**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

We use Polytomic for CDC-based Postgres to Snowflake replication, and it has been consistently smooth and reliable. Their support team is exceptional (and I really mean exceptional) - highly responsive and very knowledgeable whenever we’ve had questions. The UI is clear and easy to use, and their service has proven robust in day-to-day operations. We benchmarked Polytomic against other competitors during trial, and it stood out immediately as the more reliable and well-thought-out solution.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

There’s very little to dislike. At one point, we did uncover a bug in the ingested data, but their team fixed the issue promptly and re-synced everything at their own cost. That level of ownership is rare and very reassuring.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a dependable way to replicate data from Postgres into Snowflake without maintaining brittle custom pipelines. Polytomic provided a straightforward solution that reduced operational overhead and gave us confidence in the reliability of our syncs.

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

I have been using Polytomic for over two years and have found it incredibly useful for syncing data across Airtable, Hubspot, MongoDB, and Supabase. The setup process, though initially patchy due to the company's early stage, was greatly facilitated by the direct access to the founder and Slack communication with the responsive team, making our experience smooth. I am particularly impressed by Polytomic's ability to sync activities from Hubspot, a feature that very few providers offer. The Airtable integration stands out as one of the most complete services I have encountered, distinguishing Polytomic from its competitors. The low code functionality of Polytomic is another aspect I appreciate, especially since it caters to low code tools and users, solving major sync issues we previously faced. The added features over time also show the team's commitment to improving their product. Overall, Polytomic addresses our data synchronizing needs efficiently, and their development team's responsiveness and capability to handle advanced functionalities have streamlined our operations significantly.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Like all the other vendors I had researched, it is still not possible to have a true 2-way sync between Airtable and Hubspot. There is one company I know providing this, but it is only possible on very small Airtable bases, not bases with around 500k records.

I use Polytomic to sync data seamlessly across systems like Airtable and Hubspot, benefiting low code users with features few platforms offer.

Customer support is oustanding: no matter your issue or question the team will solve it (possibly within 30 minutes). Platform is also super straightforward and easy to use. In a market of products that are trying to do every single possible "data movement and transformation" thing, it's refreshing to use a platform that just does what it says on the tin.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Literally nothing. The UI is a little basic, but I'm sick of over-designed SaaS interfaces so this is actually a feature, not a bug.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moving data from our first-party Data Warehouse (Snowflake) to third-party applications (e.g. CRMs).

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Polytomic has been a game-changer for our ETL needs. We originally worked with them to quickly stand up a transfer between BigQuery and Lob.com, and we were impressed with the ease of integration set-up and team responsiveness,. Throughout our relationship, their commitment to following through on promises for net-new integrations, helping us via being an ad-hoc advisor on data needs, and most recently, helping us solve a pressing challenging relating to schema changes has really made them stand out as not just a "vendor", but a true partner. We are beyond grateful for not only their product, but their amazing team.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

No major downsides come to mind. Maybe a bit more customizable alerting on errors, but overall, a fantastic product/team.

Helping the movement of data from critical vendors into our warehouse / reporting tools.

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Polytomic is a pretty straightforward ETL and reverse ETL tool, but the team is absolutely fantastic. Not only do they provide good recommendations on how to model and structure your ETL and reverse ETL processes, but they are also highly responsive to any support questions and always willing to hop on a call to walk through potential solutions or implementations.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Implementation on our own was harder than anticipated. However, the team at Polyatomic hopped on calls to work through all the issues and bugs that we were experiencing at the time.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Polytomic allows us to move data from our MySQL databases to our CRM in near real time. This enables us to kick off our nurture and lifecycle marketing emails to our users seamlessly. It also allows us to perform standard reverse ETL and ETL processes.

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

While there are a number of ETL and Reverse ETL tools around, a major advantage Polytomic has is one of the best support experiences I've had across SaaS tools I've used (and I'm currently the PoC for >60 ones in my current role). Polytomic's team is a rare combination of;
- Efficient, making sure you have the exact information you need to know what is happening
- Proactive; no other SaaS vendor has been able to build the level of trust I have in Polytomic, where they are able to proactively let us know and offer help if they see any warnings coming up with our syncs (typically an issue we caused), or changes to how their system works
- Responsible; the team genuinely treats us with a consideration that rivals a hotel chain - they advocate to us towards the vendors they sync with, review technical information and represent our perspectives well if we're looking at adding another GTM system, and always make sure the customer experience is a positive one!

