They offer webinars and multiple training opportunities. They also offer demo opportunities to see the platforms capabilities. What do you like best about Intrepid by VitalSource?

Trying to increase social interaction on the platform like this can be challenging... I would like to see how Intrepid by VitalSource can push the boundaries on this area further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intrepid by VitalSource solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem that Intrepid is solving is getting out training to incredibly large amount of people with considerable savings. Hosting trainings in-person to thousands of people is costly. What do you like best about Intrepid by VitalSource?

Intrepid is an intuitive, user-friendly platform that makes it easy to create content in a highly engaging, learner-centric way. Its aesthetically pleasing and customizable so you can really create the flow of content in a way that learners appreciate. I love that you can add a blend of video, audio, text, context, activities, etc. and address not only multiple learning preferences, but also all of Bloom's taxonomy from quizzes to peer reviewed projects. What do you dislike about Intrepid by VitalSource?

While it tries to be social, there are some issues with sending out notifications when people post comments, discussion topics, etc. People expect it to be more like Facebook or other social platforms they use. So discussion forums are always the lowest rated factor in the platform because people don't get as much out of these features as they'd like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intrepid by VitalSource solving and how is that benefiting you?

Problems: We're solving how to do engaging training asynchronously with the benefit of workshop-like features. So people can take training on their own time, but still can have social interaction and ask questions as needed.

What do you like best about Intrepid by VitalSource?

The learner experience is second to none. As a developer I can create great content quickly and it is immediately available to my learners if I choose. It can also be updated on the fly using just a tablet. The chunking down of learning “modules” allows greater flexibility both in building content and consuming it as a learner. What do you dislike about Intrepid by VitalSource?

A lack of integration with SCORM based learning modules (it doesn’t behave like an LMS) that would allow us to asses skills (completion data isn’t pulled through from the SCORM module). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intrepid by VitalSource solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our environment changes rapidly and the biggest problem we face is keeping online content up to date. Classroom training is rarely used these days and we rely on our employees to self serve learning with some guidance. It’s essential for the learning content to be correct and up to date. What do you like best about Intrepid by VitalSource?

Their platform is filled with useful tools to make an eLearning program very interactive. It has great features, polls, video, discussion, quizzes, gamification, leaderboard. - openness of the team to receive feedback and act on it

- the support team work hard to maintain a high level service, especially during crisis time

- to slow in developping new products

- not really mobile friendly, the reactive design doesn't work well

- Would be good to have a superuser group to help in the design of new functionalities and to test them

- need of a better API integration

- lack of giid/effective interaction between participants/moderators

What do you like best about Intrepid by VitalSource?

I love the simple and sophisticated interface and ability to deliver quality content in an environment that replicates and in some instances, surpasses what you can achieve with traditional ILT. The platform has allowed us to rollout Prepare and Embed content digitally, maximising the ROI on time spent together in a physical location. What do you dislike about Intrepid by VitalSource?

Reporting capability is limited. I hope the future roadmap supports enhancements in dash boarding etc. I'd also love Intrepid to form alliances with other best in class applications to support an optimum learning ecosystem- IE: Examination/Assessment platform, Reporting and analytics engine, pure content aggregation that enables manager self-serve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intrepid by VitalSource?

Intrepid is perfect for modern, compact and time-efficient learning experience. It delivers what learners need and expect, a no-fuss learning on the go, tailored to available time and environment. Most importantly, it makes learning fun!

That being said, Intrepid can be used for fairly large and complex training programs efficiently.

What do you like best about Intrepid by VitalSource?

From an admin perspective I really like that we can put all the tools and information that we are using into one location. This has worked really well when we are onboarding new team members and are easily able to get them the tasks that they need to complete in their first day to 90-days. I wish there was more capabilities around emails and to drip emails out. We currently have to use MailChimp to get set emails to go out as we have new hires weekly.
