- Dashboard - Is very well designed.
- Phishing Simulation Content - There are a lot very good options and content is updated often with phishing emails Proofpoint sees. Also, teachable moments are really good and very easy to modify. We have not leveraged training yet, but we have played around with it and it seems to be very well done, easy to modify.
- Reporting - Is outstanding. I actually use this on a monthly basis to explain the value of our phishing simulation program.
- PhishAlarm Analyzer - Its great to have integration between users phishing submissions, automatic sandbox evaluation and the training platform. We were doing this with a different product previously and now that we are are on one platform, we have streamlined our support and reporting process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Would like to see a combo url link in attachment that brings you to a phishing page. Right now, it is one or the other (attachment or url).
- Would like to see the option to deploy a test scenario that does not count against the reported data, so you can verify things are working properly before doing a mass deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The various types of campaigns to send out to my employee base for educational purposes. I really enjoy the fact that if someone falls for the campaign, they are automatically enrolled into education to help train them from continuing to fall for these simulations or better yet - real world phish campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main issue is the integration with on premise our LMS, as it would be very beneficial to track users that complete the auto enrolled material in a way that would be very beneficial metrics for our management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support is great if there are any questions or concerns. The training offered is very good. Users seem to enjoy the training videos more than our last product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far the only thing we don't like is verifying training is complete for a user. Instead of just being able to check their account, you must run a report to get their training status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our employes understend the materials in Proofpoint Security Awareness Training Product very easy and they don't protest very mutch doing it. They have good management tools and reporting build in, but not perfect, so they are still things to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a problem with user management. We would like to see some automation like on every new user assign this tasks. Sometimes the Reporting tool in Proofpoint Security Awareness Training Product is difficult to use and you have to play a with the options to set and see what you need. Also one account lock itself after many attempts to log in only the administrator have to go and one by one unlock them, and you have a lot of locked accounts it cost you time and pations to fix them. The variety of different templates used to send to our company's users, and the realistic look of those templates was very impressive. The ability to customise and tailor your own templates has also proved extremely useful in creating slightly more difficult to detect phishing emails, allowing spoofing from an account within the company and making believable phishing emails. Somebody is allocated from Proofpoint to assist companies when using this product so you're not just thrown in blind, there's a lot of help and support. There is a suggested rollout plan spanning a year which has been very helpful for us as we weren't too sure where to start with our rollout. There have been somewhat regular calls and meetings with our person from Proofpoint, ensuring that we're still getting on fine with the product. Finally, the graphs and charts created by Proofpoint when it has gathered the results are very clear and concise, and helpful in displaying the information to those who may not as readily understand the raw data gathered by Proofpoint. Additionally, the courses created by Proofpoint to assign to your users are very helpful, contain good information and you are also able to customise these to your needs, meaning you can make them as comprehensive as possible or simplify them depending on your needs as a company. The support team at Proofpoint have been very helpful, giving me advice and support in order to fix the issue of all of their emails going to the junk inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Despite the support team of Proofpoint being extremely helpful, they were unfortunately unable to help me with one issue which I was experiencing, unfortunately we were finding it impossible to track when a user had opened the fake phishing email, the reason for this that Proofpoint uses a 1x1 invisible picture in every email they send, so that when that image is fetched from their server, they can definitively say that the email has been opened and who by. Due to saving bandwidth, our company automatically blocks images and so Proofpoint was unable to let us know when emails had been opened by users, only whether the phishing link had been clicked or not. If you have a lot of ground to cover in multiple languages Proofpoint Security Awareness has training modules and assessments that can really make a difference. We followed Gartner's recommendation and have not looked back. Now, this product is deployed around the globe and we continue to see improvements; not only in awareness, but in a growing security centric ethos across the group of companies.
The majority of staff seem to take pride in reporting phish and scoring highly, and that is kudos to a good accessible learning environment and tools that people want to use. Campaign setup is straightforward and the reporting options and integrations are continuously being improved, offering the flexibility to report both on platform or in others.
Support is knowledgeable and responsive and we have generally had most issues resolved within a few days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CyberSecurity moves fast, and because of this some of the phish training can feel a little dated. Occasionally more weight is applied to certain aspects based on the training focus, and users applying previously learned skills can feel disappointed when the method they are applying is marked incorrect. But these are minor, sporadic issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The training product is very easy to use and even easier to administer. We have been able to delegate the administration to our service desk team.
The overall options are more than enough to satisfy our compliance requirements as well as give us peace of mind that our end users are receiving the training that is needed. In this crazy world of ransom ware and constant phishing expeditions, this has allowed us to sleep better at night.
