"Affordable, Easy-to-Use Proctoring Solution"
What do you like best about Integrity Advocate?

I really appreciate that Integrity Advocate allows for secure remote proctoring without the need for students to download any software. This makes it much more accessible and user-friendly, particularly for those who may experience challenges with additional downloads. The software also offers this at an affordable price while maintaining secure proctoring capabilities, which is a significant advantage. Additionally, the initial setup of Integrity Advocate was very easy, which streamlined the integration process into our existing Moodle site. This ease of setup and functionality greatly enhances our ability to manage proctoring effectively without overwhelming administrative tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Integrity Advocate?

I find the flagging system and the provided frames can be somewhat confusing when reviewing, potentially leading to misunderstandings or misinterpretations during the review process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great LMS Integration, But Pricey"
What do you like best about Integrity Advocate?

I appreciate the seamless integration of Integrity Advocate with Brightspace, our learning management system. This feature allows teachers to directly tie the software to specific assessments or content pieces, enhancing our ability to monitor student behaviors effectively. For our online school, this direct integration simplifies the process of ensuring academic integrity during exams and offers a more cohesive experience for the students. The move from Examity to Integrity Advocate was primarily due to this enhanced integration capability, making it a more fluid experience overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Integrity Advocate?

I've encountered a few issues with Integrity Advocate that are concerning. A significant problem is that some students have found ways to bypass the software by disabling certain features in their browsers, allowing them to take tests without the necessary oversight. This undermines the core purpose of the software, which is to ensure exam integrity. Additionally, integrating the software seamlessly with various content items has been challenging, often resulting in functionality issues that disrupt its intended use. Moreover, the cost is quite steep. The high expense of the licenses is a major concern, especially given that the licenses expire after a year. This expiration makes it difficult to predict the number needed in advance and hinders our ability to purchase in bulk to potentially lower costs. Lastly, the initial setup wasn't particularly straightforward, requiring testing and adjustments to get it to function correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
