**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

MadKudu pulls key buyer signals into one place within Salesforce, making it easier for sales teams to focus on high-potential leads. The platform provides clear insights into which users are seeing the most value from our solution, helping us prioritize outreach effectively. Additionally, it simplifies adding potential contacts to our outbound campaigns, ensuring no valuable opportunity is missed.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

While MadKudu provides great insights, refining the granularity of lead scoring and allowing more customization in how signals are weighted would be beneficial.  I would like to ability to add custom fields, use a search features that will narrow a search based on those custom fields.

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to find my top users, with some high level information on there role and influence in the company.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

I set up a workflow in Clay where I was pulling in leads from a linkedin feed, but not all them were a good fit for my product. I didn't want to spend a ton of time reviewing the leads, so I pulledin MadKudu to score the leads based on my offering and man, did it deliver. The scores they are able to give you, along with the intel they have that drives that number, is really really helpful. Was able to only reach out to the best leads and drive campaign success a lot quicker.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

Pricing is a big jump to get into, but the product is worth it!

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is reducing the amount of time we spend manually qualifying leads.

- It takes time to read the decision trees used in scoring.

-Deploying new models can be exhilarating, and a little scary!

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used MadKudu at 2 companies. Both times the team has been excellent. I really enjoy working with the people there and learning from them.

At my previous company, we were able to shift a sizable amount of our workforce to an outbound sales motion because of how accurate the score was in predicting not only the best leads but also the worst. It saved us ~2M in headcount and made us a more efficient business. This was in an enterprise environment with multiple products. MadKudu is Enterprise ready and can handle nuance. 

Currently starting over with MadKudu at another company, and I am excited to see what I can learn about our lead quality and how to grow the business. With every company come unique challenges but MadKudu surrounds me with a team that ensures I will be successful.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

I love how I can see the analysis on how my different leads are performing. This is incredibly helpful for our targeting. What really makes MadKudu stand apart is how I can see inside the typical blackbox (6sense) and can manipulate the scoring models as needed to ensure we have unique scoring for different regions and segments. This ability to tweak and test gives me so much more confidence in the resulting segmentation.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

Some of the testing is difficult but the product team has been making improvements there. I find it difficult to trust some of the performance analyses because it can contradict our internal data.

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MadKudu is solving for our lead qualifications. It allows me to put unique qualifiers into the model and to help support unique regions as needed. This is beneficial so that I can have one tool that supports all sides of our pipeline.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

You get a better heartbeat on your accounts and pipeline by looking at the activities and insights MadKudu provides. Dealing with thousands of accounts can be challenging and stressful at times but with Madkudu you can cut through the BS and get the information you want from the prospects who are actually interested and engaging with your product/service.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

A live dashboard connected to my CRM to be able to access the top prospects all in one place. Sometimes it can be time-consuming going account by account to see whose been active recently. THe madkudu emails help but a live updated dashboard would be extremely helpful

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figuring out which accounts and prospects are actively engaging with my products. Allows me to pro-actively reach out to warmer lead types which leads to more engaged prospects

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

Overall, MadKudu helps me target who I should spending my time with in a very easy fashion. While I trust what MadKudu provides, it's up to your org on how they want to provide that data to you - which can be frustrating if they are only exposing MadKudu's insights  with an embedded widget within the CRM rather than provide access filter and review within MadKudu's portal itself.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

I really can't think of anything. If you're working a cold territory (like I am), then there may be times where you may think it doesn't work. However, for the few folks within my territory that have been 'active', then the insights seem to be spot on.

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping provide visibility into whether my 'leads' are real while providing true insight into what makes said lead an actual lead. This helps me with managing my time, who I spend my time with, and helps propel conversations into something more contextual rather than something that is pitch-driven.

MadKudu surfaces only the best prospects to our sales team, so they can focus on our highest value leads. MadKudu integrates with our existing tech stack, powering our existing workflows, making it a seamless connection. The support team at MadKudu is very helpful and quick to answer any questions that I have.

There is a learning curve to learning how to admin the tool, however the CSM and Support team are super helpful and knowledgable about the tool.

Finding the best of the best leads to send to next lead funnel stage. Ability to optimize lead scoring for our different BU and ICPs.

I love how we can prioritize our leads, as it is always difficult to identify which prospects to priotize. It can also be a great tool to upsell existing customers on new products!! The output also provides jusitfication for the results, which is helpful when validating data.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

The bulk scoring process is clunky when you try to merge the scores with existing spreadsheets. I wish there was a way for MK to add data, rather than mess with input/output sheets that have to be manually merged.

Identifying which prospect accounts to priotize with outreach campaigns, and how much we should nuture each lead. We develoeped an entire process around MK to determine type of outreach campaign required.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

Madkudu allows more control over our data compared to other blackbox platforms.Our CS team is also incredibly supportive in making sure we're successful. I've saved a ton of time analyzing different models within MadKudu Springbok to gather insights on leads and accounts that matter to the organization.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

There are some bugs in the platform which take some time to resolve, but the support team is quick to respond at least. There is some learning curve in taking a deeper dive into each model and trying to make improvements, but the customer success team is very hands-on in helping you learn.

