"Powerful Omnichannel Platform for Advanced Workflow Automation"
What do you like best about respond.io?

Respond.io stands out as a serious omnichannel platform rather than a simple chat inbox. What I like most is how flexible and structured it is for building real business workflows across WhatsApp and other messaging channels.

The workflow automation is powerful enough to handle lead qualification, routing, follow-ups, escalation rules, and handover between AI and human agents without breaking. This makes it suitable for complex setups such as multi-outlet businesses, agencies, and teams with strict SOPs.

Integrations are another major strength. Respond.io works very well with external CRMs, booking tools, webhooks, and automation platforms, allowing us to design end-to-end systems instead of disconnected tools. Once set up properly, it is very reliable and scalable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

There is a learning curve, especially for teams that are new to automation or system-based thinking. Respond.io is not a plug-and-play tool, and users who expect instant results without proper setup may struggle initially.

Because the platform evolves quickly, teams need to keep their internal documentation and SOPs updated. Without this discipline, it is easy for less experienced users to misconfigure workflows or overcomplicate things.

Pricing can feel high for small businesses if they are not fully utilising automation, integrations, or multi-agent features. The value becomes clear only when the platform is used properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from George Wong of respond.io

Thank you so much for the detailed and thoughtful review! We’re really glad to hear that you see the full value of respond.io and that it’s supporting your business in meaningful ways. Building structured, scalable workflows across WhatsApp and other channels is exactly what the platform was designed for.

It’s great to know that automation, AI–human handovers, and CRM integrations are helping you support complex setups while staying reliable at scale.

We also appreciate your honest feedback about the learning curve and pricing. Respond.io does require a more intentional setup, especially for teams new to automation, and we agree that the value becomes clearest when teams fully leverage workflows, integrations, and multi-agent capabilities.

Thanks again for sharing such a comprehensive perspective. We’re proud to support teams like yours in building disciplined, scalable sales and support operations, and we look forward to continuing to grow alongside you. 🚀

"Payment issues and very unethical"
What do you like best about respond.io?

We liked how we could manage whatsapp templates Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

They way they treated our team after payment issues, I spent hours on the phone to the bank teying to get them paid as their charges were suspicious and they were flagged.

We sorted it and explained but we paid for the overdue invoice and explained the issue and they told us we paid for the period the account was frozen when the account was inactive.

We explained but the account was inactive there should be no charge and we couldn't pay because there is something suspicious on their side, we just want what we paid for becaise the payment issie has caused us to waste a lot of time. They refused to help and kept the money and wanted us to pay for 3 months while only having received one month of the service.

Charging for services you didn't provide is no right and we assume that is why they are flagged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from George Wong of respond.io

Thank you for your feedback — we’re sorry to hear about the frustration caused and appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

As per our Terms of Service, accounts in a frozen state remain technically active in order to preserve customer data and continue processing incoming messages. This ensures no message is lost and your WhatsApp API connection remains uninterrupted. Charges during this period are valid and in line with these policies.

In this case, a refund was issued and we remained in communication throughout to ensure transparency and support. If you have any further concerns, we’re here to help: https://respond.io/contact

Thanks again for your feedback and for giving respond.io a try.
