"Engineers Can Sync Data Easily with Standard SQL Queries"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

Engineers can synchronize data using standard SQL queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

Hightouch is a “warehouse-native” platform. If an organization doesn’t already have a highly mature, well-modeled, and clean data warehouse, the software is essentially unusable. It doesn’t offer built-in data quality cleansing or provide source B2B contact data. As a result, data engineers have to manually build the necessary models and joins before marketers can take advantage of the self-service visual features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-use platform with excellent support and proven AID results."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

The drag-and-drop and simple logic rules within the CDP are easy to manage for non-technical users with very little ramp up time needed. Additionally, the AID modelling has proven to be incrementally successful across multiple channels/domains for the company, heling to free up a lot of CRM experimentation bandwidth for other high priority topics.

The Hightouch team is always available and extremely helpful when bugs or issues arise, as well as through the entire onboarding and setup process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

Initial setup can require a lot of time and engineering capacity, and not every requirement was out of the box, with some having to be built during the process. For enterprise businesses, the pricing is likely worth it but could be an issue for smaller businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hightouch Makes Personalized Lifecycle Experiences Fast with an Intuitive UI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

Hightouch has helped me connect data that we historically were unable to do ourselves. Allowing is to connect our onsite and email data at a user level to create more personalized, deep experiences for our known users.

The UI is clear and easy to use, allowing us to as a question in plain english and get an answer quickly (within a few minutes) and then provides us with ideas on next steps to complete within the lifecycle studio UX.

Hightouch's AI solutions have helped us launch new lifecycle experiences in days instead of weeks/months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

One piece of hightouch that could be better is the ability for the agent to reference all data tables instead of just those set up in the schema. If the table isn't in the schema the agent doesn't know it exists, even if it has access to it. Which can be frustrating at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hightouch Speeds Insight-to-Execution for Scalable Personalization and Experiments"
5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

Thumbtack evaluated Hightouch across audience insights and segmentation, content personalization, and campaign ideation. The biggest benefit has been accelerating the path from insight to execution by enabling marketers to independently create audiences, generate content, and launch experiments without relying heavily on DS, Engineering, or Marketing Operations.

For us, this has been especially valuable as we build out Lifecycle without significant additional headcount. Hightouch works best for teams with strong data foundations and clear use cases, as there is an initial ramp to establish workflows and guardrails. Overall, it's been an effective way to scale personalization, experimentation, and campaign development without proportionally increasing resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

One area of opportunity is helping teams accelerate time-to-value during onboarding. We've found the platform is most effective when use cases, data connections, and operating guardrails are defined upfront, particularly in partnership with Data Science. More structured guidance around use case prioritization and recommended validation workflows would help teams ramp faster and gain confidence in what can be self-served versus what benefits from additional review. For organizations that are still maturing their data infrastructure or lifecycle strategy, this could further shorten the path to realizing value from the platform. "Warehouse-Native Activation with Deep SaaS Destinations and Flexible SQL/dbt/Python Syncs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

Hightouch's biggest strength is simple: it doesn't make you copy your data anywhere else. It queries your existing warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift) and pushes the results straight out to over 250 SaaS destinations, covering CRMs, ad platforms, marketing automation tools, and customer success systems. That's one of the deepest catalogs in the category. Technical teams tend to like the flexibility too. You can define syncs using SQL, dbt models, or Python, so it fits right into a workflow your data team probably already runs. The audience-building tools hold up well, letting you build segments with SQL or a visual builder, using complex conditions based on product usage, revenue, or other customer traits. Recognition in the industry backs this up: Gartner named Hightouch a Leader in the 2026 Magic Quadrant for Customer Data Platforms for the first time. And after Fivetran absorbed Census in 2025, Hightouch became the clear standalone, vendor-neutral activation platform for teams who want a dedicated tool rather than one folded into a bigger ingestion vendor. Nothing's perfect, though. Hightouch assumes you already know SQL instead of offering a true no-code setup, and it skips its own transformation layer, so pricing rides on usage and rows synced rather than a flat fee. Teams with a warehouse already in place and some engineering support will get the most value out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

