## Komodor Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Onboarding and Time-Saving for Kubernetes Monitoring & Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuval R. | DevOps Engineer | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Komodor has been a game-changer for our team. It significantly accelerates the RCA process for Kubernetes-related issues and even helps us troubleshoot our own applications. Adoption was quick, and the value became clear almost immediately.
Their AI agent, Klaudia, now supports uploaded context, allowing it to better understand your product and environment—an impressive feature that enhances troubleshooting efficiency.
On top of that, their support during onboarding and day-2 operations is truly top-class. The experience has been smooth, and the team is always responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Komodor’s cost optimization capabilities are adaptable and precise. With the right configuration and enough time, it can deliver meaningful savings—even for complex applications and environments.
That said, I’d love to see deeper integration with multiple cloud providers to better handle edge cases like Reserved Instances or AWS Fargate. This would make cost estimation even more accurate and comprehensive.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RCA assistance for Devops and developers
Cost overview and optimization paths
Versioning of deployed charts and comparison
Better RBAC control than via AWS EKS IAM.
K8s clusters inventory

  ### 2. DAP experience with Komondor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nati S. | Dell Technologies Fellow , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

We selected Komodor to support the launch of the Dell Automation Platform (DAP) SaaS control plane, using it as a mission control for managing customers’ private cloud, edge, and AI infrastructure. Unlike traditional APM tools, Komodor is purpose-built for Kubernetes management, making it highly intuitive and delivering deep insights with minimal overhead. Their support team has also been responsive and helpful throughout our implementation.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

There are areas in their UI such as the cost reports, that could be more intuitive

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor has become the Dell Automation Platform’s first line of defense for Kubernetes troubleshooting and reliability engineering, as demonstrated by strong developer adoption and growing preference over traditional APM solutions. Its intuitive, AI-powered UI simplifies workflows and provides guided insights, enabling us to significantly reduce MTTR and minimize escalations to the SRE team. This allowed us to maintain high service quality and end-user support without increasing headcount.

  ### 3. Good Kubernetes Troubleshooting and Visibility Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank A. | Senior Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

What I really like about Komodor is how it removes the mystery from Kubernetes. Instead of jumping between logs, dashboards, and alerts, I get a clean timeline that shows me what changed and when. It’s easy to use, even for folks who aren’t Kubernetes experts, and it has genuinely saved me a lot of time when troubleshooting. The setup was straightforward, and their support team was super helpful whenever I had a question. It also makes onboarding new teammates smoother, since they don’t need to know every Kubernetes detail to start being productive.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Sometimes the interface can feel a little crowded — there’s so much useful information, but it takes a bit of practice to know where to look first. I also wish there were more plug-and-play integrations with some of the tools we use on a daily basis. And while it’s definitely worth the value, I think smaller teams might find the pricing a little steep.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor helps us cut through the noise when something goes wrong in Kubernetes. Instead of wasting time piecing together logs, configs, and deployment histories from different places, I get a single view of what changed and how it might be connected to the issue. This saves a lot of back-and-forth during incidents and shortens our recovery time. It also helps newer team members understand what’s happening in the cluster without needing years of Kubernetes experience. Overall, it gives my team and me confidence that we can spot and resolve issues faster, which means less downtime and less frustration.

  ### 4. Making managing production deployments easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Principal Engineer II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

The ability to quickly find problems amongst hundreds or thousands of running containers. The AI-assisted troubleshooting tool is very useful, and can quickly scan logs and find the root cause of problems.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Searching for a service amongst lots of similarly named services is not as easy as I would like. If I have a lot of copies of the same service in different environments, then sometimes the search doesn't immediately bring back exactly what I want, especially if I'm not sure of the exact name of the k8s namespace or environment where the service lives.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring to confirm everything is working after an upgrade is easy, as is identifying problems if something goes wrong.

