OnPage Reviews FAQs

What is OnPage, and what problem is it built to solve?

OnPage is an incident alert management and clinical communication and collaboration platform. It is built to route critical notifications to the on-call person who can respond, helping organizations address urgent events and reduce reliance on email, text messages, and phone calls.

What languages does OnPage support?

It supports eight languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Hebrew, Persian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

What company sizes and industries is OnPage the best fit for?

OnPage’s strongest fit in the positive user experience is among small businesses, with mid-market and enterprise teams also represented. Healthcare and IT-related organizations stand out among the industries using it.

How long does it take to implement OnPage across a team?

OnPage can be quick to get live: under a month is the most common reported implementation range. Longer implementations are also reported, particularly when teams need more time to configure the system.
Time to go live Relative frequency
Under 1 month Most common
1–3 months Less common
6–12 months Occasional

What customer support options does OnPage provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available through chat, including access to a live representative 24/7. The support experience is often described as responsive and helpful, especially when resolving setup or delivery issues.

What is the experience like for teams switching to OnPage from another tool?

Switching to OnPage has often meant moving from physical pagers, older paging services, or less dependable alerting and call-center workflows to alerts on a mobile device. Users value the greater reliability, easier access while away from a desk, and more control over on-call schedules and escalation; the transition can still require some setup and adjustment.

What features or capabilities could make OnPage even more useful?

Teams would find OnPage more useful with more control over how alerts sound and repeat, especially after an alert has been acknowledged. Common improvement areas include:
  • Offer more customizable alert tones, volume, and notification behavior.
  • Make it easier to stop or manage repeated alerts once someone has responded.
  • Make the administration interface and schedule management clearer and easier to navigate.
  • Expand reporting and integration options to better support team workflows.

Is OnPage considered safe and secure for handling data?

OnPage is used for secure communication involving sensitive patient information, and users value being able to keep those messages private rather than relying on ordinary texting. That makes it a relevant option for teams handling clinical communications.

"Efficient and Reliable: My Experience with OnPage"
3.5/5
What do you like best about OnPage?

I appreciate OnPage for its robust alert system that ensures critical messages are never missed. The prioritization of alerts helps in managing time-sensitive issues effectively, making it indispensable in high-stakes environments. Its user-friendly interface also allows for seamless navigation and operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

Despite its many benefits, OnPage can improve by enhancing its integration capabilities with other software. Occasionally, the app experiences delays in syncing with external calendars and databases, which can hinder workflow efficiency. Additionally, a more flexible customization option would be beneficial for tailoring its features to specific organizational needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from OnPage Customer Success of OnPage

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with OnPage! We are glad to hear that our robust alert system and prioritization features have been beneficial to you in managing time-sensitive issues effectively. We are constantly updating OnPage with new features and functions. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to strive for excellence in meeting your communication needs.

"On Call Notifications Made Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about OnPage?

OnPage offers multiple capability for notification to groups or schedules of groups via multiple methods (app, phone, text) and is very customizable. It does the job its predecessors "used to" do before they grew into monitory platforms and away from simple notification systems. Customer support is very responsive - usually right away, always within a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

Not much - it does what it is supposed to do. One annoyance from the web management platform is changes often require a page refresh before they show up, and a page refresh ALWAYS goes back to the main Dashboard requiring additional navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from OnPage Customer Success of OnPage

Thank you for the positive feedback! We're pleased that OnPage has been able to meet your notification needs effectively. We understand the inconvenience with the web management platform and will work on improving the user experience. We appreciate your input.

"ONPage is wonderful system allowing clinicians to relax knowing they'll get important communications"
5/5
What do you like best about OnPage?

The ability to forward pages quickly to others and set priority of message. I love that a paging system allows you to search in organization whom to send it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

I can't think of anything, but perhaps the ability to forward directly to my email or a web-based portal to open on my laptop to cut and paste into documentation on the client. In my other position, running a virtual follow-up clinic, I could see the value in this area also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective and Easy to Use"
5/5
What do you like best about OnPage?

OnPage is a great alternative to carrying an extra phone for on-call duties. App is intuitive and easy to use. Alerts can be set to break through any DnD or focus modes so you never have to worry about missing a page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

I wish there were more options for page sounds. The built-in ones are ok and get the job done but more options would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from OnPage Customer Success of OnPage

We're glad to hear that OnPage is effective and easy to use for your on-call duties. We appreciate your feedback about the page sounds and will take it into consideration for future updates.

"Good"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OnPage?

They finally added the little red circle when there is a non-answered page, which is nice. Larger font appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

Please make the phone number of the patient to call back automatically encrypted with a star 67. Doximity Dialer does this and Athena.

Have a night mode where in the very darkness of a room it's able to read in large print Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from OnPage Customer Success of OnPage

We appreciate your input! The addition of the red circle and larger font are aimed at improving user experience. The ability to call out from the app and mask the caller ID is a feature request that is being added soon.

"Good functionality, could use a better admin UI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OnPage?

The ability to schedule on call shifts and create groups that are as much "set it and forget it" as you can get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

The admin UI is very clunky and there is not a web interface for the non-admin users. Documentation could be better as well. For example, I knew that you could have email the onpage group (or user) but it doesn't give any documentation about what the email should be, I had to figure that out and ask our support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from OnPage Customer Success of OnPage

Thank you for sharing your experience with OnPage. We value your feedback on the admin UI and documentation, and we will strive to make improvements in these areas. We're pleased to hear that our platform is meeting your team's needs for incident alerting and on-call support.

"Very good alert system just lacking slightly"
4/5
What do you like best about OnPage?

I like being able to see who on my team has alerts on/off and who has viewed them and who hasn't. Alert tones make sure you hear it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

I dislike it controlling my phones media volume and not being able to control alerts to make them low priority so it doesn't block my screen when using GPS or something important Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from OnPage Customer Success of OnPage

We're glad to hear that you find our alert system helpful for managing your team's alerts and that the alert tones ensure you don't miss any notifications. We appreciate your feedback about the control of media volume and the ability to prioritize alerts, and we will take this into consideration for future improvements. In the OnPage app Settings you can choose a different audible alert and one of these is the low priority alert sound. Audible alerts can be set to high, low, silent and on the Android phone you can select vibrate.
