Also enjoyed the chat function both privately and publically. Google Chrome worked best, but Firefox was also supposed to work - it didn't work half as well. I emailed the support email provided and heard back within a few hours! **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** The one feature I was disappointed to find didn't exist was sharing sound easily without sharing my screen. The pic in pic was very glitchy, and there was a good amount of lag that was not on my network end. It allows users to create virtual and in- person events in their own organisation as well as join external events across the world, both paid and free events. I have hosted two virtual events at my organization and the experience has been seamless with interactive content capabilities enabled by Hopin. You can create an event schedule for your participants, private message/connect with the host or a participant. Also, moderating events is extremely easy with Hopin. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** Hopin doesn't allow for customisations in the form of custom emails, custom registration form field, and branding in the 'Starter' paid version. And in the world of hybrid events, that is an absolute standout. We also love that attendees are able to direct message each other from within the app - in a world where privacy is paramount, the fact that attendees have control over this setting is brilliant - and many of them do want other attendees to be able to reach them! **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** Some feature releases can be quite lagging on promised dates. Also formatting and styling within the hub can be limited. It's insanely easy to use. 2. Their documentation. It has been so easy to find step by step information on features and functions within the platform. 3. Cost. I think the pricing is very fair and I hope they keep it that way. **What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?** There are two things that I feel could be improved. We have had issues when working with our presenters and some attendees when it comes to logging in and getting to where they need to go. Example: I give a presenter a backstage link, they click that link, and then Hopin needs them to log in first. They log in but then get taken to their account and then get confused about what to do. They go back and click the backstage link which then opens in a new tab. Most of them leave the account tab open and that ends up creating an echo and we have to tell them to close the other tab. Also, when they go to an event page to join, they are asked to log in and when that page opens the main form is to create an account. At the top of the page in smaller text it gives the already have an account option. For some presenters, there was confusion, and they were filling out the create an account form only to find out they already have an account. They just assumed that was the login form because that was the main thing they saw. I wish there was a different way for presenters to access the event so that they don't have to go through the join event process like the attendees. It's just another step that causes some confusion. **Recommendations to others considering RingCentral Events:** It's an everything you need to host an online event platform! **What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** We typically hold an in-person conference every year and due to the current covid situation, we had to cancel our in-person conference that we have been hosting for 27 years. Thanks to Hopin and it's abilities, we have been able to move to a 100% Virtual conference and deliver amazing content while allowing our attendees to network with one another. While I don't believe virtual events will replace in-person events, this platform allows many events to happen that normally wouldn't have. In a sense, Hopin has helped us save our business. We are hosting an in-person conference again next year but will be offering live-stream to those who can't attend the in-person using Hopin. ### 38.