  ### 5. Great tool to manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes with top notch AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

The most valuable feature for us is the ability to view logs, events, deployments, and most Kubernetes resources from multiple clusters all in a single location. This centralized perspective, combined with AI that analyzes issues, reviews logs and events, identifies root causes, and suggests solutions, has saved us a significant amount of time. Our developers who aren't familiar with Kubernetes especially appreciate being able to restart deployments directly from the UI rather than relying on the CLI. Overall, it's extremely helpful for both admins and developers who may not be Kubernetes experts.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Since they offer a SaaS product, on-premises installation is not an option. While this setup is less than ideal from a security standpoint, I do appreciate that they provide strong RBAC controls for managing user permissions.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor has effectively addressed our visibility challenges within our clusters. With its primary dashboard, we can quickly identify any issues as they arise. The platform also provides notifications, alerting us to problems in real time. When an issue occurs, we have the ability to drill down for detailed information, allowing us to pinpoint the exact nature of the problem—whether it’s related to the cluster itself, a deployment, a pod, or another component. Having all this information centralized saves us a significant amount of time, as we no longer need to rely on the CLI to check events, review logs, or execute commands within pods. Another key advantage of Komodor is that it empowers administrators who are not Kubernetes experts to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot clusters without needing deep expertise. Additionally, it enables developers to debug their own applications independently, reducing the need for support.

  ### 6. Komodor is great for leaner k8s teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago B. | Director of Software Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Komodor serves as an excellent single pane of glass for Kubernetes. In our large environment, which includes over 1,000 nodes and 20,000 pods, it has significantly reduced the time needed to find root causes. My team has become more productive and can proactively address issues before they turn into incidents, thanks to Komodor.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

I was initially critical of their Cost Optimization features, but fortunately, they have made improvements. Now, I am able to get real value from them.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor has significantly helped us address incidents more efficiently. With their AI analysis tools, our mean time to resolution (MTTR) has dropped from several hours to just a few minutes.

  ### 7. Komodor: An Effective Solution with AI, but at a High Cost

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo B. | Support Developer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Komodor effectively assists in the troubleshooting in POD executions, and provides significant help with its integrated AI.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

This is a great tool, though its costs are higher than those of other options available on the market.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor is a valuable tool for efficiently addressing problems when incidents occur or when troubleshooting issues arise on the platform where I work. It has made the process of resolving such challenges much more manageable.

  ### 8. Enhanced Kubernetes management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasiya S. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Komodor helps me to manage Kubernetes clusters. It has a very clear history of deployment changes (what and when was changed). Platform has an integration with different tools: e.g, Slack and Datadog, which helps to monitor issues very rapidly. My favourite feature is "helm rollback", because it helps me to save a lot of time during outages.
Also, I like that support team is responsive and resolves all issues very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Komodor is a good platform. However, it may be complex for new users who had never worked with Kubernetes before.
The interface looks overflown with a lot of information. Additionally, I would prefer to see more customized alerts and notifications to adjust with my team's needs. Finally, the price is a bit high for small teams and startup companies.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor helps to manage Kubernetes well by automating some actions and providing one-click rollbacks. It saves a lof of my time, as I don't need to guess anymore what caused failures, because Komodor provides a detailed events' chronology. The platform also reduces alert overload by focusing on problems that can be solved.

  ### 9. Komodor Gives Valuable Insight into our Clusters

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Having a UI to explore kubernetes resources is nice. It has also been helpful in troubleshooting. Moreover, it gives some of our developers the ownership to triage their own issues without needing to rope in SRE.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Sometimes it lacks detail that is available in kubectl.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Container management and cost savings have been huge. Also being able to see some basic metrics at a glance is nice. The AI as also helped us solve a few issues.

  ### 10. Great product

Komodor streamlines Kubernetes operations by providing real-time visibility, automated troubleshooting, and comprehensive change tracking. It offers actionable optimization recommendations, integrates with popular DevOps tools, supports team collaboration, and delivers proactive alerts—helping teams quickly resolve issues and keep clusters running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Learning Curve for New Users - While Komodor aims for usability, teams unfamiliar with Kubernetes concepts or DevOps workflows may face a learning curve in fully leveraging the platform’s features.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor solves the problem of troubleshooting and managing Kubernetes incidents by providing real-time visibility, automated root cause analysis, and change tracking. This reduces downtime, speeds up incident resolution, and makes Kubernetes operations more efficient and reliable.

