## Loach (OKR) Reviews
  ### 1. Essential tool to align strategy and execution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Levi W. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Loach (OKR)?**

As a startup, we have a million things to do. When we implemented OKRs, we still struggled to rally every team member behind them. As these things go, it was a list of objectives and priorities in a sheet, only to collect dust in the depths of our Google Drive. Loach has been a game changer for us: not only do we have a sweet overview.. team members actually own their own OKRs. The (weekly) check-in with the team tops that off with proper team alignment, making OKRs the driving force behind decisions on where we spend time and energy.

**What do you dislike about Loach (OKR)?**

Loach can get a bit crowded if you have a lot of OKRs and initiatives. There's still room for improvement in terms of the main dashboard.

**What problems is Loach (OKR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loach helps us translate strategy into objectives and initiatives, essentially bridging the gap between where we want to go and how we're going to get there, to what we're going to do and what the progress is.

  ### 2. A straightforward OKR tool that actually works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sverre v. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Loach (OKR)?**

We're a SaaS company and struggled with alignment as we were scaling our business.

Loach has completely transformed how our team approaches OKRs and goal-setting. The platform is intuitive, making it easy to set, track, and manage objectives across different departments. Loach allows us to see exactly where we are with our goals and address issues as they arise, rather than at the end of a quarter (or not at all...).

The visual dashboards are clean and informative. Using Loach has boosted accountability and collaboration within the company. Plus, Loach’s integration with tools like Slack and Jira means we can keep OKRs top of mind without disrupting our workflow.

The support team at Loach has been fantastic, providing quick responses and proactive tips to get the most out of the platform. Overall, I’d highly recommend Loach for any company looking to streamline and enhance their OKR process—it's a game-changer for teams looking to stay aligned and focused on their goals!"

**What do you dislike about Loach (OKR)?**

You need the whole team aligned in order to successfully implement and 'breathe' OKRs. However I consider this a broader challenge, not Loach-specific.

**What problems is Loach (OKR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aligment within the team as we scale, helping us to actually achieve the goals we set.

  ### 3. OKR and Goal setting made easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandhna C. | Co-Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Loach (OKR)?**

Loach is very easy to use and to implement into the tool into our team. We now finally can actively follow the progress of the key results and the initiaves to help us eachive our quartarly goals

**What do you dislike about Loach (OKR)?**

There is nothing i dislike neccesarily, it would be great of you could also recieve updates on the progress of the team rather than having to log in each day

**What problems is Loach (OKR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we used loach, we used confluence pages to log our goals. Using loach forces you to work on a daily/weekly basis on your goals next to all other responsibilties so you don't loose sight of them

  ### 4. Clear, focused productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron S. | Sales Development Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Loach (OKR)?**

It is super simple to use. Helps staying clear about goals and what needs to be done to reach them. Also nice to see where we are going as a company right now, just with some clicks

**What do you dislike about Loach (OKR)?**

Since I am focused on the practical side, I don't dislike anything in particular

**What problems is Loach (OKR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves having no goals, loosing focus on goals, having no actions set towards goals and loosing focus on these actions. I benefit from that through staying focused on what is key and to manage between short and long term

  ### 5. Helpful tool to work on OKRs in a structured way!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franziska D. | Partner Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Loach (OKR)?**

- Easy implementation, you can directly start using it
- Good overview of your objectives, key results and initiatives including the current percentage of reaching the goals
- The personal dashboard provides a good overview of personal progress and to do's

**What do you dislike about Loach (OKR)?**

- It would be great if colleagues could be tagged in initiatives and would receive a notification

**What problems is Loach (OKR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Supports a common goal among all teams and colleagues
- Supports in staying focused reaching the OKRs set

  ### 6. Is easy to use and setup. No frills, just a terrific point solution for running OKR's in our startup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martijn M. | Chief Product & Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Loach (OKR)?**

easy to use
easy to setup
Freemium! and paid plan has low pricepoint, works well since we are a startup

**What do you dislike about Loach (OKR)?**

The UX is pretty good, however, design of the checkin screen could be a little better, sometimes i click a key result but i meant to click an objective. Just some minor thing, hope they polish this soon

**What problems is Loach (OKR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) getting rid of the spreadsheet that are floating around and never work well because everybody loses them, make typos and dont update anything
2) saves me a bunch of time with chasing people for updates and tracking their actions. Loach sends automatic checkin reminders and checkin leaderboard, I know exactly who's slacking and who is not

  ### 7. Great tool to work towards goals together!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lioba V. | Customer Success Manger, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Loach (OKR)?**

It's a way to keep track of your goals. It keeps the team informed about what's going on. We review our goals (and other highlights) every week together, and this is also the moment where helpful discussions as well as ideas arise to progress further.

**What do you dislike about Loach (OKR)?**

Could be nice to have your initiatives in the main overview as well, as these can be just as important as key results for (prioritising) work.

**What problems is Loach (OKR) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to keep an overview of goals and thus prioritise, considering upcoming tasks in relation to your goals
