# How important is local in-country support when using Remote for payroll and benefits?

Using Remote, I’ve found the biggest win is having local support that understands my country’s employment rules, plus fast handling of payslips, queries, and requests. As someone based outside my company’s HQ, it’s helped me access compliant, relevant local benefits like medical aid instead of a generic package. The only downside has been occasional minor UI quirks that add a bit of friction. For others using Remote across countries, what’s been your experience with local support and benefits setup?
