"Seamless Communication, AI, and 24/7 Support: A Platform that Drives Quality Leads."
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

The ease of the tool for having effective communication with all our clients daily and the fluidity of the platform, the support tools for our users, the AI included for the benefit of attending to our clients, and the best part is that all this combines with support in marketing topics for lead generation and excellent data delivery through Capi to our accounts on Meta; the Capi topic generates better-qualified leads, ensuring a faster return on investment, as we now have better leads that convert more quickly into our clients. Additionally, the support is extraordinary, available 24/7 not only with messages but also with calls when necessary and continuous meetings. During the implementation, they were very good, providing support throughout the month with constant video calls, truly excellent service. Another important point is the platform's speed for heavy workloads; with more than 2,000 clients and different workflows working simultaneously, the platform's speed and all the tools have been a very good experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

It could probably be the issue of AI credits, as the 10,000 credits in the plan I'm on might be a bit tight. Increasing that limit could improve the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

Better-qualified leads that convert faster is the outcome that matters most, and it is good to see the Conversions API setup delivering that for you. Running more than 2,000 clients through parallel workflows without losing speed is the kind of volume respond.io is built to handle. On AI credits, if your usage is growing past your current allowance, our team can walk you through the options for your setup at https://respond.io/contact.

"The best tool to centralize and simplify communication with clients"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

I like that respond.io allows me to communicate with my clients or potential clients through different channels like WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, and email, all centralized in one inbox. This facilitates communication and CRM-type control, allowing for more organized management without having to open different applications. What I like most is that it is easy to use, it doesn't complicate you with technical things or API conditions. Moreover, the initial setup was super easy, in less than a day we had everything ready to answer our clients' frequently asked questions. It is undoubtedly the best tool there is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

Well, I think that maybe the application sometimes doesn't notify, but I have solved it with some automations that it has integrated with it, so, more than anything, the application could be improved just a little bit, but apart from that, everything works quite well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hands-On Customer Success: Technical Depth and True Business Partnership"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

I'm a strategy & digital transformation advisor and have been implementing respond.io for one of my clients. I wanted to leave a review specifically about our customer success manager, Joshua L.

In my experience, CSMs tend to fall into one of two camps. Great at the relationship side but vague when things get technical, or technically sharp but not particularly invested in your actual business. Joshua is neither. He genuinely took the time to understand our client's business, asks the right questions, and clearly cares about whether they succeed, not just whether they're happy with the platform.

What stood out most was a recent call where we got into the weeds of building out AI agents and workflows together. Rather than handing us off to someone else or sending over a help article, he rolled up his sleeves and worked through it with us. That kind of combination, real technical depth plus genuine business interest, is rare, and it makes a big difference when you're in the early stages of figuring things out.

We're still building, but already seeing real potential. A lot of that confidence comes from knowing we have someone like Joshua in our corner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

That I didn't start implementing it sooner! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

Building the AI Agents and workflows with you on the call, instead of handing you off or sending a help article, is how we want customer success to work here at respond.io!

You're right that it's rare to get both sides! Plenty of people are good at the relationship or good at the technical detail, and fewer are good at both. It matters most early on, because the setup decisions you make now shape everything after.

"No costs per user, intuitive flows, and AI support: a fluid and comprehensive platform"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

There are no costs per user; this is the biggest strength for me because, in my experience with similar platforms, the main barrier I had faced was not being able to add my entire team due to the high user license costs. Something else I love is the configuration of the workflows, which are very intuitive. As for documentation and technical support, they are very comprehensive; they have an AI agent that resolves all my questions and problems. It is also one of the only platforms that allows me to integrate TikTok Ads. The platform works very smoothly both on the web and the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

It would be necessary to add Google Ads and a customized reports section with the option to include both open and closed conversations at the same time and to be able to export it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

No per-user cost, intuitive workflow config, and TikTok Ads alongside every other channel is a fair picture of what respond.io does for a team running multiple functions at once. On Google Ads and a customised reports section that pulls open and closed conversations together with export, both are specific asks the product team should see directly, https://roadmap.respond.io is the right place to raise them.

