instantly brings all your sales related objects in billing together. I have configured railcars,SAAS  products, hardware, professional services, you name it I've done it with revenue cloud. We have completely modernized our billing, invoicing and found revenue leakage, do the discounts and concessions with the tools, out of the box in revenue cloud. I tell people all the time if you're salesforce, admin's are good then revenue cloud is easy to learn because it's still just Salesforce . Why would you go buy another tool for them to learn ? The learning curve for your front line sales teams is also very short because they already know Salesforce .

it is very heavy of a change management process, but the tool is greet. You just have to have the change management process and training lines  up as you roll it out.

we have solved so many automation issues around revenue leakage, deal approvals, billing and invoicing with the tool kit. We were also able to update our pricing matrix with reporting data straight out of revenue cloud, because again it's just Salesforce objects.

It is fairly good at being able to grow profitability .
The ability to unify customer touchpoints within the CRM with recurring revenue streams, buying journey and reduction of operating costs is subperb.

It can be quite difficult to implement.
It turned out to be more costly than expected to implement the solution.
Configuration is difficult as business processes tend to be complex and hard to model.

I like that its UI is pretty self explanatory and user friendly. I also like that when entering dates, you can just click today and not have to manually select the day's current date

Revenue Cloud has enabled our organization to move to the next level in Salesforce by bring the entire selling process into one system allowing for complete lifecycle in one place.  By adding the revenue cloud, we can now see the entire process through customer invoicing which is valuable when measuring success.

Overall, I would say the Revenue Cloud is a great addition to Salesforce but there is some issues with reporting on multiple objects under this package.  Customizing these reports has been challenging.

Revenue cloud is allowings our organization to expand on the current CPQ enabled selling by seeing the entire process in one system. This eliminates the need to look to another system to find information related to the customer and their current contracts/orders.  This is also allowing the organization to measure the full life cycle from lead to billing and streamline where available.

My focus in revenue cloud is specifically in the CPQ configuration and administration space. I like the way that CPQ is both very flexible yet also provides guardrails for users. That combination creates a very scalabale canvas upon which to build and continue to iterate our product offering.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Revenue Management (formerly Salesforce Revenue Cloud)?**

In terms of being an administrator for CPQ, it can be very difficult or to migrate between environments. We have a partner solution that helps with this greatly but it can be difficult for a new admin to pick up since the record-based configuration of CPQ is so different than other general salesforce administration tasks.

I love the ability to creat contracts in CPQ and amend them over time. This creates a cohesive experience for sales and customers through the entire customer lifecycle.

No code approach to most of the functionality makes it a good solution in terms customization. A lot of functionality is just a data configuration that allows to implement complex pricing rules and product structures.

Making it a data driven implementation makes it more difficult to migrated between environments. There's no official tool (yet) that allows that. The billing portion feels a bit undercooked and needs some polish. You need to do a lot of homework to get implemented the right way.

Some of the features of revenue cloud prevent us from doing what we need to do. It's usually minor things and not totally a dealbreaker but some small tweaks would make it even better.

We liked the versatile nature of bundles. The development of quotes and have an output is really helpful. We have a need for the approvals too.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Revenue Management (formerly Salesforce Revenue Cloud)?**

With the things we like, we have a complicated bundling. The calculations are slow and often not automatic. There is always a need to refresh. The flexibility in the bundles once they're built is limited.

**What problems is Agentforce Revenue Management (formerly Salesforce Revenue Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're updating and moving away from an extensive excel file. The benefit is we wee now capturing historical data that is traditionally living in a singular PC or inbox
