It was easier to work with than the analytical tools provided by software vendors. I also liked that I could append data to a data set and then update my analysis with a click of a button. It was a great starter tool for me and it helped me do the analysis I needed but that my survey vendor couldn't provide. Specifically creation of custom banners and statistical testing. The price was also reasonable. **What do you dislike about MarketSight?** Setting up the banners and tables was a very manual process. I needed to manually set up tables and banners, which was very time-consuming. I wasn't able to set up multiple tables at a time, so it was very time-consuming. Customer support was slow to respond to my requests, and usually just directed me to online help articles I had already read. The integration with my software provider is through an excel import, and it worked ok but there were occasionally issues. I wasn't aware of any AI being used within the software itself. Occasionally the system was down, or I wasn't able to log-in and it was difficult to get someone to respond. **What problems is MarketSight solving and how is that benefiting you?** MarketSight provided the data analysis needed for my market research projects. They did what the survey partners couldn't do, creating custom banners, custom tables, and stat testing. ### 2. I'm not sure if it's my company not allocating enough server space or what, but uploading datasets or even accessing different pages takes a long time. Additionally, MarketSight still seems like an untapped resource as far as different features go and the interface doesn't lend itself to exploring those features. **Recommendations to others considering MarketSight:** I would consider all options at your disposal before considering MarketSight. Upside/good feature: The final result of the exported crosstabs is good looking and doesn't take too much to get it to a visual that can be shared with clients. **What do you dislike about MarketSight?** Most difficult: Appending data (coded open ended questions in most cases) can be difficult. The user interface is challenging when building crosstabs. The windows are so small that it can be such a challenge to even read the fully text of a questions (frustrating with ratings questions which start out with answer options that start with the same verbiage many times). Downside: Recently I tried to copy over some user defined variables and a crosstab into another data set and it came out messed up. I had to define/build over again. Not as helpful as it should be: I also recently worked with a rep who was unable to resolve or give explanation to a problem I had. **What problems is MarketSight solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use large datasets among a small staff. Getting these datasets under control as quickly as possible is needed to inform our reporting. Internally we can fairly quickly construct simple crosstabs for internal use, but also take more time and care to create a deliverable for client use. I would also have one person in the company familiarize themselves with the product to hold internal training's that can be longer and more specified to individual needs. **What problems is MarketSight solving and how is that benefiting you?** MarketSight has allowed me to become more efficient with my job, especially when it comes to prepping for a report. I am able to create a tab plan and have all my tabs ready to go before our data is even cleaned and weighted. Small startups cannot afford purchasing costly reports like this and we end searching for cheaper sources. Easy to use and easy to set up. Pricing is great. The ability to build crosstabs with whatever set up you want is a must have. I love the new dashboard feature, is easy to set up and use too. I have only good things to say about them, never had a problem.