Lead prioritization and quick insights into pipeline patterns.

I like that I can see a snapshot of what is important to me. The way I can hop on salesforce and see what is most relevant and then take that straight to my messaging is awesome!

I wish the load times weren't as long. Sometimes, I get discouraged when I have to wait for a long time to see what I need to see in Salesforce. Other than that, all good!

MadKudu solves the problem of knowing how to attack different leads. Personalization is the name of the game for an SDR like me and MadKudu gives me the chance to personalize a lot!

I've seen a huge difference since using MK. I get insights on how often a person is using our product while also getting a better gage of potential gaps. I am more prepared for calls and as a result end up getting better results. I tripled my quota in July in part to the MK insights!

It takes a while to load activity usage, some accounts don't show top users

The info that I can access is widely different compared to other tools. Seamlessy integrates into our Salesforce which makes this way better than the other tools we have used in the past.

Can't log into the website, can only log in via Salesforce. Would like a homepage where I can see all the accounts on MadKudu that I can rank.

Finding accounts and prospects in a market that is struggling. Being able to collaborate with colleagues makes using this tool very helpful as we can construct plans on tackling the market.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

The scoring from the models completely changed how we were approaching the leads. We didn't have enough information in our database to score, so combining their model with our behavior analytics has saved us a lot of time. The visual aspect within Salesforce is really helpful for our sales team. They can see immediately what leads they should prioritize. They are also an absolute pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

The platform itself could use some simplification, but the majority of our workflows/use cases are outside of their platform anyway.

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a heavy inbound flow and needed to prioritize leads for sales pursuit. Applies their models saved us a ton of time gathering more data points and their data has been very reliable. The feedback from our reps is that there are more high-quality meetings being set up as a result.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

We have this unique “problem” where we have 50k+ new account signups per month. We rely on MK to surface only the top prospects to our sellers and place the rest in a self serve track. Their APIs are great and our scoring model has performed well with the majority of revenue coming from the top 20% of prospects. I also want to call out their support - our rep has been extremely responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

Not much, but would love to see their scoring model incorporate self learning.

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without MadKudu our Sales team would be overrun with over 50k new signups per month. Using insights from MK we can make sure only the best are surfaced to sellers and the rest are added to a self serve track. This saves are Sales team valuable time and ensures we aren't wasting cycles reaching out to prospects that aren't a good fit for us.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

I've tested 5 or more lea scoring platforms. Some a good, some are crap. Madkudu is great.
Why?
- Their predictions are top notch (aka >70% concentration of revenue within less than 20% of leads).
- Their are one of the few that are API first (and not just a clunky UI or salesforce only thing)
- They are very reactive with feature requests
- They are applying predictions to a broader use case than just lead scoring. 

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

I wish there was more behavioral data returned in the API


**Recommendations to others considering MadKudu:**

If you're thinking about it, you should absolutely engage with MadKudu. Their team is smart and knowledgeable, you will for sure benefit from exploring what their solution can do. Like any piece of software, it is important to champion MadKudu, have them come to your office for a lunch & learn to give your team exposure to them and a chance to ask questions. This has worked incredibly well at Segment & Drift.

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead scoring usually only applies to sales teams. I'm a Marketer, and I'm the main user of Madkudu.
With Madkudu not only do I solve typical lead scoring challenges (sales efficiency & prioritization of effort) but also marketing challenges:
- which channels to focus on
- the value of each lead, and recommendations on how to optimize my CAC/LTV

The product is great - easily implemented from a tech perspective. But what really sells MadKudu for me is the people I have dealt with. All of the team members at MK seem to be incredibly high performers and its very noticeable in the implementation of the product and the support you receive along the way. Shout out to HM for being a boss.

Perhaps more signals returned on the behavioural data side

With MadKudu we have been focusing on PQL's and how to score the huge volume of leads we get from our product. We've been able to increase conversion rates by prioritizing our outreach based on their scoring.
Moving forward, we will look to increase the efficiency of our demo funnel, optimize paid spend and run ABM programs at Marketing Qualified Accounts.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

I can create a predictive model out of any data that I have, and I can do it with a highly prescriptive customer success rep who will tell me what does and doesn't make sense to create. 

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

Predictive model means positive and negative score signals are harder to discern and convey to other teams, and greater education is required on the part of the user. Interfacing with the MadKudu team can sometimes be a little tricky because it's largely done through slack, rather than a ticketing or even email system.

Use your MadKudu rep as a resource for how to use the tool and develop models

MadKudu helps us understand how to intelligently promote and work our leads, identify what sources have the highest probability to generate revenue, and learn more about our ideal customer profile.

MadKudu has enabled us to prioritize a huge inbound funnel of free signups. This has allowed us to dramatically increase the performance of our business development function along with enabling marketing and growth teams to use a scoring architecture across our Martech. The possibilities of what can be achieved with this tool span far far beyond lead scoring! 

ps The MK Portal in which you connect your tools is awesome too :)

Nothing major to be honest - would be good if:

- Behavioral modeling happened faster 
- There were more signals 
- Models were more dynamic/ self learning

Think about what you can do past your initial use case,  when you have lead scoring available through an API you can do so much more than what you initially think.

