**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manav O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about openmeet?**

I use OpenMeet primarily for hybrid webinars and attending professional meetings as well as calls with friends, and sometimes I use the member board integration. I like the join in one click feature because it helps everyone, including the older generation, to join and utilize the software without issues. The voting system checks are useful, and the real-time translation feature is very beneficial for our international clients, improving clarity in communication. I also appreciate the cleaner UI compared to other options, as it makes the experience feel seamless and not tiring.

**What do you dislike about openmeet?**

It's a little too formal. There are no funny filters that we can chuckle upon, and it has a complex backend for hosts.

**What problems is openmeet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use OpenMeet for its one-click join, solving complex software issues for the older generation. The voting system and real-time translation improve communication with international clients. The clean UI makes usage feel seamless and not tiring.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about openmeet?**

The best thing about this OpenMeet platform is that it makes virtual meetings easily accessible with its browser-based approach, no downloads or any standalone application required. I also like how the participants can join sessions without any download, which reduces the friction. This platform also supports interactive features for making video calls, which is very useful for webinars and group discussions.

**What do you dislike about openmeet?**

Though their core functionality is solid, their UI should be more polished and modern, some of their advanced features feels bit limited when compared to other larger enterprise platforms, especcially comes to customisation and integrations. Overall, their platform's intuitiveness should be improved.

**What problems is openmeet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Openmeet solves the challenge of onboarding participants with a virtual meeting, without having many technical barriers. Since all of it runs in the browser, this removes the hassle of installation issues and compatibility problems. Overall, this platform helps us improve the engagement rate and reduce hassles in the webinar sessions.

  ### 3. OpenMeet: Easy Browser-Based Meetings with Engaging Polls

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit G. | Web Developer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about openmeet?**

OpenMeet is very easy to use and doesn’t require any complicated setup, which makes it great for quick meetings and events. I like that it works directly in the browser, so there’s no need to install anything. The interface is simple and clean, and features like polls and audience interaction tools make sessions more engaging. It’s especially useful for small team meetings, webinars, or community events where you need something lightweight and fast.

**What do you dislike about openmeet?**

One drawback of OpenMeet is that it still feels somewhat limited compared with more established platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. It doesn’t offer some of the more advanced features and integrations that can be important for larger or more professional meetings. From time to time, there are also minor performance or connectivity hiccups, especially when more participants join. Overall, it works well for basic use, but there’s still room to improve scalability and add more depth to the feature set.

**What problems is openmeet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OpenMeet addresses the need for quick, accessible online meetings without requiring complex tools or any installations. It makes it easy to organize webinars, team discussions, and community events, which is especially helpful for people who don’t want heavy software or complicated setup steps. For me, it saves time and makes collaboration smoother because participants can join directly through their browser. It feels particularly well suited to small teams and smaller events where ease of use and speed matter more than advanced features.

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about openmeet?**

I use OpenMeet for hosting and joining virtual meetings. I find it really helpful for collaborating with team members, sharing updates, and staying connected in my remote job. The most interesting thing for me is its simple and clean interface, which makes it easy for team members to join. This simple interface helps me to join meetings easily and navigate features so I can focus more on the discussion rather than figuring out the tool.

**What do you dislike about openmeet?**

I think openmeet could improve by providing more advanced meeting features and better performance when many participants join, because sessions can feel a bit limited with larger groups. Features like screen share control, meeting recordings, and more participant management options would be beneficial. Also, the initial setup was kind of easy but not as easy as Google Meet.

Overall, it makes my meetings more productive and efficient.

I have some suggestions, like during meetings, I face some connectivity and lag issues. It would be great to improve video quality optimization, as variations in bandwidth can cause video or audio quality to drop, especially on slow internet connections. Occasionally, there are glitches or delays that affect smooth usage. Additionally, screen sharing or joining links can be slow at times.
