First and foremost, it's easy to use. The interface is quite user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through different features. Additionally, it's very educational, with helpful guides and tips throughout the platform. One of the biggest advantages is that it allows you to keep your lease records up to date, providing excellent control and oversight of leases. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** However, there are some areas that need improvement. The biggest issue is the program's speed. LeaseAccelerator is very slow; every change you want to make takes a long time to process, even for simple tasks. The layout lets you easily see the most relevant and important information that impacts accounting, operations, and forecasting (ex. start and end date, booking date, payment schedule, term, status, and category of lease)The abundance of reporting options is also a plus. The import templates for uploading and modifying ideals are very useful tools. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** I wish there was a community forum where questions could be posted and other users and LAS staff could post their responses. Customer support could be greatly improved; because responses are mostly through email, the benefits of a verbal discussion about resolution to the probelm is often not achieved. The timezone difference impacts response times. Having a number to call and talk to someone directly or even a live chat feature would be nice. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lease accelerator helps ensure the correct accounting is in place for a large volumes of leases which can have many factors impact and complicate their accounting. The support team is able to respond promptly and provide solutions any time of the day. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** The reports take a while to generate and the file size is big for me to forward in email if need be to the support team, etc. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** LeaseAccelerator is able to calculate and generate line by line the journal entries required according to the Standards. Especially when we have quite a number of leases to calculate, leaseaccelator is able to calculate and provide entries promptly at month end and any reporting periods. Nice that you can run an export to your ledger and have all entries done for you. Nice to be able to see all lease information in one place and others can have unquiry access to look up lease information. Customer support is responsive and has answered any questions or help solve any issues. The Ask Alex feature is convenient for looking up information and watching videos on how to enter items. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** There have been times when a release changed something on an existing lease and created extra work to correct. Occassionally run into issues with renewals not working the way I htink they should but sometimes that's a matter of the timing of our renewals. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lease Accelerator solved the problem of how to implement 842 - calculates the ROU asset, liabilities and amortized expenses for you. Also enable us to keep track of which leases have security deposits. It's a great starting point to get answers to my own questions prior to having to ask my collegues. I also completed the Center of Excellence training, which was so helpful to get in depth training and walkthroughs on various processes. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** I am in the External Reporting role, so my duties within Lease Accelerator are primarily around assisting our team throughout the globe with questions, and obtaining reports for audit and external reporting purposes. I do find that when I'm trying to get populations of leases or other reports, they take a very long time to generate in Lease Accelerator and sometimes the website times out before the generation is complete, and then I need to start over again. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the Company as a whole, it has been a benefit to have one place where all leases live. Seems like they can ask for too much information and just gets overwhelming for the user. Build Your Own Reports seems like a great feature, but is very frustrating to use and doesn't seem to work very well. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing both US GAAP and IFRS lease accounting for 150+ leases across several countries. There are a few reports that we have not found solutions for. The rollforward report is not user friendly and often one that our auditors would like. The CSM is always available. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** The complexity of the system. Not very user friendly. I think the support is good, our CSM maybe doesn't have the technical expertise, but is always willing to help and find the answer. Our CSM is always available. The system is just not very user friendly. We find that entering and managing deals is a hurdle rather than a preference, in terms of whether we should enter small/all deals or not. I find myself answering more how to use this system questions, rather than on the leases themselves. I would like to suggest less ways to perform a task - for instance adjusting the payment on a deal. There are many ways to do it, and most don't post all the way through the deal because there are different steps for different adjustment methods/type of deals. I haven't run into any issues that are not fixable. I really love a one stop shop for all of my leasing inquiries. After a certain level of comfort I feel very efficient in Lease Accelerator and really don't have any issues navigating the tool. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** There is not much I dislike about Lease Accelerator. My only critique would be that it would be nicer if more information was required. Ie. Having supporting documents be required for each agreement. As someone who took over the tool after the person implemented it, I sometimes struggle with how they came to the conclusion of some classifications. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** While our company does not have an exceptionally large lease population compared to other companies (hovering around 250) - our accounting department is especially small, with only 3 of us existing at the corporate level. This tool helps us streamline our process, and if I were to die tomorrow someone from the company would be able to access the tool and realistically pick it up. The downside is that, there is no training aides and places to find out issues. You can not click ok or save because the Alex button is at the bottom. You have to minimize the screen and then click ok. Changing basic functions such as cost centres or the lease name requires an excel upload rather than being able to do it through the interface. **Recommendations to others considering LeaseAccelerator:** Take a bit of time to watch the videos and read the resources to allow the interface to be easier to navigate. Having a bit of a play around in the system helps immensely to understand the complicated leasing standards. If there is still a bit of trouble in the software, the LeaseAccelerator team offer a load of support so don't be afraid to use it. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** LeaseAccelerator has given me a greater understanding of our IRFS 16 works by having helpful guides to explain why certain journals occur. Also reporting feature is not working entirely fine - we find it impossible to retrieve historical data with "as at" option. The support from the support team is not always at the level we would expect - sometimes, we need to repeat what the problem is about, or the solution provided is not accurate. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** We keep the record of all qualifying CRE lease agreements.