At the moment we are focusing on PQL's and how to score the huge volume of leads we get from our product. 

Moving forward, we will look to increase the efficiency of our demo funnel, optimize paid spend and run ABM programs at Marketing Qualified Accounts.

Madkudu helps us minimize the number of fields we require on forms, which greatly increase our web visitor to lead conversion rates. We're also adopting their fastlane product, which will help us give qualified leads a high-touch experience on our website. 

In general, the team at MadKudu is always at the ready to help us succeed, even when we throw them complex business logic and processes.

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

There isn't too much of a web UI, but that's not the core of their product. I imagine they'll work on this over time-- but once you start using their products, you don't really need to log in to view/modify very often.

Madkudu takes a super hard concept to understand,  "what makes a good lead a good lead", and simplifies it down to make targeting your perfect customers super simple. We use Madkudu to help segment our conversations we have in Drift, to help with emails we send to our free users, and to help understand when our customers are ready to upgrade!

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

It's tough that there is no app or UI to see how things are happening behind the scenes. It makes it harder to actually optimize so you have to work with the team to make sure you're updating your model to change with your business.

Madkudu works in tandem with your team to make sure that you're getting the right information that works for your use case and gives you the insights you need to get the best use out of the tool that you nned.

Creating custom experiences for the people we WANT to talk to, and making sure we don't leave any leads behind. By using madkudu we can prioritize our top accounts, while also making sure we don't leave any leads behind even if they're not a great fit.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

-Predictive scoring that compiles Firmographics (company size, geo, revenue...) + Technographics (cms, saas usage...)+ Behavioral data (what actions your best customers are taking on your site...).
-Action bias: Madkudu offers campaigns to use on the top of the scoring, so you can put your scoring to work right away, customize your onboarding process, trigger different actions based on scores. 
-The API is easy to use and connect with other systems =  endless possibilities!
-Great team with a "Michelin Star" kind of customer experience!

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

I wish there was more behavioral data returned in the API, more signals surfaced all, the information is really relevant for lead intel. 

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- We are using Madkudu to score prospects, users and target accounts at scale. 
- We use the information to prioritize leads assigned to sales. 
- We also trigger custom marketing campaigns/flow in our marketing automation system based on the score.

**What do you like best about MadKudu?**

Madkudu helps you prioritize resources where they will have the highest impact. Not doing this is unacceptable. Creating the best product and customer experience for the people that matter is critical. We always want our go to market resources doing the highest impact work to high our goals. But we need to also mirror this in our product to create a holistic experience. To move to tighter sla’s across teams and capture more momentum with the product it is critical we focus resources efficiently to build pipeline. Madkudu helps us do this across both our product in realtime and downstream with our go to market team. The team is extremely smart and talented, helping you become best in class here very quickly. 

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

Models do not yet self learn or improve, as your data changes or your business changes. You need to step in and work with Madkudu to retrain the model. This is quick but would be good to self learn. Especially, given the strong feedback loops in data.

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The new model is able to identify the top 30% of leads that account for 70% of our conversions. The best leads convert 20x better. This replaced our current MQL Marketo based process and is having a huge impact on our pipeline. We are now much more confident that we are able to capture more of our conversions with less effort. Higher return on our time means more pipeline with less work.

There are some limitations to Madkudu's integrations, we don't have a easy way to add behavioral modeling with them due to the tools we are using.

The flexibility of the model to take into account a company's unique context. The signals and split between Likelihood to Buy and Customer Behaviors are really helpful. I am also impressed by the high predictive rate of grades A and B towards lead conversions. 

**What do you dislike about MadKudu?**

We have at times had to go out of our way to get explanations for certain observations and to really uncover the black box, whereas this should be information communicated upfront and proactively to the customer.

Madkudu might be easy to setup, but can take time depending on a company's internal technical and architectural requirements. Stay ahead of the curve by keeping this in mind and incorporating this into your adoption plan

**What problems is MadKudu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting sellers to have more targeted outreach - they are now able to prioritize only leads A & B. We are still yet to realize a wide benefit in revenue, as outreach and enablement to sellers is still ongoing.

MK automatically understands which leads will be a great fit our our sales teams, how likely they are to buy, and at what ACV. It's enabled us to prioritize a huge inbound lead volume for our sales team and close business much more efficiently.

No major complaints. Takes a bit of time to get the data flow running, but the team is very business-savvy and does a great job creating and iterating on models to get the job done right.

We use MadKudu as a pre-requisite definition of MQL & SQL, helping our sales & marketing teams stay aligned around which metrics matter most. We also measure ROI of top-of-funnel paid & organic acquisition based on the number of MadKudu-qualified leads (MadQLs) we generate.

Since everything's based on your data, you need to have enough relevant data. The model may need to be readapted to new situations, new markets.

MadKudu created a custom lead scoring model for our business and provided a mechanism that allows us to score leads on form fill in real time that has facilitated a dramatic increase in the value of each lead.

Our experience with MadKudu has been terrific and I don't have any "dislikes."
