What do you dislike about Inspirage?
Lack of project management. This started with significant delay in getting an integration consultant assigned to the project. This resulted in a loss of momentum in the project causing the project to run much longer than should have needed. They didn't take lead in scheduling design session that ended up never actually taking place. 2 weeks before go live, they came back for more hours to complete the work. This was a FF project and at no point in the previous months did they mention anything about a risk of going over, even if there were changes in scope that would have explained that. We felt a little hostage of this as the last task to complete was the final load to production.
Migration from Arena to Propel should be a fairly common thing but it felt that it was the first time they did such a data migration using the Arena standard PDX extract. The data ended-up being all loaded and everything seems to be ok. A month in we are still doing data clean-up of duplicate information. Example, Instead of updating supplier records they were duplicated. Data from an initial test load was not deleted resulting in additional duplicate records. This was brought up to them but they said it was based on the data provided.
In retrospect we think that it's a question of under scoping the data load. If scoped properly they could have planned for more data clean-up before the load, but then we might have gone with another vendor. We did add to the scope at the end but that probably also made them want to get this completed as quickly as possible since they had busted the allocated hours. What problems is Inspirage solving and how is that benefiting you?
Didn't solve problem with Inspirage per say, they were just supporting the implementation of a solution that will generate the benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
