The original GUI was quite clunky however has improved significantly. At times the MC cloud can be slow. Need more storage (greater than 10mb) for some manuals. Need a better report system. Trying to figure out the data that is going to pop out can be difficult. I wish I could report to a Service Requester the status of their problem i.e. parts on order, waiting on sub contractor etc etc. KPI boards are not as informative as I would like. Service Requestor is very easy to use and provides service ticket creation approval capability (desired). The Tech WorkCenter facilitates rapid task completion, status, and activity while Techs are using mobile devices - tasks can be esaily closed in the field and eliminates the need for non value-add office work.

The mobile version could use some work. It's a work in progress and has come a long way from a few years ago, but the difference between the desktop and mobile versions keep our technicians from using it. Also ideally we should be able to use the mobile phone cameras to scan bar codes, currently this is not possible. Two way communication between requesters and MRO users needs to be addressed. We have an enterprise environment of over 18000 users, and 150 sites. The best part of this program is the user interface on both the requester side, as well as the super user / technician side.

Very easy to use and customer service is pretty good. MC does go out of their way to help make sure that we are happy with the project. MCU is a great additional feature for people trying to get more out of the application. I can personalize the application based on how each site we implement will use it. No after hours support and not enough releases/improvements made within any given year. MC's inconsistent performance on RF guns and while it is good to cater to smart devices, let's not forget how traditional warehouses operate. With my experience with MC the asset management utilization is the most helpful aspect, there are also great add ons for creating work orders and creating purchase orders. the user interface is very friendly and can be used on my phone my ipad or wherever I am on the go to get my job done. previously I could only use MC in internet explorer which was not very helpful for me as I am on call 24 hours a day and have to lug my computer with my but now I can use my I phone or ipad so I can really be anywhere and able to order parts or view work orders, there are not many other issues I can think of at this time. - Filtering and finding your intended work orders is always possible, even if you have a little info about the work order. (For example just knowing part of the description or requester name on a specific date!). So I can find the status of every work order I need.
- Providing different types of customizable reports is a real positive point.
- Using MC, I aware of all works done on a typical work day. It is very important for me as a maintenance planner.

Web based access, ease of use, and very adaptable to our working environment. I also love the mobile express and how easy it is to use. We can now have pictures added to our work orders. With the mobile units you can complete work orders from the field in a very short time, and it all goes directly into the database to be recalled whenever needed. I like the ease of it. It is only one page and very simple to use. There are follow up emails that allow me to see my submission and also receive updates from facilities. It is a good system to use instead of our former emailing system in which you could track as well. You can attach photos to supplement your requests, which could be very useful if you cannot find the words to describe it or to help facilities identify the issue in a quicker manner. The ability to get basic information in quickly and ramp up at a speed that works for your group was the most attractive feature for us. We started with building and room info and now have automatic assignments working. Next will be the consumables inventory. Every year we use more and get more out of it. as a user, I tend to rate things in the middle unless there is something special about it. I give MC very high ratings because it is deserved.
MC is also very easy to use. As a university, we get a new population in our halls every year and with a short demo of how to submit a work order, hundreds of new freshmen do it successfully the very first time. It is also easy for the users using MC Express on tablets to receive their work orders instantly (a big time saver if your buildings are spread out), record their time and materials and move on. Nothing so far. The software performs as advertised and we have even been able to interface it with our resident management system. The last upgrade solved one of the few complaints which was foreign language support. Some information is difficult to access. For example, the vendor info can only be seen from the inventory portal - finding it on its own is clunky.
