Would highly recommend. **What do you dislike about H&R Block?** The only thing that I did not like about it is that you have to pay extra fees for services that I thought should have been included with the already substantial price that you pay for the product. **What problems is H&R Block solving and how is that benefiting you?** The software helps us to keep track of everything financial and without that we would not be able to have insight into key metrics that help us to determine major financial decisions. ### 4. I had to enter it manually the first time, but then it remembered all of your data. **What problems is H&R Block solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am completing my taxes without having to pay a lot to my accountant. ### 5. I also like that the update bug has been fixed, so forms updates performed flawlessly in the 2020 version. (2018 & 2019 were buggy.) I very much appreciate the audit support and available support from H&R Block tax experts. The contextual help is also great, because it often saves time. If additional help is required, it's easy to get to and easy to understand. Finally, I like the fact that the price is so much lower than Turbotax. **What do you dislike about H&R Block?** Occasionally the error checker will reveal previously corrected errors as still being an issue. **What problems is H&R Block solving and how is that benefiting you?** It simply helps me get my taxes done relatively painlessly. My tax situation is not complex enough to require professional help but complex enough to prevent me from attempting to fill in the IRS forms on my own. ### 6. I would like the ability to preview the return and schedules as I work on it, so I can see if I missed anything. I also don’t like when it tells you to upgrade, or that you need a tax pro. I would like to disable that. **Recommendations to others considering H&R Block:** Get the top line product to begin with. I can easily look up deductions that I didn't know existed and it's fast -- I don't have to do any of the calculations by myself and all the personal info from last year is retained so I don't have to reenter it. **What do you dislike about H&R Block?** I don't like doing business taxes with it. Even with the easy-to-use layout, I find it difficult to figure out business deductions and depreciations, so much so that I just don't use those deductions. Our small business doesn't have a big income or a lot that is depreciating, so I don't feel like it's enough to pay someone to figure them out, but I hate that I don't feel like I can claim those deductions by doing our taxes by myself. **Recommendations to others considering H&R Block:** It's mostly easy to use, but you may have to do some research to figure out some of the more detailed things. **What problems is H&R Block solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have to pay someone to do the taxes.
