I love the look and functionality of the platform as well as the level and quality of support you provide to us, our great partners. I have had an opportunity to work on other LMSes so far and apart from 2-3 areas for improvement, I'm finding Intrepid one of the most user-friendly ones I've seen so far. I also appreciate the relationship we have with Cindy, Nick, JR and Nishali in which I can reach out directly to them never feeling left alone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) current limitations in the reporting space that a) impact the completion tracking effectiveness - in case of complex programs, it's hard to track down and share with our leaders who struggles with what module(s) or in a more general context what is the weakest link of our program where our learners stumble the most and detect the reason for it (I hope that AI feature will be able to provide such analysis in a blink of an eye); b) general cross-program dashboard - I'd love to see it providing us with strong data that proves the value of using Intrepid to my leaders - e.g. showing the top classes with completion rates; time to productivity; measure learner satisfaction as well as their speed to productivity within the platform, top searches, top questions/issues our learners experience, etc.

2) current limitations in the content search and recommendation - there is a lot of hope I'm putting into AI feature in these areas as right now I find it hard to find some of the content or design some career development experiences that would provide our learners with a set of recommended training that are on the platform based on their needs; previous searches or results their their self-assessment. I also hope for some career development supporting features like benchmark skill - learning mapping that would support our employees with their career/role development

3) current limitations in the content format - though you offer many format, I'd like to see the choice broadening and aligning with learner's needs; recently we started developing virtual escape room-like activities and we realized the choice of quiz types is limited to a multiple choice or yes/no options while it would be great to have matching; fill-in the blank; put it in the right order and others available as well; other new content and channel format options could be adjusted to social media ones allowing developing content mimicking it to certain extent; also the ability to change the format in the already developed tile would be extremely helpful and would save time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Intrepid by VitalSource to be a strong platform for cohort-based, applied learning. It excels at creating structured, multi-week learning journeys that seamlessly blend content, discussions, assignments, and facilitator engagement. I really appreciate the clean and intuitive learner experience, which supports accountability and social learning much better than traditional LMS. Where it falls short is in customization, advanced analytics and flexible content authoring. Reporting is solid but not deep. Organizations wanting a highly branded or adaptive experience might feel limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They offer webinars and multiple training opportunities. They also offer demo opportunities to see the platforms capabilities. The platform doesn't have any mobile applications which can be tough for users of all kinds. No free trial or demo trials. Administration capabilities are pretty limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Intrepid is an intuitive, user-friendly platform that makes it easy to create content in a highly engaging, learner-centric way. Its aesthetically pleasing and customizable so you can really create the flow of content in a way that learners appreciate. I love that you can add a blend of video, audio, text, context, activities, etc. and address not only multiple learning preferences, but also all of Bloom's taxonomy from quizzes to peer reviewed projects. While it tries to be social, there are some issues with sending out notifications when people post comments, discussion topics, etc. People expect it to be more like Facebook or other social platforms they use. So discussion forums are always the lowest rated factor in the platform because people don't get as much out of these features as they'd like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The learner experience is second to none. As a developer I can create great content quickly and it is immediately available to my learners if I choose. It can also be updated on the fly using just a tablet. The chunking down of learning “modules” allows greater flexibility both in building content and consuming it as a learner. A lack of integration with SCORM based learning modules (it doesn’t behave like an LMS) that would allow us to asses skills (completion data isn’t pulled through from the SCORM module). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their platform is filled with useful tools to make an eLearning program very interactive. It has great features, polls, video, discussion, quizzes, gamification, leaderboard. It is highly customizable and has a very friendly user interface. Participants love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The backend of some features is clunky. Quizzes for example. There are some other quirks in how you have to put some things together. The project and review was so complicated, we had to scrap it and do it another way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the simple and sophisticated interface and ability to deliver quality content in an environment that replicates and in some instances, surpasses what you can achieve with traditional ILT. The platform has allowed us to rollout Prepare and Embed content digitally, maximising the ROI on time spent together in a physical location. We have achieved scale that was previously unimaginable, and delivered global programs in timeframes that are simply amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reporting capability is limited. I hope the future roadmap supports enhancements in dash boarding etc. I'd also love Intrepid to form alliances with other best in class applications to support an optimum learning ecosystem- IE: Examination/Assessment platform, Reporting and analytics engine, pure content aggregation that enables manager self-serve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
