Very friendly and genuinely helpful team. The first time I reached out a couple of years ago, I ended up talking with a software engineer who actually took an interest in my oddball use case. He took real notes, asked smart questions, and made me feel like; even if my requests didn’t get built just for me; they were at least being seriously considered.
Fast-forward to today: even after on-and-off use over the years, I still get contacted by real humans when I need help. The live reps have even jumped in on tasks that would’ve been time-consuming for me but they could handle quickly on their end. That meant a lot, especially early on.
The platform itself has matured a ton. The interface is now smooth, capable, and much more intuitive… almost like watching a scrappy, idealistic, dreamy teenager grow into a reliable, hardworking adult.
Thanks, MyAIFrontDesk, I appreciate the support and the evolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to name what I don’t like, it’s really just the gaps between what MyAIFrontDesk currently does and the weird, very specific things I wish it could do.
Response speed – Even with the robotic voice, the response time still feels slow and hesitant. I know I’ve loaded a lot of information into the system, but… it’s AI. My expectation is: “Handle it.”
Outbound calling + flexible scheduling logic – This is the big one for me. I offer ~30 different class types, and I would love to run an outbound workflow that calls students with upcoming expirations, asks about their flexible days/times, then—based on their previous class type—offers 3–5 actual matching schedule options from my live calendar. Not just the next available time slot.
Custom curated text messages from API – I can build an API that generates the exact message to send, but right now MyAIFrontDesk doesn’t have the flexibility to take a unique string from my API and send it as the outbound SMS. That’s a blocker for the more advanced follow-up and scheduling flows I’d like to automate.
I don’t even need it to register people in my scheduling software – You don’t have to integrate with Enrollware. I can handle invoices, confirmations, and backend automation myself. I just need MAIFD to hook the customer into the right bucket, then let me take it from there.
I get that my use case is unusual and not something most customers need. That’s totally fine. But if more of the “pieces” get added over time, I’ll happily build the backend to feed the AI everything it needs. MAIFD is already close — just needs a little more flexibility.