While I find the tool incredibly easy to use and impactful, the team and customer experience is the star at the top of tree for me!

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

UI and information density has been an area of focus for Polytomic over the past months, and I've seen beneficial changes already shipped. I'd still expect this to improve (admittedly I'm looking far too hard for anything I dislike, it's a great tool)

Polytomic will connect all of your data from all of your tools and systems in whatever direction and combination you need.  The alternative historically is multiple siloed ETL tools and/or full time Engineers building these connections as their job or instead of their job.  This makes data a bottleneck instead of a value driver in your products, processes and insights.  With Polytomic - we are unlocking the full power of our data and our cross functional brain power.  Our Operations team uses Polytomic to connect our data warehouse and our CRM.  Our marketing team uses Polytomic to connect our datawarehouse to our CDP.  Our Analytics team uses Polytomic to get transactional data into our data warehouse (a custom integration Polytomic built at no extra charge in a single week!).  Our Engineers use Polytomic to move data from our warehouse to our application database so they don't have to manage these connections themselves.  Across all of these use cases we find that Polytomic is easy to set up, easy to adjust, and works seamlessly.

I wish I had known about Polytomic sooner because I would have saved time and money and made a bigger impact faster.

Polytomic makes all of my tools and systems connectable, without expensive Engineering overhead.  Polytomic lets us avoid siloed data, which helps us avoid siloed processes and siloed people.  We are a leaner, more aligned, and more efficient team in terms of both people and software because of Polytomic.

- Amazing Customer Support and Tech Team. They are always here to help, and often even ready to build a custom solution for your need.
- The tool overall is super useful and helps us to sync our 3rd party services with a source of truth. We use it daily for more than a year already.
- It's quite easy to use and integrate.

To be honest, nothing comes to my mind. We did not have any problems.

We have a database stored in No-Code app and that's the source of truth for our data. But we also need the data in other services, mostly Intercom to use for marketing and emails. Polytomic helps us to automatically sync the data.

More reasonable pricing, easier and more reliable configuration, faster setup, and killer service. Truly heads and shoulders above Fivetran, Hevo, etc.

Only downside is that they charge per connector so if you have a random little data source with a little data it costs you the same as a big data source.

We had basic analytics stack needs - data warehouse, ETL, and BI tool. Polytomic solve the ETL piece and helps us sync Postgres and Hubspot data to BigQuery.

Polytomic has been a hands-on, supportive partner for us for a long time. They provide us with a shared channel for communication and are always willing to dive into our issues or new integration requests (across accounting system syncs, product data, revenue operations data, and more).

As a smaller company, Polytomic doesn't have every integration that we've needed over the years, so we've had to implement multiple tools to replicate some of the functionality.

Polytomic was really able to deliver not only the exact solution we were looking for but in a very short period of time. Historically we would maticulously internally code data syncronizations with various platforms and automations. This type of work would slow the overall development process. We presented the Polytomic team with a rather unorthodox API and process and they came back with the exact results and full data sets we were looking for to move our project along even faster. 

Their interface is pretty simple and very intuitive to us, no complaints. Even in the initial syncronizations of the data, formatting, small items you would expect with any data harvesting, their team was right on top of any issue we presented and solved each one quickly and thoroughly.

I was a bit skeptical of this meeting our needs the way it was presented during the initial conversations. It totally and completely did.

The entire process went the way we hoped it would go from initial conversation to delivery and support after launch.

Continually harvesting data sets from an API without having to code any of the API harvesting into our application. Polytomic continmually updates and pulls all data from an API and writes and updates to our application database.

There is no question that Polytomic is a great product that is versatile and simple to use. The best part about this company is the people that you work with. They are always willing to listen to your product feedback and actually work to incorporate changes that meet your business needs. They went above and beyond to make sure they were customizing their capabilities to fit our needs.

I can't think of any at the moment. My experience with them has been all positive

Polytomic is helping us democratize our internal data to our stakeholders and providing optionality for them on how they want to integrate it. Stakeholders can seamlessly integrate our data within their various data environments. In return, the usage on our data is constantly increasing. -Polytomic is incredibly easy to use--from running queries in Query Runner to creating Models/Syncs. Our team has found it incredibly inuititive.

-The enhancements that have been made to the product during our first year were incredibly valuable. The team took the time to not only acknowledge our feature requests, but actually delivered them.