"Sleek UI, Fast Onboarding, and AI Agents That Drive Real Sales"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

First of all, the UI is sleek and easy to figure out. My many different channels have been easy to connect from the beginning. The site has been live and we have not had site downtime or trouble in the 3 months we have used the product. The pricing is completely fair and through the platfrom we have been able to convert multiple leads to sales leading to our best performing month ever as a company.

Respond.io onboarded us quickly and also quickly scheduled a technical call when we needed further support.

The AI agents where easy to set up and have been life savers. They buy us time responding intelligently to leads until our team of salespeople can step in for a deeper conservation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

The way leads are organized in the inbox was frustrating at first. When I respond to a lead, that conversation shifts to a different spot in the inbox, which makes it harder to keep track of what came in when. I think it would work better with more of an email-style order, where leads stay organized by the order they arrive.

I’m sure more features, like additional organization options, will be available in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

Great to hear the AI Agents ended up doing real work, buying time until your team could step in, on top of a smooth onboarding and quick support experience. On the inbox order, there are a few ways to sort and filter conversations that might get closer to what you're after. Our support team can walk you through the options at https://respond.io/contact, and if none of them fit, you can raise it as a feature request at https://roadmap.respond.io.

"End-to-End Revenue Lifecycle Management That Scales High-Volume Conversations"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

What I like best about respond.io is how complete it is as a revenue lifecycle management platform. It gives us one place to manage the full journey from lead capture to qualification, routing, follow-up, and conversion, instead of stitching together separate tools for inbox, automation, and reporting. That has made our workflow much more structured and scalable, especially for WhatsApp and other high-volume conversations.

What’s most valuable is the combination of automation, workflow design, and channel management. We can build clear processes for handling incoming leads, assign conversations to the right team member, qualify prospects faster, and keep momentum moving through the sales cycle. The result is less manual work, faster response times, and a more consistent customer experience.

I also value the integrations and flexibility. respond.io fits into broader sales and marketing operations much better than point solutions, so it supports a more connected workflow rather than creating another silo. For a team that needs to turn conversations into revenue, that end-to-end visibility is a major upside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

The main downside is that respond.io can feel quite powerful, but that also means there is a learning curve. Some of the workflow and automation features take time to fully understand, especially when setting up more advanced processes for lead routing, qualification, and revenue operations. For teams that want to move quickly, the platform can feel a bit complex at first.

Another area that could be improved is the depth of certain integrations and reporting options. While the platform connects well into broader workflows, I sometimes wish some integrations were even more seamless and that reporting could be more flexible for deeper performance analysis. That would make it easier to measure ROI and optimize campaigns without relying on external tools.

Pricing can also become a consideration as usage grows, especially for teams with larger contact volumes or more advanced operational needs. The value is there, but the cost-benefit balance becomes more important as the team scales, so clearer packaging or more transparent guidance on scaling costs would help.

Overall, these are not major blockers, but more areas where the product could be easier to adopt, easier to measure, and easier to scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

Thanks for taking the time to write this. It's great to see respond.io being used to both run and demonstrate a structured conversation-led sales process, and the way you've described the end-to-end visibility really captures what we're trying to build.

Respond.io does have a learning curve, particularly with the advanced workflow and routing you mentioned. That complexity comes from genuine depth, and once it's set up the way you need, it makes a real difference to what you get out of the platform. You don't have to work through it alone, either. Live support is available 24/5 across all channels and our AI support runs 24/7 trained on our full knowledge base, so help is always there at https://respond.io/contact.

On pricing as you scale, respond.io is priced on monthly active contacts, so your cost per contact goes down as conversation volume grows. Our team is happy to talk through what makes sense for your setup at the same link!

Once again, thank you for being with us. 🙌

"Good software, but WhatsApp limitations make it frustrating."
3.5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

I really like respond.io because it allows me to manage messages from multiple platforms in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

the platform is quite expensive on a monthly basis, and the template messaging options are very restricted.

Furthermore, on WhatsApp, if a customer does not respond, the 24-hour window closes, making it impossible to continue a regular conversation with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

Thanks for laying this out so clearly. It sounds like respond.io is doing an important job in your booking process, especially keeping the full conversation history together as an inquiry moves between people.

We understand why the 24-hour WhatsApp window can be frustrating. It’s a Meta policy that applies across WhatsApp Business API platforms, so we can’t remove it. Templates and broadcasts are the available options once that window closes, and our team can help you work out a setup that makes sense for your rental and tour flows.

