Based on G2 reviewer demographics and Pirani's pricing structure, Pirani is best suited for mid-market and enterprise organizations, particularly in financial services, banking, and insurance. G2 reviewers from these industries consistently praise Pirani's compliance alignment with standards like ISO 31000 and Basel III, and its ability to centralize operational risk management. The Starter plan fits companies new to risk management software, while the Basic plan suits non-financial industries needing multi-impact assessments. The Enterprise plan targets regulated financial institutions requiring KRI/KPI tracking, SSO, and AML modules. G2 reviews suggest students and very small businesses may find Pirani's pricing less accessible for their needs.
Pirani's free tier supports up to 5 users and 200 inputs, offering basic process, risk, and control creation along with a 5x5 risk heatmap report. Pirani's paid plans unlock significantly more capability, starting with the Starter plan at $415.00/month, which adds unlimited users, customized risk heatmaps, action plan management, dynamic fields, and event reporting. G2 reviewers note the free version's support response times can be slow, and one reviewer flagged that exporting reports is locked behind a paywall. Higher Pirani tiers like Basic ($962.00/month) and Enterprise add multi-impact risk assessments, graphic reports, KRI/KPI indicators, SSO integration, and advanced notifications suited for regulated industries.
G2 reviewers generally regard Pirani as a high-value solution, with the platform averaging near-perfect ratings across dozens of reviews. Users in financial services and banking frequently highlight time savings, centralized risk management, and regulatory compliance as strong justifications for the cost. However, several G2 reviewers explicitly flag pricing as a barrier, particularly for small businesses and individual users, with one noting the cost is not easy for small businesses to afford. A few reviewers also mention that accessing full reporting capabilities requires upgrading. Overall, Pirani's pricing reflects a premium investment that delivers measurable operational value for mid-market and enterprise organizations, though budget-conscious or smaller teams may find it costly.

Everything is separate, due to the current methodology we have at the place where I work, it is necessary to carry out a Self-assessment of the control through a monitoring test. This part is not like that in Pirani, but rather it is done by evaluating how the control is designed and if it has been effective. However, in my methodology, it is different, since the self-assessment requires executing monitoring tests and considers the design of the control, the results obtained, if there is operational loss, if there are findings and action plans related to internal audit and the regulator that are in effect. All of this gives us a score in which the control can be rated and, in turn, gives us a percentage of reduction in the inherent risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
