"Reliable Communication Platform with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use OpenMeet for hosting virtual meetings, webinars, and team collaborations. What I like most about OpenMeet is its seamless video and audio quality, making virtual meetings feel natural and uninterrupted. The intuitive interface, easy scheduling, and interactive features like screen sharing and chat enhance engagement. It reliably supports both small team calls and larger webinars without technical hassles. These features make OpenMeet valuable by saving time and reducing frustration during meetings. High-quality video and audio ensure clear communication, while the intuitive interface and easy scheduling streamline planning. Interactive tools like screen sharing and chat enhance collaboration, making discussions more productive and keeping participants engaged throughout sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

OpenMeet could improve in handling large meetings, as occasional lag and limited participant controls can disrupt sessions. Recording options and storage are somewhat restrictive, and advanced scheduling features like recurring meetings need more flexibility. Enhancing integrations with calendars and productivity tools would further streamline workflows for busy teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Accessible, and Budget-Friendly"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I like OpenMeet for its fast, engaging, and robust communication capabilities with my team. It's an easy way to present ideas, tips, and tricks to management. Compared to Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, it's faster and has fewer barriers to use. I appreciate that, like Google Meet, it doesn't require a desktop app installation, making it easy to access. The reasonable price and good quality are why my whole team and management have been using it for the past few months. The transition from Microsoft Teams to OpenMeet was straightforward because it took less time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I feel like there are fewer advanced tools than I need. I would like to have tools like screen sharing with highlighters, less advanced filters, a waiting room, and the ability to display more than 30 people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Remote Collaboration"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use OpenMeet for online meetings, webinars, and virtual classes. It's super handy for collaborating with team members and clients remotely. I love the simplicity and ease of use. The interface is very intuitive, making it easy for anyone to join or host a meeting without needing extensive technical knowledge. The screen sharing and file sharing features are really useful, especially for presentations and training sessions, and very seamless, allowing for effortless collaboration and presentation sharing. I think video and audio quality is also great, even with multiple participants. The chat feature is super handy for sharing links, files, or asking questions during meetings. Plus, the recording feature is really useful for referencing later or sharing with others who couldn't attend. The initial setup was a breeze! 😊 The onboarding process was straightforward, and the interface is super intuitive. We were up and running in no time. The support team was also really helpful in getting us sorted out. Integrating OpenMeet with tools like Google Calendar and Slack makes scheduling and joining meetings super seamless. I can schedule meetings directly from Google Calendar and get reminders on Slack. Works like a charm! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I've noticed that OpenMeet can be a bit laggy sometimes, especially if there are a lot of participants or if the internet connection is slow. Also, the mobile app could use some improvement - it's not as smooth as the desktop version. Improving the navigation and layout of the mobile app, making the screen sharing feature more intuitive, adding more controls for managing participants, and supporting landscape mode for better viewing would be great. "Easy, Flexible Meetings with Great Collaboration Features"
What do you like best about openmeet?

What I like best about OpenMeet is its ease of use and flexibility for virtual meetings. The platform allows for quick setup of meetings without complex scheduling or software requirements, making it convenient for both hosts and participants. I also appreciate features like screen sharing, recording, and real-time collaboration, which make online discussions more productive and interactive. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly solution that helps streamline communication and keeps teams connected efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

One downside of OpenMeet is that, while it’s simple and user-friendly, it can lack some of the advanced features found in larger platforms, such as breakout rooms, detailed analytics, or deep integrations with other tools. Occasionally, connectivity or audio/video quality can be inconsistent depending on participants’ networks. Additionally, customization options for branding or meeting layouts are limited, which can be a drawback for organizations wanting a more polished, professional experience. "Fast, Efficient, and Intuitive Meeting Solution"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I find OpenMeet to be very quick to get signed on, and you're just signed in almost faster than you can turn around, which is a big plus for me. The options that are available inside OpenMeet are quickly accessible, especially the chat, which is easy to get to without having to leave the screen. It just opens up inside. Additionally, turning on or off the mic and camera is very simple. I also appreciate how it integrates well into meetings and stuff, working good without issues. The initial setup only took a couple of minutes, and I can't complain about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Effective Conferencing, Needs Minor Tweaks"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I enjoy using Openmeet for talking with vendors because it allows me to conference with vendors outside of the US easily without additional fees. I love the conference feature the most; it's free, reliable, and I can gather a few people at once. Openmeet includes features similar to Microsoft Teams without needing a subscription like Microsoft 365, making it great for small entities like mine. The initial setup was extremely easy, which I appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

It's still fairly new so all kinks have to be worked out. From time to time it might freeze in the middle of a conference call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Calls, Secure, Needs Better Tool Integration"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use OpenMeet for client video calls and appreciate the privacy it provides since not many people know about it, making it safe from hacking and data leaks. I like the smooth calling experience and good interface. The instant room links are also a great feature. The initial setup was very easy with a cool interface that feels like a white label solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I think OpenMeet needs to focus on integration with work tools. It would be great to have better integration with project management tools like Slack and Asana. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Connecting Minds Seamlessly"
What do you like best about openmeet?

OpenMeet is a community-focused platform that makes it easy to connect with people nearby, organize events, and build meaningful local groups. It’s simple to use, privacy-friendly, and offers tools for group management, messaging, and event coordination—all without the noise or ads of large social networks. By emphasizing real-world connections, data ownership, and accessibility, OpenMeet helps users foster authentic engagement and collaboration within their communities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

One downside of OpenMeet is that, while its community focus is great, it’s still a relatively new platform—so the user base may be smaller, making it harder to find active local groups in some areas. The interface, though simple, can sometimes feel basic compared to more established event or meeting apps, and a few advanced features (like integrations or analytics) are limited. Additionally, review and approval processes for content or events can take time, which may slow down engagement for active organizers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Crystal Clear Calls, Ease of Use, Minor Button Layout Challenges"
What do you like best about openmeet?

I like that openmeet provides crystal clear calls with a dual noise-canceling microphone system that blocks out background noise. Also, it's extremely lightweight and comfortable, with an all-day comfort flexible titanium frame and padded headband that reduces ear fatigue. The initial setup was very easy, and on a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate my likelihood of recommending it as a 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

Button controls in openmeet can be confusing. The button combinations and placement make them difficult to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
