"Flexible Identity Management with Powerful Capabilities"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I love that SailPoint offers a flexible, modular implementation, which allowed us to iteratively build our solution in a complex environment. This flexibility made the transition from our old system smoother by enabling us to gradually expand functionality. Once our engineers got comfortable with the system, making progress was much quicker, which I really appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

Some of our core code has become complex, and we realized late in the day that we needed to change it, which proved to be quite difficult. However, I'm not sure how SailPoint could have made that easier for us. Also, a peer forum to share technical challenges would be awesome. SailPoint has good support, but sometimes being able to discuss a challenge with a peer would allow different perspectives to potentially simplify the problem. "Effortless Integration, Robust Access Governance and Lifecycle Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

Ease of integration and customization compared to other IAM tools. Customization on UI with Sailpoint IIQ as its stored within Apache Servers. CAn be scalable with multiple task and UI Servers with a Load Balancer in place. Pricing is handled by a different team all together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

Support resolution times are often slow, which creates frustrating delays when critical issues come up. On top of that, managing and validating custom code within IIQ feels cumbersome, and the tooling isn’t modern or streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Identity Governance and Compliance Visibility for Complex Enterprises"
4/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

SailPoint stands out for its strong identity governance capabilities, helping manage user access through automated provisioning, access certifications, and policy enforcement. It’s highly flexible and customizable, which makes it a good fit for complex enterprise environments. The platform also delivers clear visibility into who has access to what, and it supports compliance by maintaining detailed audit trails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

Customizations such as rules and workflows can be challenging to debug and manage, especially in larger environments. The user interface also feels less intuitive than many newer tools, which can make day-to-day use harder for both end users and administrators. On top of that, upgrades and integrations tend to be resource-intensive and usually require careful planning and thorough testing to avoid issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Identity Governance with Powerful Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

What I like best about SailPoint is the centralized visibility it provides over identities and access. The platform offers a clear interface, strong integration capabilities, and useful automation for access requests, role management, and certifications. It helps us improve governance while reducing manual work. SailPoint is expensive, but the value is there for large organizations with complex access governance needs. The automation, centralized visibility, and stronger compliance controls can justify the cost by reducing manual work and security risks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

What I dislike most is that configuration and troubleshooting can sometimes be complex, especially when integrations, aggregations, or identity refreshes fail. Error messages are not always clear, and some changes take time to propagate. The platform is powerful, but the administrative experience and learning curve could be smoother. "Comprehensive Identity Management, But Needs Simpler UI"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I like that SailPoint automates access management and reduces manual work. The access review process is easy to manage and helps improve security. It provides good visibility into who has access across the organization. I also appreciate the segregation of duty policies and the JML process. Integrating applications with SailPoint is made easier with the help of agents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

SailPoint is a powerful platform, but some configurations can be complex and require specialized knowledge. The user interface could be more intuitive in certain areas. Integrations and customization can sometimes take significant effort and time. Improved reporting and easier troubleshooting would make the platform even better. "Smooth, User-Friendly with Feature-Rich Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I find SailPoint very smooth and user-friendly, especially for creating utilities and rules. I appreciate the variety of features it offers, including professional services, which I find very nice to utilize. SailPoint's security and range of features make it more feasible compared to other products I have used before. I also like the self-service feature that allows users to create roles themselves following a couple of simple steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

I think SailPoint could improve its batch processing speeds. Right now, when we're running batches, it takes a lot of time, especially when handling tasks like processing 5,000 user entries. I feel like if there were some process improvements, the batch assignments could go smoother and quicker. Also, it would be helpful if SailPoint had a built-in SQL window to run queries directly, rather than having to connect externally to the database to fetch data. Lastly, I think there should be notifications for any roles created without properties. That way, we could spot and correct errors where roles have been mistakenly created without attributes. "Solid identity management with room for improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I find the reliable management of identities and the lifecycle by SailPoint really good. There are virtually no system outages, which ensures a very stable Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) system. The integration of additional applications is not necessarily easy. After the depreciation, only maintenance costs remain due to the purchase licenses. Thus, it is a cost-effective software product. The product support from SailPoint is good. Support requests are responded to quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

The implementation of new solutions is very much associated with coding. SailPoint should work more workflow-driven. Likewise, the user frontend needs to be revised and adapted to new UI possibilities. From my perspective, SailPoint has somewhat missed the connection with the IIQ solution. The use of AI solutions should also be supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

What I like most about SailPoint is how it simplifies identity and access management. It makes it straightforward to request, manage, and review access to applications, while helping ensure the right people have the appropriate level of access. The automated approval workflows and governance features strengthen security, cut down on manual effort, and make the overall access management process more efficient. "Automates Access Management with Improved Visibility"
4/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I like SailPoint for the automation and visibility it provides. It really makes managing user access a lot easier, especially during onboarding, offboarding, and access reviews. The automation helps reduce manual effort, and the better control over security and compliance is something I appreciate. I also find the visibility valuable because it allows us to quickly see who has access to which systems and identify any inappropriate or unnecessary access. These capabilities make access management more efficient, consistent, and easier to audit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

One area that could be improved is the overall user experience. Some workflows can feel complex and configuration or troubleshooting may require specialized knowledge. I'd also like to see simpler administration, more intuitive reporting, and easier customization of workflows and dashboards. Improving these areas would make SailPoint easier to manage and more accessible to a broader range of users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized, Scalable Identity Governance That Boosts Security and Compliance"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

What I like best about SailPoint is its ability to centralize and automate identity governance at scale. It helps organizations manage user access throughout the entire identity lifecycle, improving security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

It’s difficult to run tests in development environments, for example. I have some certifications, but I can only test scenarios in my company’s environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
