One of the things I don't like about Pirani is that it doesn't have a complete document module. It would be very valuable if it could integrate with a document management system that allows for information tagging and direct connection with an SGI, to have documents, processes, and risks fully aligned on a single platform. Everything is separate, due to the current methodology we have at the place where I work, it is necessary to carry out a Self-assessment of the control through a monitoring test. This part is not like that in Pirani, but rather it is done by evaluating how the control is designed and if it has been effective. However, in my methodology, it is different, since the self-assessment requires executing monitoring tests and considers the design of the control, the results obtained, if there is operational loss, if there are findings and action plans related to internal audit and the regulator that are in effect. Pirani is quite intuitive and accessible even for teams, that don't have background in governance, risk or compliance. Pirani does a good job of keeping everything centralized.