  ### 11. Komdoor review as a Kubernetes admin

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

User-friendly interface.
Users with little knowledge had an easy way of querying Kubernetes object in a graphical interface.
Basic metrics are easy to query.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

When it comes to visualizing Kubernetes object a lot of similar functionality is also offered by free tools such as Headlamp and OpenLens.
For monitoring information we would still require our Prometheus / Grafana stack for our specific dashboarding / historical queries. We would prefer means of providing a single pane of glass.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of non-technical user that need to query information inside the Kubernetes cluster.
Komodor provided an intuitive way to do that.

  ### 12. Must have for kubernetes troubleshooting

User experience, everything is very clear about what is where, there are colors that indicate the problem and can be easily identified. Correct identification of alerts in real time, easy finding of logs and identification of faults in real time.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

As far as I know, the cost is high. I think that in the AI era, more conclusions can be given about malfunctions in real time.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fault detection. Understanding the system status in real time.

  ### 15. Best tool for Kubernetes resource visualization, management, monitoring and incident reporting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

One of the best tool for GUI experience for Kubernetes resource. Not only monitoring and resource managment, it does facilitate deployment of resources using GUI which is the best one. Along with this it does help in analysing issue if something goes unexpected via AI anlysis which keeps on evolving. The team memebers, TAM etcs are very proactivive too in discussing and taking the customer requirement and making those features available asap. I truly recommend this tool for the people woking in Kubenetes. Just do a komodor helm deployment which is very matured helm and start interacting with kubernetes component via Komodor GUI. It does help in various ways i.e. recent one is cascading failure which helps to analyze RCA for multiple service failure. Along with this it does update about the version of eks/kubenetes being used and what should be the appropriate one. This way it helps the devops/devsecops etc to keep updated with the latest version as well respective plugins. Along with this it does help in cost analysis which is still evolving and features are getting added on. And the best part is we are using it very frequemt and highly dependent on it. From implementation perspective its very easy to implement and integrate with the system.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

AS of now I say no dislikes. Its a new tool. Keep on evoling as fast pace. Teams/TAM are very proactives in taking requirement and making it avialable asap. Few of the FRs still waiting and hoping to soon get it align with komodor like priorityclass editable mode, istio related network mesh with more visibility etc.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do use mostly EKS in multiple AWS accounts and in multi grid as well. And its benefitting us everywhere. Its having a very vast and enriched GUI with multiple features of kubenertes which helps to monitor, resource managment, security, deployment, finding RCA etc at one go. Whenever application starts behaving weried we first used to go Komodor to see the status of agents, then services and if its failing then we do utilize the RCA AI feature. So I would say its benefitting us in multiple perspective whenever it comes toworking with kubernetes.

  ### 16. Great tool for management at scale, troubleshooting and cost control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

It's easy to implement and use, so we started getting value for our money quite quickly. Also, it helps us (enables us) to tick all the compliance boxes we are demanded

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

As we believe it's normal in a fast growing service, every now and then we find a bug, that is fixed promptly and usually doesn't impact the service we get

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a single point of management for all our Kubernets clusters, which we use for ease of BAU management but also enables us to accelerate the troubleshooting of incidents. Also, through its integration with our IDP we can manage a safe and compliant privilege access to our infrastructure. Finally, having relevant information within reach and easy to read helps us run an effective cost management practice.

  ### 17. Makes Kubernetes Troubleshooting So Much Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chen N. | Co-Founder | Building in Stealth Mode, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Komodor takes the headache out of Kubernetes troubleshooting. The UI is super intuitive, and it gives a clear view of what’s happening.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Honestly, not much. If anything, it would be great to see even more integrations over time. But overall, it does exactly what it promises, and it does it really well

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor makes it much easier to track down issues in Kubernetes. Instead of digging through logs or guessing what went wrong, I get clear insights and actionable suggestions. This saves a lot of time

  ### 18. Smooth Setup, Effective Monitoring UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David O.

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

I appreciate Komodor's easy setup process and its user-friendly interface, which simplifies monitoring services in my Kubernetes clusters. The GUI is helpful, making it straightforward to browse and monitor deployments and resources at a glance. I also value the ability to open a shell in any running Kubernetes pod without relying on the CLI, streamlining the process further. Komodor's features make retrieving metrics and monitoring status efficient and manageable, contributing greatly to my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

I find that Komodor could be a bit snappier in its performance. Additionally, it lacks the functionality to persist logs for pods that have already been deleted for a certain amount of time.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor allows me to easily monitor and retrieve metrics for Kubernetes deployments, offering a UI to view services and resources, which enhances flexibility over just using the Kubernetes API.

