It's helpful in the tracking of events that happened to a lease in the life cycle and has a clear clue for audit purposes. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** the system is not intelligent enough to record complicated cases and perform accounting correctly. It does not contain or accept the various status and events that may happen to a lease in its lifecycle. Another dislike is the unknown issues that always occur without any predictability whenever the system release . It's hard for users to check the accounting accuracy and make manual adjustments when the data is enormous. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking leasing data and accounting reconciliation to make sure the business is recorded properly. Dashboards are also pretty useful and the local Australian support team (for implementation and on-going customer management) is great! **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** User interface isn't very intuitive especially when making changes via the GUI itself. As a US-based company, most release update sessions are held based on US Eastern Time, which is not great for Australian customers as there are no local sessions. Technical team is based in the US so any technical issues will also be dealt with based on US times. Most of our initial issues were solved in time by various updates in the system. LeaseAccelerator continues resolve one-off accounting issues resulting from rare scenarios through quarterly patch releases, but they have been able to do so this year with little to no adverse repercussions to our portfolio. The ability to "test" a new release in a BETA/Preview environment has helped ensure smooth releases. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** The new software releases pose the greatest challenges to us, most recently from a modification standpoint. Some of the functionalities and the rules enabling/disabling those functionalities changed to our surprise which required us to work with the Support team in order to resolve the issues we were experiencing. Take the time to compare the different providers, pricing, and reporting features to decide what works best for your company. **What problems is LeaseAccelerator solving and how is that benefiting you?** For us, the biggest motivator to go with Lease Accelerator was the adoption of ASC842. Having to disclose leases on the face of the balance sheet was certainly a challenge for us to identify all the global leases and get them booked to the system properly, and ensure we were properly disclosing our global portfolio of lease assets and liabilities. Once we got through implementation, we realized there are many potential benefits for us to be able to identify contracts nearing end of term and negotiate cost savings in our renewals. We are still working to actualize a lot of the potential benefits due to internal resource constraints, however I am confident we will be able to take full advantage of the system within the year. ### 33. Technical Support also generally addresses issues very quickly and efficiently. It is very easy to create support case tickets and to follow the status of the ticket. I like having access to a database of training video I can watch and review as needed, the videos are easy to follow and understand. The live Velocity sessions are also very helpful to learn the system and to be able to ask questions in real time; the trainers/SMEs are very knowledgeable. The system isn't perfect as we occasionally run into issues (ie. a functionality that isn't available, a journal entry not generating correctly, etc) but the company is continually improving with frequent version updates and generally has upcoming fixes in the pipeline before we identify an issue. They will also proactively reach out to let us know of updates that cause accounting adjustments and specifically which leases in our portfolio could potentially be impacted so that we can monitor the month end journal entry export. **What do you dislike about LeaseAccelerator?** Technical difficulties occur somewhat frequently when trying to run system reports, which are sometimes remediated by switching browsers or clearing cache, but often require follow up with customer service and/or technical support. Also the journal entries generated from the system seem a bit complicated and difficult to understand a first. We need to be able to understand the tested "Gold Standard" leases and tie them to our lease portfolio.
