I use LoudCloud as a faculty member of a college in my online classroom. It is fairly easy to organize materials, and rearrange them. It also makes grading simpler, and they've made some good improvements in the past two years that I've been using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There was a bit of a learning curve to the system in terms of how to edit and rearrange content. My first time using it, it was also new for the entire college, so there weren't veteran users to be able to look to for tips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LoudCloud is easy to learn. The tabs are easily understood and navigated, and the layout translates well across multiple content areas and courses. The interface is quick and makes pursuing an online degree efficient and realistic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LoudCloud lacks visual appeal. It is effective, but it is not inviting. The plain layout likely helps streamline its usefulness, but it does not generate excitement for the learner. After getting the hang of the system, LoudCloud makes grading several assignments in a sitting quite simple. Improvements have been made (like having the due date and submission date / time easily viewed for each submission) that make it even easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's often difficult to easily find out what students see vs. what the instructor sees. I also have to manually go in and display student grades on the Progress tab for each class and I wish that was the default. On the student side, some students have continued difficulty uploading assignments (it's not a super common occurrence, but it's not rare) so there must be something not intuitive about that process. Does not allow for total creation of material within the system. The system is always slow, issues with students accessing material, delays submissions of assignments, automatically submit exams prior to completion, login usually results in SAML errors, only advice received is to clear cookies and browser history which still does not resolve issues, system freezes on a regular basis, submission time periods are up to 2 hours sometimes due to server, servers are too weak to handle traffic, issues saving items in course master drafts, propagation tool is a joke as instructors only allowed to accept certain items and from the administrator role still have to either manually change the material or use the repository, not mobile compatible, does not work well with Chromebook, unable to access certain areas as an administrator, and the list goes on and on.