Hightouch has some real gaps too. It doesn't include its own transformation layer, so you're stuck handling that work in dbt or warehouse views before anything gets synced. That's a dealbreaker for smaller teams without dedicated data engineers. SQL proficiency isn't optional here either; unlike more visual, no-code competitors, Hightouch expects your team to write and maintain SQL, dbt, or Python models just to get syncs running. Pricing adds another headache. Costs start around $1,000 a month for up to 500,000 monthly tracked rows, and it climbs into custom enterprise territory from there. Usage-based billing tied to row volume sounds fine on paper, but it gets unpredictable fast once campaign activity or data volume spikes. You also need a cloud data warehouse already in place. Without one, Hightouch simply isn't an option, which rules it out for teams still running on scattered spreadsheets or lighter-weight tools. Put together, it's a platform built for data teams with existing infrastructure and engineering support, not a quick plug-and-play fix for smaller or less technical teams. "Clean Data to Ad Platforms, But the Interface Feels Too Complex"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

The best benefit of high-tech was being able to pass clean data through to our advertising platforms. That was very, very helpful. For us with a large marketing budget, having cleaner data wasn't a planner decision. So definitely we got our money's worth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

I found it to be quite complicated to use. I understand that it's a data software and there's always gonna be levels of technicality involved, but I thought it was some that could be made a lot simpler. And there was a lot of technical jargon that required us to get more teams involved than probably necessary. But overall very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Faster Conversion API setup and better match rates with Hightouch"
5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

Hightouch has significantly improved our ability to scale our ad optimization, Conversion API, and audience targeting setups. It lets us set up our Conversion APIs much faster, and we’ve also seen better match rates compared to our previous setups. We use Hightouch's agents to help with audience setup, sync/destination setup, and reporting, and we rely on them to identify and QA issues in our configuration. They work remarkably well. The warehouse-sync architecture worked fully as promised, and marketers could build useful audiences independently without heavy engineering support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

There are very few things we can say we dislike. In the past, we did run into some issues with the identity resolution configuration for LinkedIn, but we were able to work through them and get everything resolved in partnership with the Hightouch support team. "Intuitive & well designed product, and great experience from Sales & Service"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

The UI remains clean and easy to navigate as the team adds more syncs. It’s been dependable for day-to-day data movement, and small UX updates over time have made managing existing models pretty seamless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

More flexible notification settings (like routing specific sync failure alerts to distinct Slack channels based on owner or tag) would make monitoring larger setups easier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforms CRM Efficiency, Easy for Marketers"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

I love that Hightouch saves us time significantly; what used to take a sprint or two can now be done in hours. I appreciate that it's straightforward and easy to use as a marketer with no engineering or analyst background. It has reduced our time-to-market for CRM campaigns by giving the team direct agility without constantly relying on data engineering and analysts. I found the setup to be very quick between the initial calls, integration, training, and actual usage. Overall, I am very satisfied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

Sometimes if we face a data sync error for a Braze event, the error logs can be too technical for a non-engineer person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A user-friendly platform with powerful integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Hightouch?

I loved how easy it was to start using Hightouch as a new user. Its user interface is quite intuitive and modern, which makes onboarding easy. As an end user, there is a limited set of actions I typically perform on Hightouch, and after an initial training, I have found navigating the platform effortless and even enjoyable. The UI is solid enough that even if I’m doing something new, or something I haven’t repeated long enough to form muscle memory, it feels self-explanatory so I can manage even without having to explore the documentation. Perhaps most importantly for my purview, integrations with Braze and Mixpanel have made Hightouch an invaluable tool for my company, eliminating dependencies on engineering teams and making funneling data from our app into Braze (for marketing purposes) quicker and easier than ever before. They even have a built-in AI agent which has proven super helpful in building audiences. Performance has been reliably stable in my experience, I haven’t encountered any downtime or lags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hightouch?

There are some things that stand to be improved with the user interface, for example when it comes to data visualization (“Charts” under “Intelligence”): Pie chart is not available as an option, sorting options are not available when you have multiple “Group by” dimensions, and the data labels for the bars on a bar chart are truncated. Also, data isn’t automatically refreshed and you must manually click a button to refresh a dashboard or a chart. For me these are minor concerns, as these features are far from being a significant use case for me on Hightouch.

Also, this is probably a me thing, but I haven’t really gotten to the point where the internal terminology (e.g. “Activation,” “Customer Studio” on the navigation panel) is not confusing to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