-Support is unparalleled. Issues are addressed expeditiously and the team makes themselves available to troubleshoot with you side by side to ensure issues are diagnosed and resolved.

-The availability of connections to move data around met our business needs. The team has been more than willing to invest in new connections to meet our complex and evolving business model.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

-Early on, there were some growing pains around sync times with Athena. However, the team took a technical recommendation we had and improved sync times tenfold. 

-The model builder GUI could use some polish.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We brought on Polytomic for a few reasons:

-One, we have a littany of companies under one roof that all have different tech stacks and business needs. We required the flexibility to account for multiple platforms and a multi-tenant environment to do so.
-We needed a way for these companies who were not tenants in our AWS environment to be able to query net new datasets we're building.

Since, the Polytomic team has made both technical and feature enhancements that have unearthed new capabilities that have satisified the needs of the subgroups under our organization.

The platfrom is extremely powerful. Pricing is fixed making this the most scalable solution on the market. 
Polytomic truly shines when it comes to support. Their team is extremely helpful, they are more than just "another tool" they quickly become your partner.

Pricing can look a little daunting, but once you do the math against the competition its a no brainer.

Polytomic is turbo charging our project to build a data warehouse. As we continue to mature our data startegy we will expand polytomic from a ETL to a reverce ETL tool to make sure our teams are leveraging up to date data.

Finally a simple and reliable way to connect data. In the past this would be done with janky automation platforms. Much better solution. Customer support is great. Its easy to integrate.

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Polytomic has been easy to use and reliable for us. So far, we have been able to handle any integration need that we have. We are sending curated data to the tools we're integrating with, so our integrations aren't overly complex. But I do appreciate that we can set up many-to-many associations as long as the direct creation and updating of records.

I really appreciate the a-la-carte pricing, so we only need to pay for the integrations that we are actually using and can add more on at any time.

The Polytomic team has been absolutely fantastic to work with. They are responsive, smart, and helpful. The people we have spoken to know their code base really well and have been able to answer our questions quickly and confidently.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Being a newer tool, it may not be as full-featured or complex as some other options. But anything that we needed for it to be a viable solution for us, they were able to implement and have released super fast. The simplicity is a plus for us, so this isn't even an actual negative.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have to worry about learning all of the nuances of 3rd-party APIs, like Hubspot, or keeping up to date with changes to those APIs. Polytomic handles rate limiting and batching for us.

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

The user interface for Polytomic is intuitive and simple while still allowing for the complexity that can come with more complex syncs. We got the whole thing up and running in just a few days. The Polytomic team is also great to work with. They addressed our concerns, including working through a complicated sync, in just a few hours. It's rare to find companies with such great support. Polytomic was also a much cheaper option for us than many competitors since our use case is fairly minimal.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

This isn't the fastest solution out there, which can cause delays when syncing hundreds of thousands of records. This wasn't a problem for our use case, but even our continuous syncs can easily be 10-30 minutes apart, and syncing just 10 records can sometimes take a full minute or two.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to integrate our internal databases and Hubspot. Writing our own ETL process for this would have cost many developer hours and would require future upkeep any time Hubspot updated its API. We also anticipate integrating with SalesForce shortly, which adds to the complexity. Polytomic solves these problems, and makes it easy to add future integrations when needed.

Polytomic's product is a powerful tool that doesn't require any programming or technical implementation. Their team is incredibly responsive to our support issues and quick to ship updates.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

The platform does have a relatively steep learning curve, but improvements are being made to usability over time. Getting each of our customers up and running requires additional onboarding calls. The Polytomic team does assist with these calls as needed, but it is an additional hurdle for a customer. Our end-users can sometimes be overwhelmed by the apparent complexity of the system and will ask us to administer the setup for them. Pricing can also be a bit high.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data can be accessed via our API, but customers who do not have technical resources still want to utilize our data in their preferred external platforms. Polytomic allows us to offer highly customizable data syncing in a no-code web platform for a large set of supported integrations.

The user interface is very slick and modern and makes it very easy to take data from various sources and sync them to other destinations. It is a great switchboard for data. The team at Polytomic is also fantastic and is very responsive to requests and making changes to the platform based on these requests.