On pricing, respond.io uses monthly active contacts, with the cost per contact decreasing as conversation volume grows. If you want to check whether your current plan still makes sense for the way you’re using the platform, reach us at https://respond.io/contact and we’ll take a look.

"From Manual Follow-Ups to Smarter Community Conversations,"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

What we like most is how respond.io lets us scale our communications across FB Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp without losing the human touch.

For WCS Malaysia, we manage enquiries from new dancers, class registrations, follow-ups and ongoing community conversations. Respond.io gives us one place to manage these interactions while using workflows and automation for repetitive questions and processes.

The flexibility of the workflows is probably the biggest strength for us. We can qualify enquiries, guide people towards the right classes, collect information, automate follow-ups and then hand the conversation over to a real person when needed. This has helped us respond faster and reduce a lot of manual work for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

The main downside is the learning curve. Respond.io is very powerful, but building more sophisticated workflows and chatbots can take some time to understand and set up properly.

As you add more branches, conditions and automations, workflows can also become quite complex to manage and troubleshoot. We’ve found that you need to be fairly deliberate about how you structure everything from the beginning.

That said, much of the complexity comes from the flexibility of the platform. Once the workflows are properly set up, the operational benefits outweigh the initial effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

The dancers who enquired but never registered are exactly the kind of leads that are easy to lose track of when follow-ups are manual, so having that run automatically can make a real difference.

And you’re right to think about structure early. Keeping workflows organised from the start makes them much easier to understand, maintain and troubleshoot as you build more of them.

It sounds like you’re already getting comfortable with the learning curve. And if you do get stuck on the next build, respond.io now has 24/7 human and AI support available.

"I RECOMMEND TO RESPOND WITHOUT PROBLEMS"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

What I like most about respond.io are its automations and the ease of connecting with customers through bots. This allows for quick, personalized, and efficient service, improving the customer experience and optimizing the team's work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

I would like respond.io to improve the clarity of its reports and incorporate the option to reply to comments on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok posts. It is a feature offered by other platforms and would facilitate a more agile and efficient interaction with customers from social networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

Thanks for setting out how you've built this. You've drawn the line in a useful place, with the flows handling things like order status, purchase history and catalogs, and your team stepping in where something needs manual handling, like validating a payment or capturing an order. That kind of split helps you handle more volume without the manual workload growing at the same rate.

On the comments, part of what you're describing already exists. Comments on Facebook and Instagram can trigger an automatic private reply, and once the person responds, they become a contact in respond.io and you can continue the conversation from there.

Public replies to comments are a separate capability, and there are already requests for this on our roadmap. You can add your vote at https://roadmap.respond.io. You can share the reporting feedback there too — and the more specific you can be about which reports or parts of them aren't clear enough, the more useful that feedback is for our product team.

"Stable, User-Friendly Platform with Easy Setup, Integrations, and AI"
5/5
What do you like best about respond.io?

The platform is very stable and reliable. Setting up a customer is straightforward, as long as their Meta Business is prepared correctly. Fortunately, Respond.io also makes the connection process easy, and there is plenty of helpful information available to guide you.

There are a lot of integrations available, including the option to run your own apps and send requests through hooks and the API.

The pricing is a little steep for the South African market; however, Respond.io is always available to help customers understand the true value of what they’re spending.

The AI features are easy to teach and use, even for an entry-level admin user.

Overall, the platform’s UX is stable, user-friendly, and easy to understand, even when you run into trouble connecting another channel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about respond.io?

The only thing that really comes to mind is the pricing. The South African market is tough right now because the economy is suffering due to bad governance, and we also need to remit payments in $. With the ZAR being quite a bit weaker than the USD, it makes the cost harder to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Tan Jit Ming of respond.io

Stable platform, straightforward setup, and AI Agents that teach quickly are the parts we work hardest on. On pricing, respond.io's model runs on monthly active contacts, so cost per contact drops as your volume grows, which is designed to scale with a reseller book. On the separate admin account setup, our support team can walk you through role and permission options that already exist for this kind of use case at https://respond.io/contact, and if nothing fits, you can raise it as a feature request at https://roadmap.respond.io.
