to ensure that a helicopter is never grounded and to automatically address priority cases. This continuous support also allows for real-time escalation and case tracking, ensuring actionability in support management. Additionally, the 5-star customer support is a real plus for efficiently managing and tracking cases within the same application.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Customizing the application to align with very specific business processes is a challenge. The configuration quickly becomes complex, especially with the addition of new features like the prompt builder. The flows have already become complicated for me, increasing the difficulty of managing the application as needs evolve.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Agentforce Service to manage customer support, ensuring that our helicopters are never grounded for more than 24 hours. It allows for automatic responses and real-time case tracking, ensuring continuous and efficient support.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

As a strategist in the highly regulated Life Sciences sector, what I value most about Agentforce Service is its robust architecture for building autonomous, secure AI agents. I recently developed the "MediComm Regulatory Auditor" on this platform, an AI agent that automates the auditing of medical advertising texts according to strict COFEPRIS guidelines. <br><br>The standout feature is its ability to integrate Knowledge RAG, which effectively prevents AI hallucinations and ensures clinical accuracy. <br><br>Additionally, I love how it handles the execution of logic flows for data persistence within the CRM, while maintaining secure escalation protocols to human specialists when needed

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Because Agentforce is such a powerful and sophisticated enterprise tool, the initial setup and mapping of complex regulatory frameworks (like healthcare compliance) require a steep learning curve. While the Knowledge RAG is excellent at preventing hallucinations once operational, getting your data foundation perfectly clean, structured, and grounded before deployment takes significant time, technical rigor, and cross-functional alignment. It is not a simple "plug-and-play" solution for highly regulated industries, though the final ROI makes the deep implementation effort completely worth it.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service solves the critical bottleneck of regulatory compliance in medical advertising. I used the platform to design and develop the "MediComm Regulatory Auditor", an autonomous AI agent. It effectively solves the problem of AI hallucinations in highly regulated environments through the successful integration of Knowledge RAG. Furthermore, it streamlines our workflows by executing logic flows for data persistence within the CRM and providing secure escalation protocols to human specialists when necessary. This benefits us by ensuring strict adherence to COFEPRIS guidelines while optimizing strategic processes and decision-making

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

It provides complete and meaningful information to our dispatchers and technicians, with an intuitive interface.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Not much really. It's such a far cry from the way we previously ran our service business that even the nuances aren't really detractors. If I had to pick a something to dislike, it would be the inability to change certain field names or hide certain information that salesforce needs, but is irrelevant to our business. IE: we use a specific format for work order numbering. Salesforce requires the salesforce work order number to appear in several places which can clutter a user interface with information that is irrelevant to them.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce has allowed us to modernize our service work processes, taking what used to be an entirely manual process in an antiquated platform and provide a present day solution along with the scalability and flexibility to keep us relevant in the future.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like most is how Agentforce Service brings customer-service work, case management, knowledge, automation, and AI capabilities together in one connected platform. It gives support teams useful context about customers and past interactions, which can help reduce manual work and create a more consistent experience across channels.

I also appreciate the flexibility. Teams can tailor workflows, routing, dashboards, and knowledge content to match how they actually operate, while the AI capabilities have the potential to help agents find answers faster and focus more time on complex customer needs.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Like most powerful enterprise platforms, there can be a learning curve—especially when configuring automation, data models, permissions, integrations, and AI experiences. Getting the most value from the platform often requires thoughtful planning, clean data, and ongoing governance rather than simply turning features on.

Some advanced functionality may also require additional licenses or technical resources, so it is important for teams to clearly prioritize their service goals and rollout plan.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service helps solve the challenge of managing customer support across different channels, tools, and teams. Instead of agents having to jump between systems to find customer details, case history, knowledge articles, and next steps, it brings that information into a more centralized workspace.

It also helps reduce repetitive manual tasks through case routing, automation, templates, and AI-assisted support. That makes it easier to respond more consistently, keep cases organized, and give agents more time to focus on complex or high-value customer conversations. Overall, it helps improve visibility for managers and creates a smoother experience for both support teams and customers.

Automation, routing, knowledge management, and AI capabilities also make it easier to reduce repetitive work and improve the overall customer experience.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Agentforce Service is very powerful, but the number of features and configuration options can make implementation and ongoing administration complex. Features such as routing, automation, permissions, and integrations require careful design to avoid unnecessary complexity. It can also take time for users and administrators to fully understand and make effective use of all the available capabilities.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

From an architecture perspective, I particularly value the ability to orchestrate the entire service journey from omnichannel intake and intelligent routing to knowledge, automation, proactive engagement, and AI-powered resolution without creating disconnected point solutions. The combination of trusted Salesforce data and Agentforce also makes it possible to deliver much more personalized and context-aware service at scale.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

The biggest challenge I see with Agentforce Service is that getting the full value from the platform can require significant architecture, configuration, and data maturity. Agent performance is heavily dependent on having clean, well-governed CRM data, strong knowledge content, clearly defined processes, and well-designed guardrails.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit for me is productivity and scalability. Service teams can spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on high-value customer interactions, while customers get faster, more consistent, and more personalized support. From an architecture perspective, I also value having AI, CRM data, automation, and human engagement working together within the same service ecosystem.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

