Limit of user amount in a distribution groups - this forces us to create new distribution groups. Since we also rotate a lot of people we then remove them from the older groups which results in empty space and it's very clunky to try and change the group ids in our code all the time. I love that ShareFile Virtual Data Room offers ease of use with a simple setup, an intuitive interface, and a user-friendly experience for both admins and clients. It makes rapid onboarding possible for project administrators, who can quickly create and configure a secure data room using templates. I miss the possibility to link documents to each other (create relations between documents) inside of ShareFile. Another weakness is that approvals/comments on the workflow do not leave a visible trace in the document. If you want visible approvals, you have to create a separate signature cycle. I find ShareFile Virtual Data Room valuable because it allows us to run different processes with different clients all using the same platform. While I'm overall very satisfied with Progress ShareFile, one minor frustration is that it's not always easy to quickly see the history of files I've shared and with whom.
