What do you like best about Moss | Spend smarter?

Moss is extremely intuitive and well-structured. Booking business trips and paying with the company credit card works seamlessly, and submitting personal expenses is quick and easy. The automatic receipt recognition works reliably and saves a lot of time. I also really appreciate the smooth integration between the web app and the iPhone app, as well as the ability to add the Moss card to Apple Wallet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Moss | Spend smarter?

What do you like best about Moss | Spend smarter?

I find Moss | Spend smarter to be an all-in-one expense management platform that's really useful for issuing corporate credit cards, processing supplier invoices, and handling employee reimbursements. The ability to track receipts, automatically block cards if receipts aren't submitted, and easily attach receipts to expenses is fantastic. I appreciate how the AI and OCR technology is very strong, automatically recognizing similar suppliers and default cost centers, GL codes, and VAT rates. I like the integration with Airwallex for paying supplier invoices and the scheduling feature for invoice payments. The integration features are strong, too, like with Charlie HR for quick employee onboarding/offboarding, and the two-way integration with Xero works really well. It's great that the platform is very receptive to feedback and is continuously looking for ways to improve. This makes life much easier for a finance team, speeding up bookkeeping and establishing important control measures through approval flows and receipt captures. I also like the prepayments feature that automatically pushes journals into Xero and the ability to lock periods which prevents pushing historical invoices. Setting up Moss was straightforward and it was fully integrated within a week or two. Overall, it's an easy-to-use tool that's well integrated with my financial tools. What do you like best about Moss | Spend smarter?

We keep finding more use cases for the virtual cards.

We are using them for most of our software subscriptions, as well as providing them to staff for travel costs, or for any ad hoc purchases they need to make (eg training courses, staff entertainment). The virtual cards have been a great way for us to allow staff to pay for things directly without us losing control of spend as we can control the spending limits on every card, and see the spending in real time. The system also makes it very easy to spot and chase missing receipts. It's a world away from getting a credit card statement once a month and trying to hunt down receipts.

Our staff also love the system and find it easy to use.

The reimbursements system works exactly as we hoped it would - although since we are now using the virtual cards we are using the reimbursements less and less (except for mileage claims)

Onboarding was very quick and straightforward.

Finally, the cashback on the card spend is a great bonus and offsets quite a chunk of the Moss fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Moss | Spend smarter?

Not much to dislike, feedback from all the users in the business has been overwhelmingly positive.

The AI support bot is impressive some of the time, and generally it's not too hard to get through to a human via email support if you really need it, although once the AI bot decided to close down my case without telling me.

A couple of users have reported issues with their cards not working but these have been temporary and got resolved.

The Xero integration is pretty good, but there are always a few transactions that don't go across automatically and it's hard to understand why. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the easy-to-use interface and the very helpful support team, including the chat bot. The receipt reconciliation works incredibly well. It rarely detects the VAT rate from receipts/invoices. I cannot see historic card activity when a card is transferred. I cannot restrict merchant use for Merchant cards, which should be obvious. I really like that Moss | Spend smarter has an app and is very easy to use. Uploading expenses is quick and straightforward. What makes it really valuable is having everything in one place, and I can assign receipts to specific items or trips, which allows me to create a project or trip and then add receipts to it. What do you like best about Moss | Spend smarter?

So simple to use, I can pay for something and immediately add my receipts using the app in about 3 clicks and it connects up to the right accountancy codes. Massively reduces admin and means I am not having to save and try to find lost receipts!

It has made our processes much for managing company cards and capturing the receipt information so easy, that there is no excuse for them to go missing. Adding limits to each user also keeps us within budget with no nasty surprises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I've used the issue response before logging an issue, whilst someone did call me from technical support and assist with my query, it was not an instant response and it would therefore be helpful to have an immediate live response to an issue from the support team.
