What do you like best about Peel Analytics?

- Extremely user friendly. Metrics are laid out well, there's a search bar, you can create dashboards. This makes it easy for new users to pick up

- Tracking of a number of marketing metrics, on whatever basis we need at that point (for example, AOV movements by day following a particular promotion)

The customer service team is extremely responsive and helpful. Whenever I need help finding a report or creating one that doesn't exist, they assist me and get it to me in a timely manner. It is sharing analytics that would otherwise be very hard and time-consuming to pull. The amount of reports that exist that I would not even know how to begin pulling myself is amazing. What do you like best about Peel Analytics?

It's great to be able to pull data quickly from Peel to be able to drive decision-making around products and marketing campaigns. It's been a great tool that doesn't require deep analytics/coding expertise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Peel Analytics?

Our business has many different types of SKUs and buying options (subscriptions, one-time purchases) and there is some customization that we needed to get into place to be able to evaluate certain metrics. We worked with the Peel team and they were able to offer support and continue to be available as needed.

Within the Peel tool, there are great opportunities to cut data and draw insights. However, they don't allow you to export their data views and instead export a data dump. This makes it time-consuming to take a Peel analysis and manipulate it further in excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for your review Neha! Your comment about data export is extremely helpful. Today Peel allows for the download of data behind each chart, but we can make it easier and only return the segments you're filtering. Also, we're about to release the ability to drill down into raw data from customers, orders, subscriptions, and ads. Hopefully, that'll save you even more time, but if not, let us know, and we'll make sure to work on it!

What do you like best about Peel Analytics?

The platform itself easily syncs to a Shopify store and comes natively with some very useful reports such as Cohort analysis and basket reports. The other thing I've found to be super helpful and wonderful is that the team has been more than happy to create any report I am looking for that doesn't already exist (which has been few). What do you dislike about Peel Analytics?

I would love to be able to access more custom reporting. Right now, one can only make custom reports that are filtered versions of the currently available reports - anything in addition to that requires help from the Peel team. And I'll say again, the Peel team is super responsive and super happy to build these for you - but being able to create those reports myself would be lovely. What do you like best about Peel Analytics?

It's very easy to set up and saves time that would have been spent calculating basic metrics. The reports mostly have helpful definitions. It was a good balance or cost and features for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can't pull raw data and do custom analyses. Applying more than 1 filter is also a bit cumbersome since you have to create your own "custom segment." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not having to pull reports from Shopify and other apps, wait for the reports to be emails, then manually analyze in excel/google sheets. Also much less error prone. Helps during decision making since I can just pull up many metrics in real time rather than having to either ue older data or do the analysis after the meeting.
