"Connectivity Issues Hold Back Great Meetings"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I think OpenMeet is the best app for online meetings. It helps my family with classes and lectures, allowing us to attend multiple meetings at the same time without problems. I appreciate its good initial setup, making it straightforward to start using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I don't like that there are connectivity issues during meetings and that the app doesn't work well on older devices. My family uses it for lectures, but the app crashes and lags on some phones. It would be helpful to have a lite version of the app to be compatible with all devices. Also, I think separating sections in the app for lite and professional use could be beneficial. "OpenMeet Makes Event Planning Simple and Secure"
What do you like best about openmeet?

What I like best about OpenMeet is that it makes organizing meetings and community events simple while keeping user data private and secure. It allows me to easily create events, invite people, and manage communication in one place, which helps me connect with others and coordinate activities more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

One thing I dislike about OpenMeet is that it has limited integrations with other tools, and some advanced features can be difficult for new users to learn at first.

If you want, I can also give you 2–3 alternative sentences so you can choose the one that sounds most natural for a review or form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Professional Audio with Effortless Setup"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I find OpenMeet to be a solid tool for remote work due to its stable connection and easy meeting access without complicated setups. It's perfect for staying connected with my team and checking in on data entry projects. I love the reliability you can count on for client meetings or study sessions, and its simplicity with a clean interface free of clutter. OpenMeet offers free accessibility, which is beneficial for those seeking free online courses and job opportunities without a high cost. The audio clarity from its dual-microphone system is impressive, cutting down background noise by 98.6% so you’re heard clearly. The LeakSlayer™ 3.0 technology ensures privacy by preventing audio leakage during work calls. I also appreciate the multi-device connectivity, allowing me to switch seamlessly between my PC and phone. The clear audio reduces cognitive load, enabling focus on understanding ideas instead of struggling to hear. The tool combats listening fatigue by filtering out distractions. Its compatibility with RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom is invaluable, offering smooth interaction with its Loop120 USB adapter. The plug-and-play setup is quick and hassle-free, and the one-click pairing is straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I don't like that the headset's fit is exceptionally loose for many users. It tends to slide or fall off if you tilt your head down, look up, or bend over. It's not suitable for high activity; while comfortable for stationary office work, it's less secure than neckband-style models like the OpenComm 2 for users on the move. "Multilingual and Web-Based, But Pricey and Complex"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I like that OpenMeet doesn't require a separate app download, making it effective and easy to access contents through a controlled admin hub. I also appreciate that it supports multiple languages, around 40, which is really helpful when engaging a multidimensional audience with different language needs. It's great for web-based engagement and supports both virtual and live content, letting me see how the live audience interacts with the content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

The higher cost and learning curve are its demerits. The costing could be on the lower side, making it feasible for brands and companies to try without spending much. Once you start using it, you have to figure out how to use certain features like Q&A and analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Innovative, Privacy-Focused Collaboration Tool"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I love the Open-Ear Comfort with OpenMeet, as it avoids the discomfort of traditional headsets by using bone conduction and air conduction with their DualPitch™ Technology. At only 78g, the headset is incredibly light, making it feel weightless even during long meetings. I appreciate the situational awareness it offers since my ears aren't covered, allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings while on a call. It's also great for avoiding ear fatigue, as there's no pressure buildup during extended use. The DualPitch™ Technology is impressive, giving a richer audio experience with full-range sound and deeper bass, which is enjoyable for music and high-fidelity video calls. I also value how OpenMeet addresses privacy concerns with its end-to-end encryption and offers a robust toolset without hefty subscription fees. It's easy to integrate, allowing for customization and API integrations which is great for tech-heavy teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I dislike the 'Ease of Entry' friction. Unlike Zoom or Google Meet, OpenMeet often requires more setup. Guest users sometimes struggle with browser permissions or unexpected plugin requirements. It could be improved with a more streamlined 'one-click' join experience that doesn’t feel like a tech hurdle for non-technical users. Non-technical users often struggle with pairing modes and Bluetooth menus. A 'Zero-Configuration' out-of-box experience would help, where pre-paired dongles ensure easy setup with simple instructions like 'Plug it in and turn it on.' Also, smart auto-switching for default audio settings would prevent common issues like 'I can’t hear anything.' Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Real-World Meetups with Privacy Focus"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I like OpenMeet because it's a free, privacy-focused platform that's easy to use and keeps my data safe. It's perfect for organizing real-world meetups and connecting with local communities. I appreciate its privacy-first approach and how it simplifies event planning. The event creation and RSVP tools make organizing events simple, and the group management and local discovery features help me connect with people who share my interests easily. Getting started with OpenMeet was surprisingly smooth, allowing me to set up events and join communities within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

Some features in OpenMeet are still basic, and the platform could use more advanced event management tools. It is also less popular than bigger platforms, so finding events sometimes takes extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Meetings Made Easy"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I really appreciate OpenMeet for its simplicity and smooth performance. The clean interface makes it super easy to start or join meetings without any confusion. I find the audio and video quality to be reliable, allowing meetings to run smoothly without needing a heavy setup. These aspects make online meetings stress-free for me. I also love how the platform has solved the problem of complicated and time-consuming meetings, making communication more efficient. The initial setup was seamless and straightforward, enabling me to start using OpenMeet almost immediately. I definitely recommend it for its ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

One area that could be improved is adding a few more customization options, such as additional layout or background choices. Sometimes having more control for meeting appearance or minor settings would make the experience even better. Overall OpenMeet works very well, and these are just small enhancements that could add extra value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Interface, Needs Advanced Features"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use OpenMeet for hosting and joining virtual meetings. I find it really helpful for collaborating with team members, sharing updates, and staying connected in my remote job. The most interesting thing for me is its simple and clean interface, which makes it easy for team members to join. This simple interface helps me to join meetings easily and navigate features so I can focus more on the discussion rather than figuring out the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I think openmeet could improve by providing more advanced meeting features and better performance when many participants join, because sessions can feel a bit limited with larger groups. Features like screen share control, meeting recordings, and more participant management options would be beneficial. Also, the initial setup was kind of easy but not as easy as Google Meet. "Effortless Meetings with OpenMeet"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I like Openmeet's very simple and easy-to-use interface. Compared to other platforms, it allows more video and audio communication, making joining meetings quick and hassle-free. I also like the stability and clarity during meetings, which improves understanding and engagement. The clear audio and video, along with the optimized video quality despite bandwidth variations, enhance my experience significantly. The platform is very easy to control, allowing me to focus on discussions without any technical glitches, and ensuring uninterrupted communication. Overall, it makes my meetings more productive and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I have some suggestions, like during meetings, I face some connectivity and lag issues. It would be great to improve video quality optimization, as variations in bandwidth can cause video or audio quality to drop, especially on slow internet connections. Occasionally, there are glitches or delays that affect smooth usage. Additionally, screen sharing or joining links can be slow at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
