Komodor is an outstanding service for monitoring K8s clusters. It’s feature-rich, intuitive, and provides everything needed to keep clusters in check. I really liked how easy it was to get started and the depth of insights it offered. This platform was perfect—until recently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Komodor? I’m deeply disappointed by their recent decision to cancel the freemium plan. They’ve blindsided loyal users by suddenly sunsetting the free tier and pushing us to a paid plan at an outrageous price of $15K per year! This feels like a greedy move, disregarding the needs of smaller teams and individual developers who relied on their free offering. Instead of valuing long-term user loyalty, they seem more focused on squeezing out every dollar. Very frustrating and disappointing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. It provides clear, actionable insights that help quickly identify and resolve issues, reducing downtime and improving overall cluster performance. The platform's real-time monitoring and alerting have been invaluable for maintaining the health and efficiency of our Kubernetes environment, allowing us to focus on development rather than firefighting infrastructure problems. This has saved us both time and resources, making our operations smoother and more reliable—until they decided to force us into a prohibitively expensive paid plan.
