## About Polytomic
Polytomic is a unified data movement platform that makes it easy for teams to keep all their systems in sync—data warehouses, operational databases, and SaaS applications. It supports ETL, Reverse ETL, and bi-directional sync, helping teams ensure that tools like Snowflake, Postgres, MongoDB, Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, and internal apps are always aligned in real time. With Polytomic, you can: Sync from Warehouse → SaaS: Push modeled analytics into CRMs and marketing platforms. Sync from SaaS → Warehouse: Bring back usage data, leads, tickets, and revenue for analytics. Enable true two-way sync: Keep both sides current when systems need to stay fully aligned. Data teams get SQL support, logging, monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code. RevOps, Marketing, and Customer Success teams can configure syncs with a no-code UI—no engineering tickets required. Polytomic is built to scale with large datasets, supports Change Data Capture (CDC) for high-volume databases, and can run self-hosted for organizations with strict compliance needs. Why teams switch to Polytomic: Combines ETL, Reverse ETL, and CDC in a single platform—no multi-tool pipelines. Real bi-directional sync keeps critical systems aligned. CDC reduces load, making updates fast and cost-efficient. Self-hosted option for full data control. Fast connector velocity and responsive engineering support. Polytomic gives organizations a single, reliable way to move, sync, and manage data—so teams can trust their systems, act on insights faster, and focus on growth rather than manual pipelines.

## Polytomic Reviews
  ### 1. a robust tool to migrate equipment metadata

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego S. | Tutor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

I like that it is easy to use and that is intuitive

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

there is limited documentation for specific use cases

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping track the events associated with instruments.

**Official Response from Ghalib Suleiman:**

> Hi Diego, thanks for your review! Please let me know if you ever need anything from us. Would love to know what specific use cases you'd like us to document.

  ### 2. Powerful no-code integration platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Polytomic enables us to set up our customers with fully customizable syncs between our data and external platforms. Every sync can be specifically geared to pass the data fields they care about between an extensive list of supported integrations at any desired cadence. Polytomic's product is a powerful tool that doesn't require any programming or technical implementation. Their team is incredibly responsive to our support issues and quick to ship updates.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

The platform does have a relatively steep learning curve, but improvements are being made to usability over time. Getting each of our customers up and running requires additional onboarding calls. The Polytomic team does assist with these calls as needed, but it is an additional hurdle for a customer. Our end-users can sometimes be overwhelmed by the apparent complexity of the system and will ask us to administer the setup for them. Pricing can also be a bit high.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data can be accessed via our API, but customers who do not have technical resources still want to utilize our data in their preferred external platforms. Polytomic allows us to offer highly customizable data syncing in a no-code web platform for a large set of supported integrations.

  ### 3. Good tool for companies with a lot of data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lana D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Leadership and developers are very responsive and move quickly in fixing bugs or releasing requested features. Their pricing model charges per connection instead of by volume of data, so they're a good choice for companies with a lot of data.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Since they charge a flat fee per connection, Polytomic is costly for companies with many third-party data integrations that don't have that much data volume. Logging and observability could also be improved; when our Polytomic connections or jobs fail, we often have to reach out to them to learn why instead of being enabled to debug issues ourselves.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Polytomic is a data sync tool that transfers data from a source to a destination. We began using Polytomic because our current data sync tool, Stitch, doesn't support certain connectors or certain versions of connectors that we need. Polytomic's ability to iterate quickly benefits us greatly.

  ### 4. Polytomic is a great ETL tool!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nik S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Working in healthcare, understanding what patient/customer data is essential is a constantly evolving challenge and operationalizing data very quickly by moving our data to something like Bigquery is a huge asset. Compared to other tools such as Fivetran and Hightouch, the simple UI when adding a new table to pipe over to an analytics warehouse is an advantage.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

I wish there was a cleaner organization/filter structure for managing and quickly accessing the different models and syncs we create.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting operational data (i.e views from a mysql DB) into our analytics warehouse in Bigquery

  ### 5. Simple connector between database, Salesforce and other tools

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

Syncs are quite easy to set up, whether it's between Salesforce and our database or pushing information from Google Sheets to another platform. The UI is very intuitive and the learning curve is low.

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Syncs fail semi-frequently and often times we end up diagnosing these from missing data, instead of a robust notification system.

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to sync data primarily between our DB (Google Bigquery) and Salesforce and it mostly accomplishes this with ease.

  ### 6. Has been pretty good tool thus far!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aarthi S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Polytomic?**

It can communicate with many different sources. Relatively simple UI

**What do you dislike about Polytomic?**

Some nuance about the UI- could be improved to be more user friendly

**What problems is Polytomic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing in data from Salesforce and syncing data back to Salesforce empowered with our data