There are no downsides or nothing I dislike about Polytomic. There was one feature for importing CSV data via API from Domo that they did not have but within a few days they had this up and working for me

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing data from our custom portal databases e.g. revenue per user, to Salesforce used to be a pain to manage with Airflow scripts and API requests. The Polytomic interface makes this very easy along with filters and other configuration settings that let you tailor what and when the data gets synced. Polytomic also has efficiency in mind with features like only syncing updated information to save API requests in SFDC.

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Leadership and developers are very responsive and move quickly in fixing bugs or releasing requested features. Their pricing model charges per connection instead of by volume of data, so they're a good choice for companies with a lot of data.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Since they charge a flat fee per connection, Polytomic is costly for companies with many third-party data integrations that don't have that much data volume. Logging and observability could also be improved; when our Polytomic connections or jobs fail, we often have to reach out to them to learn why instead of being enabled to debug issues ourselves.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Polytomic is a data sync tool that transfers data from a source to a destination. We began using Polytomic because our current data sync tool, Stitch, doesn't support certain connectors or certain versions of connectors that we need. Polytomic's ability to iterate quickly benefits us greatly.

It's amazing how useful it is to write (even simple!) SQL and have the structured output be written to other tools.

For example I take our usage postgres data, run some simple computations on it, and then write that data back to a new postgres table and also to our CRM.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

I find the model syncs UI quite unwiedly in terms of knowing what data is going where. I'd love a clearer way of visualising what syncs are running from where / to where.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of structured (and unstructured) data and need that to get to other tools such as our CRM or ESP. 

We also try to sync data between various postgres tables and Polytomic is a great alternative to fivetran for this.

Finally, we use it to sync properties to our CDP.

The thing I like the most about Polytomic is that I can use it as a systems administrator who doesn't know SQL well enough to write it and our data/engineering team can also use it using SQL. It allows for far better cross-functional collaboration.

There are still a few things to iron out in terms of simplifying certain parts of the navigation like being able to group or search in certain views, but that has been steadily improving the whole time we've been using it.

Polytomic has allowed better collaboration across teams that work with Data and has increased the ability of non-engineering teams and individuals to be self-serve to some extent. It also has taken work which was in legacy formats and brought it into a much more concise and easy-to-manage format.

The only downside about Polytomic is that my team wasn't using it sooner and that we haven't started using it for all our 3rd party data integration just yet.

At my startup, we've been happy Polytomic customers for at least 2 years.

-It's always functioned well, don't remember ever having data sync issues
-Saves us a bunch of time, otherwise we'd have to be piping the data around ourselves
-Team is super responsive and build out new integration functionality very fast

Not much, since it gets the job done well.  Maybe more powerful integrations could be nice, although they are seemingly quite open to adding new stuff.

They get our Sales team data from a ton of different sources (Postgres, Chargebee, Amplitude, etc) , which helps make them more efficient because they have much better understanding of the user before they reach out.

The integrations offered make it really easy to move data across systems. You just set it and forget it. 
Their customer support has been very helpful, and the team has been super responsive.

Set up can be a little confusing. Between models, connections, model syncs, etc., it's easy to make a small mistake that breaks your configuration. The error messages aren't the most intuitive, which makes it challenging to troubleshoot some issues.

Moving data over from 1 business-critical system to another. It's better than an upload - both because it's faster to use and because we can move data in more specific ways than a series of CSV uploads.

There's nothing as such that I specifically dislike because the pros far outweigh the cons. Would've loved to have support for a few more data sources like OpenSearch as well.

We had our entire internal ops data spread around google sheets/airtable and shifting it across databases was a major pain point. That was our first use case for Polytomic but over time we've used it to regularly sync data across services and other tools without ever using any tech bandwidth whatsoever.

Working in healthcare, understanding what patient/customer data is essential is a constantly evolving challenge and operationalizing data very quickly by moving our data to something like Bigquery is a huge asset.  Compared to other tools such as Fivetran and Hightouch, the simple UI when adding a new table to pipe over to an analytics warehouse is an advantage.

I wish there was a cleaner organization/filter structure for managing and quickly accessing the different models and syncs we create.

As a non-technical Account Manager for a company that customers use to enrich their data, no-code integrations are essential for getting customers to value. Polytomic makes this set-up simple, with transparency from source to desitnation, with sync status and volume available with a few clicks.

The initial time to value with Polytomic can be a barrier for customers who expect an out of the box integration with their CRM. The added step of configuing another tool to see their data routed to their final destintation can add friction inot a process where customers want integrations at the click of a button (both to and from their CRM).
