The notifications are nice, and it’s also affordable compared to other payroll programs. The integrations seem nice, but we don’t use them. Support is easy to contact, and the chat is simple to use. AI hasn’t been super helpful, but I can always seem to reach someone when I need to. The security precautions are nice as well. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** We’ve had an issue adding an admin who is also an employee. Other payroll systems I’ve used have allowed an employee profile to be made an admin without having to create a separate profile. We ran into a problem because this employee only has one phone number, and we couldn’t attach it to both accounts. We’ve also had issues with multiple people working in the same payroll. There’s a lot to enter, and we have several people who review and double-check it. It’s been glitchy to have it open on multiple computers at the same time, although I understand some of that may also come down to communication on our part. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have run payroll using paper spreadsheets, so using online payroll is always great. The client portals are a nice feature because clients can access their documents without having to contact me. I also like that I can start entering payroll and finish it later when I’m ready. It’s user-friendly, and having great customer support that I can reach whenever I need it is a big plus. The pricing is also affordable for the level of support and service you get. We’re currently in the process of integrating our health insurance with ADP, and so far it has been the best experience. We used to do everything manually, but once I learned you could integrate everything, it immediately made our lives easier. I also like that the payroll schedule doesn’t feel as cramped as it does with other payroll providers. Overall, the website feels top-tier. I can create reports in seconds, access forms directly on the site, and simply invite new employees so they can create their own profiles and upload their own files. I also want to commend their AI: there are times when the customer support line is long, but most of the time the AI can easily answer my questions. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** In all honesty, the only thing I don’t like about RUN is that it can be slow at times, or I’ll have trouble logging in. Other than that, I can’t really think of anything else to complain about. As I searched for my password, I was surprised to discover that my notification emails prior to each payroll cycle had stopped six months prior. — After hours of unsuccessful logins and dead ends, I found out that my account access had been removed without notifying me — in spite of the fact that ADP had continued to process my payroll and charge their monthly fee (which is why things had appeared normal). — The customer service agent was prohibited both from unarchiving my account, and from creating a new login (b/c my primary email was already associated with the original account). It took several hours of phone calls to resolve this issue. — I should have received multiple emails, phone calls, and text messages before an action so extreme as permanently removing my account access was taken. — It turns out that the default behavior of the ADP system is to archive an account if the owner does not "regularly" log in — but this necessity is not made known, there are no prompts to log in, and even the customer service agent didn't know what login frequency is required. This is insane behavior for a system that is designed to be "set it and forget it." Moreover, it is incredibly irresponsible for a financial institution I had trusted with hundreds of thousands of dollars.
