Extensive program that will require separate training to fully utilize. Nothing about the program is noteworthy as a "dislike" but without the proper training, it will be difficult to fully utilize a fraction of the potential. I like the ease of use when having to make a work order, It is user friendly for employees whom have limited computer experiance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting feature could use an upgrade to save your changes once you put in a field. As i run reports every day and i have to keep changing the fields even though i put year to date . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Accruent Maintenance Connection solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving a predictive maintenance issue that we have with the maintenance connection. Utilizing this allows us to break the machine down into individual parts and track the wear for the individual parts. In turn, this Will help us to determine when we need to maintain certain parts for this specialized piece of equipment. We can then schedule and have details on hand to complete a quick change over the part we are having issues with. What do you like best about Accruent Maintenance Connection?

Very responsive customer service during development and implementation. Showed a willingness to work with us as a vendor to tailor configuration to our needs. The software is very intuitive and feature rich. It can be used to handle more than just asset management, Preventative Maintenance, Procedures, and Task tracking. What do you dislike about Accruent Maintenance Connection?

Some parts of the Software is not as configurable as needed for large scale deployments. All tools/modules work effectively, but allowing more Admin controls to some of the features would be very helpful. Specifically, Rules Management and Reports Management. There are other company entities that have pieces of software such as LoginHUb (MC Canada) and they don't appear to be on the same page an a unified company. Asset Tracking, Asset Metering with a cradle to grave view of the complete history of an asset and its maintenance.

Reduce Downtime Work order and equipment history data (e.g. types of repairs, frequency of repairs and failure causes) can be used to identify trends, eliminate failures and improve equipment reliability, resulting in reduced equipment downtime. What do you like best about Accruent Maintenance Connection?

This program has substantially helped organize and monitor assets and work orders for both companies I have worked with this in. It collects all the information necessary to optimize efficiency within a maintenance department and it is incredibly helpful in organizing work flows. If you have a large team that does a lot of small projects, this site is wonderful for tracking and monitoring purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Accruent Maintenance Connection?

It is confusing, and it needs quite a bit of work. The database is helpful, but only if you know how to work it correctly. One wrong click, one piece of information forgotten, one small mistake, and you won't get the data that you need. There are many faults in the system. Previously, they had MC University which was extremely helpful in learning new ways to get or collect data, to vent about frustrations and get helpful feedback, but also the forum where dozens of other companies who also utilize this program were able to get one one form and discuss issues and solutions. Included in MC University was the basic training videos that, if you needed, you could go to at any time and re-learn the system. They ended up switching over to a new training center, and it is not as helpful as MC University was. So there is a learning curve to this system. I have been working with it for 3 years and I still fall short on knowing how to do tasks that should be simple. (Mainly in reporting) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A major issue that MC has helped me with in both companies I have used this in is tracking work orders. This seems like it would be easy enough to do, but when everything is in paper, work requests fall through the cracks more often than we would like. The system has helped with organizing work requests as they come in, monitoring down time on an asset, and alerting us if work has been 'sitting on the back burner' for too long. I like that it is so versatile, there are so many features that so far nearly everything we want to do can be done. Any tracking, metrics, reminders, etc. The program really can adapt to fit our needs even as our needs change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not intuitive. I often have to reach out to support only to find out that the feature I'm looking for was there it just wasn't obvious. What do you like best about Accruent Maintenance Connection?

Simple hierarchy and module organization. Easy to automate PM checks and services and simple for techs to fill out work as it is completed. Solid support from implementation coach. What do you dislike about Accruent Maintenance Connection?

I would like to see a better system for creating reports. Currently I need a report for every KPI. I'd like to combine my KPIs in one simple report to show to both techs and management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very user friendly for new teams and people in new roles if there is some familiarity with other CMMS or database systems. Get training on the reports that are available and how to edit them to make them what you need, the report system is pretty good and can save a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Accruent Maintenance Connection solving and how is that benefiting you?

By making sure all equipment is reviewed by technicians on a periodic basis we've reduced mechanical downtime by 50%. Using the requestor portal defects are identified by personnel in different departments -these are then addressed by our techs and when the work order is closed it sends an automated email to the requestor.