Not only are there enough modules, but the depth of the modules and the over all topics is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it appears that our SSO times out or a few issues with browser support. But that could just be an issue our end as we are rolling out Windows 10 and migrating from Windows 7. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Proofpoint integrates our security awareness program with our operational toolset, allowing us to deliver training that is practical. Having our phishing exercises integrated with the same provider of our annual security training offers our employees a consistent interaction with Information Security, which establishes trust and confidence in our programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has taken us a while to get fully deployed, because we deployed Proofpoint email security tools in addition to the training. If you already have security tools in place, this should not be an issue, but they are distinct projects that need managed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the granularity and the speed of the development. They are always listening to suggestions and ideas. And the product is customizable everywhere. We do a lot of custom campaigns with the product and we usually implement services like periodic campaigns to our customers (for instance, Coronavirus and Valentine's Day in Italian). While the product is not fully in italian (I am talking about ThreatSim and some notifications) it is very customizable and so this limitation is not too much heavy for the end user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The need to have 2 portals. I want a single one for ThreatSim and Training. Furthermore, I believe that the SSO process should be easier (like a "Settings page"). For instance, Google made a really useful settings page. Furthermore, I would like to see some customizations (I want an import button for phishing templates) that can help improving the users experience. At the moment I also dislike the fact that it is missing some public REST API, and that the certificates jacket for the training appear only at the end of the training and there is not a "badge" page where you can see all your certificates. Last, a report/dashboard to see the top risky users shall be implemented (see Mimecast Ataata) as this can become a really big value for the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The training not only includes training modules, but also assessments and security awareness materials. In addition, in the Community site you get many of your questions answered. They provide documentation for almost everything, including sample (or suggested) plan for a Security Awareness Training program, which really came in helpful when setting up the program. I really appreciated that they sent out newsletters to us informing us of new features, reports, and updated training materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes to learn how to setup and use the system from the administrative perspective. It is worth to take sufficient time for the setup because the end users will benefit. Overall, they find it extremely easy to use and very intuitive. Actually, not much support required. Once you get used to the system, it actually becomes easy to use. My advice: do not be intermitid with the different options and the amount of content. Go step by step. First get familiar with the concept, the general settings (especially user settings), test it with yourself or other colleagues. You will definitely enjoy the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A variety of exercises that helps train the mindsets of all staffs (even non-IT) of what to look out for in phishing emails and other categories. It definitely does a good job of covering the basic key indicators of a malicious email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe including more real-life scenarios in which are more difficult to spot right off the bat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price is quite adequate, support is available and always presented in a polite manner. We were under Mr. Kurt Werner's account, but we are now moving to Monika Nowara, however we were just introduced recently, thus no particular feedback available at the moment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not very convenient user management, as i would like to see a more aggregated view (for example, i've submitted GDPR module to 300 employees, over course of 1 year, for some multiple times. How can i see with 1 button click how many of them did not complete GDPR module at all?) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to send out simulated phishing campaigns to simulate an attack are helpful. The most pertinent reviews came from our users, who thoroughly enjoy the training modules. Easy to use. Affordably priced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting module isn't the most intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the employees of my company are able to learn about Cyber Security and apply awareness principles to their everyday jobs using Proof Point's industry best practices. I like the ease using the administrator portal. When using the portal, i find it easy to create spoof emails to my desire in testing the staff workforce. The users find the training easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have any complaints with the service, this has been an excellent experience. Some of the questions aren't worded as easy and the answers could be in a "gray" area resulting in a wrong answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Security training is comprehensive and can be automatic. I run simulated phishing attacks monthly and users who fail can be enrolled in additional training. User feedback on the training and mock phishing has been positive compared to other products we have used and demo'd.
Proofpoint has been doing a good job of updating and modernizing the interface since their purchase of Wombat.
Proofpoint's sales and technical teams have been good to work with as well. We set up SSO with a provider that was new to them and we were able to work through the process without any major headaches. They aren't pushy like some of their competitors as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In it's current state, the interface is still not fully consistent. The simulated phishing campaigns still run in the old Wombat interface which has a bit of a different look and feel from the rest of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to customize course material so that it is better applicable to our firm's business and the terms we use. I appreciate that I can include my interns in the training as well. I've received positive feedback about the quality and appropriateness of the training from my employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting is a little thin and not always intuitive to use. I like more user details rather than firm level. It seems only a limited number of reports include that. It would be useful if Proofpoint distributed current trends in specific scams and phishes to the administrator to determine if it should be distributed internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that they have many templates and the possibility to adjust them. The full coverage of analysis, auditing and training. That you have an own coach to met your goals. That security contantly will be discussed with the people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The gui and user experiance is not fully harmonized. the product have to show me that there are improvements. It look like the users are using the traning and are on a good level but it need some time. We will never reach 100% security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The topics are relatable as they are linked to everyday issues and they are very easy to follow. All of our team here at Ladderstore enjoy doing this training every month and understand the reason behind it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We as a company don't dislike any of the training but we constantly keep on top of this to make sure old habits are changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The training platform is already packaged and put together with multiple management types (Hands on Admin, Managed Services, Cloud based, Internal Based) providing flexibility in the method and way we are able to assign users to training, conduct phishing training campaigns, and remedial training.
The program provides a plethora of awareness media in both digital and printable formats to saturate the workplace and enhance the security awareness.
Support is fairly quick and robust.
Community page provides many examples of other real world issues that are a great knowledge base resource to help identify similar issues ran into by our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lacking a few features in user reporting capabilities, and environment as an admin.
A few features would be served better with more up front awareness, informative outreach templates to prepare and organization and prevent overwhelming push back due to inconvenience of unfamiliarity and corporate ignorance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best feature that I like is the multitude of templates that are available to you when it comes to training courses and sending out simulated phishing emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont like for the PhishAlarm product that in order to change the verbiage on the button the button has to be redeployed again. We should be able to change this on the fly and the update automatically is seen by the end-users without having to redeploy again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Proofpoint Security Awareness Training is an essential education tool for modern day business. Beyond the security platforms and suites you will implement to ensure your network has a robust and active defense against cyber risks, training your people to be 'cyber aware' is an absolute top priority requirement.
Proofpoint training exercises are simple and easy to follow. Unlike other training platforms, Proofpoint training assessments do not rely on long-winded video training modules, where users can set them to play and then walk away. Proofpoint ensures the user has understood the training by requiring they complete an assessment at the end of each training module, an approach that guarantees user participation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be hugely helpful to be able to configure the delivery times that training alerts are sent to our staff. Currently the default appears to be midnight in central USA. Also, the ability to modify the date presentation format from MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY would be hugely to account for regional differences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
