It is fairly easy to organize materials, and rearrange them. It also makes grading simpler, and they've made some good improvements in the past two years that I've been using it. **What do you dislike about LoudCloud?** There was a bit of a learning curve to the system in terms of how to edit and rearrange content. My first time using it, it was also new for the entire college, so there weren't veteran users to be able to look to for tips. **What problems is LoudCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Delivering content and materials to online students. It streamlines the online teaching process, from materials to grading. ### 2. The tabs are easily understood and navigated, and the layout translates well across multiple content areas and courses. The interface is quick and makes pursuing an online degree efficient and realistic. **What do you dislike about LoudCloud?** LoudCloud lacks visual appeal. It is effective, but it is not inviting. The plain layout likely helps streamline its usefulness, but it does not generate excitement for the learner. Simple changes, even just adding more color, would increase my satisfaction. **Recommendations to others considering LoudCloud:** If you value efficiency, LoudCloud is for you. If you want visual appeal, pursue alternative e-learning software. **What problems is LoudCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** LoudCloud offers a convenient and user-friendly online learning environment. It's easy to connect with other students, interact with the professor, and navigate the syllabus. It enables me to obtain my masters degree while working full-time, and the flexibility of the online classroom is spectacular. ### 3. Improvements have been made (like having the due date and submission date / time easily viewed for each submission) that make it even easier. **What do you dislike about LoudCloud?** It's often difficult to easily find out what students see vs. what the instructor sees. I also have to manually go in and display student grades on the Progress tab for each class and I wish that was the default. On the student side, some students have continued difficulty uploading assignments (it's not a super common occurrence, but it's not rare) so there must be something not intuitive about that process. **What problems is LoudCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes delivery of materials, directions, and submission of assignments (by students) simple and unified in one platform. While there is definitely a learning curve (as there is with many platforms like this), it helps with efficiency. ### 4. The system is always slow, issues with students accessing material, delays submissions of assignments, automatically submit exams prior to completion, login usually results in SAML errors, only advice received is to clear cookies and browser history which still does not resolve issues, system freezes on a regular basis, submission time periods are up to 2 hours sometimes due to server, servers are too weak to handle traffic, issues saving items in course master drafts, propagation tool is a joke as instructors only allowed to accept certain items and from the administrator role still have to either manually change the material or use the repository, not mobile compatible, does not work well with Chromebook, unable to access certain areas as an administrator, and the list goes on and on. **Recommendations to others considering LoudCloud:** Not worth the headaches from a design and administration perspective.