  ### 19. Reliable Monitoring That Makes Kubernetes Easier, With Room to Grow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

What I like best about Komodor is its stability and the accuracy of the information it provides about running services. It gives me confidence that what I’m seeing reflects the real state of our system. The intuitive UI also makes it easier to monitor services without getting lost in unnecessary details, which really helps my team stay efficient.
Implementation was straightforward, and while it took some time for the team to get comfortable with all the features, once learned, it became an important part of our daily workflow—we now use it frequently to ensure service stability.
Customer support has been responsive whenever we reached out, which makes the adoption process smoother. The platform offers a wide range of features, and the stability combined with accurate service information is its strongest advantage. Integration with our existing setup was fairly simple, and it fit into our toolchain without much friction.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

What I dislike about Komodor is that while the UI is intuitive, it can feel a bit cluttered and could be simplified for faster navigation. Debugging is also challenging at times, as it takes effort to drill down into issues quickly. Additionally, it would be very helpful to have more customizable dashboards and better personalization options tailored to each team’s needs.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor helps solve the challenge of monitoring and understanding what’s happening across our Kubernetes services. It gives clear visibility into the health and status of running services, which reduces guesswork and helps my team respond faster to issues. By providing accurate and stable information in real time, it allows us to maintain service reliability and minimize downtime, ultimately saving both time and effort in managing complex environments.

  ### 20. Komodor as an insightful Kubernetes tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avishai F. | Principal Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Komodor is very open to listening for the customer needs. We are mostly a software development oriented users and komodor adjusted the product to be easier and usable for us.
We use it on a daily if not hourly basis and it's very responsive for assistance.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

While it did go thorough a lot of adjustments to be more suitable for us, it's still very techincaly devOps oriented, so it requires some deep knowledge in kubernetes to implement & integrate.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Node availability, pod rotation and crashes investigation.

  ### 21. Disappointed with Komodor’s Greedy Decision to Scrap Freemium!

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eran B. | Founder of MailPass, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Komodor is an outstanding service for monitoring K8s clusters. It’s feature-rich, intuitive, and provides everything needed to keep clusters in check. I really liked how easy it was to get started and the depth of insights it offered. This platform was perfect—until recently.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

I’m deeply disappointed by their recent decision to cancel the freemium plan. They’ve blindsided loyal users by suddenly sunsetting the free tier and pushing us to a paid plan at an outrageous price of $15K per year! This feels like a greedy move, disregarding the needs of smaller teams and individual developers who relied on their free offering. Instead of valuing long-term user loyalty, they seem more focused on squeezing out every dollar. Very frustrating and disappointing!

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Komodor excels at simplifying the complex task of monitoring Kubernetes clusters. It provides clear, actionable insights that help quickly identify and resolve issues, reducing downtime and improving overall cluster performance. The platform's real-time monitoring and alerting have been invaluable for maintaining the health and efficiency of our Kubernetes environment, allowing us to focus on development rather than firefighting infrastructure problems. This has saved us both time and resources, making our operations smoother and more reliable—until they decided to force us into a prohibitively expensive paid plan.

  ### 22. Powerfull tool to check resurces

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Komodor?**

Easy to lookup something. I started using this tool to check namespaces values and is very easy to learn it and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

Lookup and fill, probably the order from workflows and workloads is very confused at least for me when I need to check the resources.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Check the right version deployed from our workloads, getting us easy view.

  ### 23. Great solution

Komodor ermöglicht es Ihnen, alle Ihre Kubernetes-Cluster über eine sehr gut gestaltete Benutzeroberfläche zu sehen und zu interagieren.

**What do you dislike about Komodor?**

AI-based insights in Komodor are very often not relevant and create unnecessary noise.

**What problems is Komodor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Komodor to monitor and manage Kubernetes clusters for all of our environments, including development, staging, and production. The Komodor dashboard is the single place to go if any issue arises and needs to be investigated. The platform enables us to reduce the time required to perform any type of action on our Kubernetes clusters.