From a program and transformation perspective, I particularly value how Agentforce Service integrates seamlessly with the broader Salesforce ecosystem, enabling a scalable, governed, and enterprise-ready service model. Its ability to improve agent productivity, reduce service costs, and deliver consistent customer experiences across channels makes it a strong platform for global customer service transformations.
Key aspects you would likely appreciate:

1. Leverages existing Service Cloud investments rather than requiring a separate AI platform or service transformation program.
2. Brings AI into the flow of work, assisting agents with case summarization, knowledge retrieval, next-best actions, and response generation.
3.Scales globally through a template-and-localization approach, aligning well with large enterprise rollout models.
Integrates with Data Cloud and enterprise data sources, enabling more contextual and personalized service experiences.
4. Ease of use for business
5. Ease of Implementation and reduced GTM timeline

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

AI effectiveness is heavily dependent on data quality and knowledge management maturity.
Business value can be difficult to quantify early, especially if success metrics and governance models are not established upfront.
Licensing and AI consumption costs require careful oversight, particularly for global deployments.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. It builds on existing Service Cloud investments, rather than forcing teams to adopt a separate AI platform or undertake a major service transformation program.
2. It brings AI directly into the flow of work, helping agents with case summarization, knowledge retrieval, next-best actions, and response generation.
3. It can scale globally through a template-and-localization approach, which fits well with large enterprise rollout models.
4. It supports measurable business outcomes, including reduced handling time, improved agent productivity, and faster case resolution.
5. It includes governance and control mechanisms, enabling organizations to balance innovation with compliance, security, and cost management.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) is its comprehensive case management capabilities. It allows support teams to manage customer inquiries efficiently through a centralized platform, providing a clear view of each case and its history. The integration with multiple communication channels—email, chat, and social media—ensures that customers can be served wherever they are.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Complex Setup and Customization Many users find the platform overly complex to configure. Setting up workflows, automations, and custom objects often requires specialized knowledge or dedicated administrators. Steep Learning Curve With its vast feature set, new users can feel overwhelmed. Training teams to use the platform efficiently can take considerable time and effort. Cost and Licensing The service is often seen as expensive, especially for smaller businesses, and additional features frequently require add-ons or higher-tier licenses.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It adds more automation and makes it easier for the team to work.

  ### 48. Autonomous AI Grounded in CRM Data for Scalable Support

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Autonomous AI Grounded in CRM Data
Agentforce subagents can seamlessly pull Knowledge Articles and relevant CRM context in real time to resolve routine customer inquiries autonomously, which significantly reduces the workload for human agents.

Intelligent Omni-Channel Routing & Flow Integration
Omni-Channel routing effectively handles queue assignments, session ownership, and inactivity timeouts, and Screen Flows help agents carry out complex backend service processes with less friction.

Unified Platform Scalability
With service cases, messaging channels (MIAW), and AI automation all unified on Salesforce Unlimited Edition, we have a single source of truth that supports consistent, scalable support operations.

Easy Updates
It is easy to edit an agent right on the spot, edit embedded service deployments for the chat settings, and accept live transfers.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Complex Subagent Configuration & Prompt Tuning
Configuring AI subagents, fine-tuning instruction prompts, and managing security integrations (such as reCAPTCHA API keys) takes substantial administrative effort and repeated testing to get right.

Opaque Debugging & Execution Logs
It can be challenging to understand why an autonomous agent chose a particular action or why it failed to retrieve a Knowledge Article, because the diagnostic and execution logs are not always clear or easy to interpret.

High Configuration Effort for Routing & Ownership
Building detailed Omni-Channel flows, defining session ownership transfer rules, and setting up cross-channel routing requires significant technical expertise to avoid dropped or misrouted customer chats. On top of that, Omni-Channel status can automatically switch from online to offline during the day without the user noticing, which increases the risk of missing incoming live chats.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High Support Volume & Repetitive Inquiries
Problem: Human service agents spend too much time answering routine questions and searching through documentation, which leads to longer queue wait times.
Benefit: Agentforce AI subagents automatically retrieve Knowledge Articles and resolve standard inquiries in real time, deflecting low-level cases and freeing support reps to focus on more complex issues.

Inefficient Messaging & Chat Management
Problem: Managing inactive chat sessions and handling handoffs between automated bots and live reps can result in dropped sessions and customer frustration.
Benefit: Messaging for In-App and Web (MIAW), paired with Omni-Channel routing, manages session ownership, enforces inactivity timeouts, and smoothly escalates chats to live agents when needed.

Manual Backend Data Entry & Field Service Workflows
Problem: Reps and field teams spend excessive time navigating across disparate screens and manually updating records, which can cause data errors and delay case resolution.
Benefit: Guided Screen Flows automate multi-step updates, photo upload validations, and record creation directly within the service console, helping standardize data collection and reduce handling time.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

I like the ease of integration with CCaaS platforms and the ability to work on cases while on calls within the same portal. The case management workflows are helpful, allowing our customer service representatives to efficiently work on issues for our health insurance members. I find these workflows contribute to improving customer satisfaction by resolving cases in a good manner.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud)?**

Not all of our service happens within the call center, and some of our service reps want to be able to access services from within Microsoft Teams. I also don't think Agentforce Service offers workforce management. There's workforce engagement, but not workforce management, which is a gap for us.

**What problems is Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Service speeds up case resolution, improves contact center coaching and quality management, integrates easily with CCaaS platforms, and allows our reps to handle cases while on calls in one portal, which boosts customer satisfaction.
